The Raintree Hotel Chiangmai in Chiang Mai City

This hotel was absolutely not good and way to expensive for this quality. It was not as clean as expected — we still found black hair in the bathroom and it was very smelly. The staff seemed more focused on their phones than on their work. The food was of low standard.

The manager was not helpful when we wanted to cancel something and hide from us. So they voided us to dodge the conversation, even though we were guests for four nights already. The manager was hiding in the office let us wait and didnt show up even we ask the stuff to talk to the manager. We ask again because we was waiting and randomly the manager wasnt anymore in the office.. randomly somewhere else. They claimed they couldn’t change the booking, even though everyone knows they just need to approve it in the system if they want to because we mention it straight away. They dont even offer a fair solutions. So better dont support this hotel because they treat costumer bad. Imagine the manager hide from us to avoid the conversation instead of just talking to us.

Overall, it was an unfriendly and disappointing experience. No worries — there will be more reviews coming soon and also a video on social media. Hotel: if you want to avoid any other bad reviews find a polite and fair solution instead because noone want to be treated like that. Otherwise it will affect your business negative :) Thank You for attention hope to hear from you soon.

Unclean room and quite far from the city. Weird vibe from the staff. Very disappointing stay.

During my stay, the breakfast was terrible, and I found the service to be even worse than I could have imagined. The staff seemed lazy and often entered my room without permission, which was quite unsettling. To top it all off, I lost two shirts and some money, adding to my overall disappointment with the experience.
