Platinum Hotel in Patong

I had a very disappointing experience at Platinum Hotel, mainly because of the rude and unprofessional behavior at the reception.

The staff at the front desk seemed completely unaware of who was staying at the hotel and kept cross-questioning unnecessarily, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Even after showing Thai messages, they claimed they don’t understand Thai, which was confusing and felt like an excuse rather than a genuine issue.

The worst experience was with the person who handles the rental motorbike along with hotel duties. His attitude was extremely rude and dismissive and honestly capable of ruining your entire mood for the day. Zero hospitality, zero courtesy.

When you stay at a hotel, basic respect and clear communication are expected. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. Because of the staff behavior alone, I would not recommend this hotel, regardless of location or price.

I booked a room for a night for the price of 170€ at 12:30 pm and when I got to the property at 1:00
they told me the check-jn starts only at 14:00. So l decided to cancel the booking as they did not let me check-in. The property decided not to refund the money for my booking. Avoid at all cost! They are scammers!

Dirty, dirty, smelly.
The rug was disgusting.
Bathroom dirty, smelly, shower not drained properly.
Noisy, you could hear everything from next door rooms, from the street, music.
Far away from the beach. 7/11 next door. Plenty of places to eat close by.
Not good quality-price relation.
