We stayed at at the Sunset Palza Condominiuma for the week, and Kem was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to assist us, gave us great reassurance, and even helped take us places when needed. Her kindness and support truly made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. She always went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend!

Review: Sunset Plaza, Karon Beach

I booked this apartment just one day before arriving in Phuket. I chose the Karon area specifically for its family-friendly atmosphere, which we preferred over the busyness of Patong. At Sunset Plaza, I had the choice between a 3-bedroom unit with a captivating sunset sea view or a 2-bedroom unit overlooking the pool. Since we planned to be out and about most of the time, I opted for the more budget-friendly 2-bedroom pool view.

I have no regrets choosing Sunset Plaza. The management team is excellent and was very helpful with our luggage upon arrival.

Property & Amenities
While the condo is not brand new, it is incredibly well-maintained. I cannot emphasize that enough—the upkeep is impressive.

The Pools: There are two pools on-site. One is located between Tower A and Tower B (Tower B units face this pool). The second is an "infinity" pool below Tower A that faces the sea. You can catch a stunning sunset view from there!

Cleanliness: Top-notch. The unit was so clean that we felt compelled to reciprocate the effort; the photos I’ve shared actually show how we left the place before checking out.

Important Considerations
There is one major thing to note: the steep slope leading up to the condo.

Transportation: Large vehicles like TukTuks or 12-seater vans cannot drive up the hill. We were driving an MPV with high-profile tires, so we managed to scrape through, but it was tight.

Walking: If you plan on sightseeing without your own car, be prepared to walk down and climb back up. It’s a workout, but as they say—it’s good for the heart!

Deliveries: For those who love food delivery (like Grab), there is a designated collection point at the lobby. Don't worry—delivery bikes handle the slope with ease.

Parking: Space is limited to about 12 lots. Impressively, they even have an EV charging station for one lot, which further proves how well-managed this property is.

Final Verdict
I highly recommend this place to everyone! We are a family of six, including four children (ages 2, 8, 10, and 11), and it suited us perfectly.

This is a place to stay suitable for people of all ages. It's quiet and fully equipped with amenities. There are swimming pools on both sides, one for the view and one for the room. The staff provides excellent service. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities. I think it's suitable for a long vacation and is worth the price.

Beautiful self-catering apartments in Kata with a stunning sunset view. The apartments are fully furnished, including built-in wardrobes and comfortable furniture. Please keep in mind that because they are all owned by different people, the bedding may vary depending on whether you book one condo through AirBnB or another platform.

The swimming pools are fantastic, and the building is located just by the beach (a 5-minute walk away) and close to local restaurants. There is a short slope up to the building, so make sure you have your own motorbikes or car unless you enjoy good leg days! A security guard is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which means that the parking is safe.

Lastly, a MAKRO (supermarket) is a short walk away from the building, which is ideal for long vacations as all the condos each have their own fully equipped kitchen. Definitely an ideal place to stay in Kata at a very decent price per night!

Awesome views and sunsets, quiet and peaceful place on the hill behind Karon Beach

The most challenging parking I'd ever done in my whole freaking 40 years of life is at a guest parking spot here.

This was my home for 2 weeks. Wonderful views and a pool, gym and air-conditioned rooms. I love the patio and in the morning seeing little monkeys like squirrels and listening to the birds in the morning. And at night you can watch all the green and blue lights of ika fisherman going out from the bay to work all night. This place really felt like home. The steep road up hill to the property stopped our 2 cylinder rental car and we all had to get out so only the driver could make it up the hill. That was funny poor car. And some tiny lizards snuck into the condo like a spider would but these are much less scary and fun. I had my laundry done by the house just beneath the condo and I DON'T RECOMMEND them because I was itchy and runny nose from the perfume smelled so strong. I think they washed they clothes but also doused them in inscense. Smells nice but will over power anything around it.
