Very nice facility, the service and the room amneties may be off sometimes.But they are quick to respond to complaints.Very spacious rooms.Breakfast gets repetitive after 2 days.Better to book late to get beat prices in off season

Very nice hotel, big neat and clean rooms. Helpful and courteous staff. Location is also very nice, just opposite Karon beach.

I've stayed in many novotels
Across the world. Disapppinted really with is as I expect a certain level of quality. What is novotels obsession with lack of bathroom privacy. This has opaque glass so I can see in and I don't want to thanks very much. My husband is 5 foot 6. The bath is so high up he has to kneel in the shower. Old people wouldn't be able to get in it. I've never known anything like it. Food is fab, lovely pools, lovely staff and great location. Just sort out the bathroom!!

The first impression is good. The room is spacious. They provide the kids with treasure hunt. Walking distance around 10-15 minutes walk to shopping shops. The beach is just opposite the hotel. However, I'm quite disappointed with the kids club. The staff was not friendly, no smiling at all. They have program for kids but I think not working. That time the program is puppet show but they didn't approach the kids. Instead they just let the kids to watch movie or play games. It was my first time that the parents must stay all the time in hotel if the kids were in kids club. If the kids was 3 year old then I can understand. But for 7 n 9 years old kids, I'm quite surprise. Even I said just go out for a while to buy food.

Staff were very friendly and helpful always except person cooking on our last morning at breakfast, the bacon didn't look really cooked so I asked if I could have some of the other she had in the pan and she would not let me. But on the whole all other staff were excellent. The Recreation Manager "Peach" took the time to have a chat with us about Thailand one day when he wasn't so busy and it was extremely helpful, don't let him get away. We had an issue with our Toilet in 3215 a couple of times. But they fixed it in a timely manner. Other than that they seem to always be doing maintenance on it, so I think for 4 star they are really good to stay with. The only thing that really bugged me was the pool hours "7am to 7pm" the end of the day when you have been into Patong for dinner or on a day trip that hasn't gotten back till late, sometimes 6.30pm then you didn't get to enjoy the pool and cool off before you went to bed. Would be good to see just one pool maybe the main because it is away from everyone open every day until 9pm at least every night. Bed was extremely hard, they did try to fix it but still way to hard for us. But I know it looks a lot of not good but these were minor as it was still really good service and the rooms were lovely

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The resort is mostly family friendly and great staff.

My only complaint would be the resort is not smoke free. There were too many times I'm with my kids and people are smoking around the pool areas etc exposing them to second hand smoke. This was a real turn off for my wife and I. I have to say though this was my only complaint. If the resort would be smoke free, we would have no problem with rating 10/10.

The staff were very good and the rooms were large. The resort is very nice with good swimming pools and restaurants, but it is about a 10 minute walk to the nearby town. My only complaintshows are that the toilets blocked on a couple of occasions during our 5 day stay and that the cleaning could be improved. Our towels and bed linen were not changed unless I stayed with the cleaner and told her what to do. Also the shower was not very powerful. Otherwise a good hotel. Guests should also be warned of the dangers of Karon beach and the potential to drown.

The guest reception upon arrival were very warm and welcoming. Our overall stay at the hotel was memorable and pleasurable. The Thai people are very friendly and are willing to help you where they can. Room service was very efficient at keeping our room clean and tidy, very good housekeeping. The hotel grounds are just simply stunning and memorizing.
We had trouble checking in our flight due to a system error. The hotel offered to put us through to the Malaysian airlines with whom we were flying with, so we gratefuly accepted their assistance.
However, upon checking out of the hotel we were presented with an unexpected bill of 1075 baht for the telephone calls made to Malaysian airlines. We were surprised by this as we were not informed prior to the hotel putting us through to the air line that we would be charged. Had we known about this we would have chosen to either not make the calls and wait to speak with someone at the airport or just make one call instead of three. The hotel staff should have provided my husband and I with this information as the bill could have been a lot more. It's their duty to make sure their guests have the essential information required to make any informed decision.
