Clean and comfortable

Great location with lots of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes nearby. Almost zero atmosphere so wouldn’t recommend if you want to socialise. Dorms were good w comfy beds but very little space beyond the bed. Same for bathrooms. Would rec if you’re looking for somewhere good value for money for a decent night’s sleep - but not more.

An absolutely perfect experience! This hotel is great for female solo travelers and is also popular with locals. During my stay, I met several lovely Thai ladies. There are also many international guests, and everyone is quite considerate, though we also had some fun chats.

**Convenient Check-in:** The hotel is very close to Phrom Phong BTS station, just a 5-minute walk. Check-in is at 2 PM, but you can store your luggage if you arrive early. The front desk staff speak excellent English, are very patient, and provide a lot of useful information if you ask. They even helped me when my power bank cable wasn't working. There's also a 7-Eleven less than 50 meters from the hotel, which is super convenient.

**Security:** The hotel is located next to a commercial area, just past a street with various Japanese restaurants. You need a key card to enter the hotel, so security is quite good. Each bed in every room has its own electronic password lock.

**Facilities:** The common areas are quite spacious; you can relax on both the first and second floors. Breakfast is served on the second floor every morning and consists of a simple Western spread: milk, cereal, bread, and a daily rotation of meatballs with hot soup or fried eggs with sausage. Each bunk bed has an individual curtain, and the mattress is neither too hard nor too soft. The pillows and duvet are also very comfortable.

**Cleanliness:** I stayed in a female-only quad room on the fourth floor, which was conveniently right next to the women's restroom. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, smell fresh, and feel very clean.

My time here left me with some truly wonderful memories. I would definitely choose this clean and convenient hotel again on my next trip to Bangkok!

Love everything bout this place. Clean, hygienic, location is awesome. Brought my running shoes to run at the opposite park. Street food are right in front. Several beer pubs.

Good location, from BTS Phomphong take exit 5, hotels have elevator, bed is clean toilet is clean, breakfast just fried egg no boiled no scrambled eggs, but they have breakfast station, l like to stay here and would like to come again.

The whole place is clean, the room is nice got huge locker to put your luggage.

Laundry, washer & drier available. Iron also there, just need to ask the receptionist.

I had a great solo stay at Speck Bangkok. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes from Phrom Phong BTS and close to cafes, street food, and shopping malls. The place is very clean and stylish, with a modern boutique vibe. Service was friendly, though there’s a little room for improvement. Amenities like lockers, laundry, and a chill co-working area were very convenient. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers looking for comfort and design in a central area!
