Location is strategic. The room is spacious and very clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Kids love the water park, so much fun! Breakfast provided with variety of choices. Overall the resort is good and satisfy. Recommended to stay!

Let's be honest, over 80% of the guests at this Phuket hotel are white Caucasians and Russians. The security is quite good. This hotel is very friendly to white people, with very few Asian guests. The breakfast is quite rich and caters mostly to Western tastes. My child enjoyed it, but I imagine older Chinese guests might not be used to it. The bread is delicious, but the coffee is terrible. The Thai milk tea at breakfast is good though.
There are some morning activities that kids will love. However, I was genuinely shocked that they charge a tip for folding elephant towels. If you stay for seven nights and don't tip, they won't clean your room. Calling them or hanging the 'do not disturb' sign doesn't work. As soon as you pull out some Thai baht, they'll clean it immediately. A small tip gets a basic clean, while a larger tip gets a thorough clean with fresh sheets. The staff are extremely friendly to white guests, but their attitude towards Asian guests is just so-so. Picture three shows the hotel's fifth-floor rooftop, where you can watch the sunset over Karon Beach.

I had the most valuable time over at Phuket Emerald. The staffs are great - from the front desk, to the breakfast table and concierge, Eak - he’s very helpful!

The pool is very great for kids, though a little cold at times but it’s ok because the weather is hot. And it’s about 5-7 mins walk to the beach, cross a small road that’s all. Pay about 200 baht for 2 deck chairs.

The rooms in this hotel are spacious, but the cleanliness inside the room isn't great. The towels felt really dirty and were quite grubby. The disposable toothbrushes were the shedding kind. There's a kids' playground and a pool, but the pool has a lot of stairs, so you need to be very careful as it's easy to get injured. I saw many children get hurt, including my own child who injured their foot. The breakfast also isn't very suitable for a Chinese palate. In terms of location, there's a 7-Eleven and a massage place right outside, and The Old Phuket is nearby. If you cross the road, there's a fruit stand on the right and then the beach. Frankly, putting aside the kids' slide and pool, this room is worth at most 200. What I don't understand is why I was charged an extra 1050 THB when I booked a family room and was traveling with just one child.

This hotel is perfect for families. The rooms are spacious, and having direct access to the pool from the room is super convenient for kids to swim. Plus, there's a water park! It's also very close to Karon Beach and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it's a good stay.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! There are plenty of food and drink options right outside, and a 7-Eleven too. Karon Beach is just across the road. The hotel's swimming pool is a bit on the small side, but the breakfast spread is quite good.

I saw this hotel recommended by a blogger on Xiaohongshu and didn't pay much attention to the reviews at the time, thinking maybe people were just too picky. I booked it anyway for its good location. From start to finish, this hotel seemed intent on squeezing every last penny out of its guests. I had two children, one 12 and one four. They told me I'd have to pay extra for the 12-year-old, as they considered them an adult, which I could understand. I asked if we could get an extra bed or a larger room, but was told there were none available. We never had this issue at Marriott. Secondly, we were limited to four glass bottles of water per day, and had to pay for more. Seriously?! At Marriott, you can drink as much as you want! Then there's the breakfast – it was beyond words, practically nothing edible, and the ingredients weren't fresh. The towels in the room looked like they'd been used for ages, discolored and stiff. The toilet paper was so thin it was practically see-through. When checking out, you absolutely MUST call a staff member to your room to verify everything. They tried to charge me extra on my way out, first claiming a cloth bag was missing, then a spoon. Staying at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. Friendly warning: seriously, don't go to this hotel. Those Xiaohongshu bloggers must have been paid, I feel scammed. Oh, and the pool water was dirty. Also, they told us the pool foam party was extra – how bizarre!

The Air Conditioning: The AC unit in our room was extremely noisy and barely cooled the space. Despite reporting this to the staff, they were unable to fix the issue.
Breakfast Experience: While there was a variety of food, it simply wasn't tasty. Moreover, the dining area was constantly overcrowded, and we had to wait for a table every single morning. To make matters worse, seating is only available outdoors, which is completely impractical on hot or rainy days.
Outrageous Pool Policy: There was an activity at the pool that required an additional fee. This is absolutely absurd, especially since our room opened directly to the pool area. Why should guests be charged just to access the pool if they don't wish to participate in a specific activity? Pure audacity.
Poor Hospitality: On our final day, we received a phone call early in the morning just to 'remind' us to check out. It felt unwelcoming and gave us the feeling they just wanted us out as soon as possible.
Bottom line: Do not stay here. There are much better options for your money

Facilities: The hotel's soundproofing is terrible; the floors are thin, and it's incredibly noisy. There's practically no sound insulation, so if you're a light sleeper, it'll be hard not to be disturbed. The two slides have too many bumps and could easily cause injuries.
