RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort in Chiang Mai City

This was a great stay for a family with little kids. Breakfast had a lot of variety but wasn't anything special - basic buffet style. I wish there were more Thai options.

A beautiful hotel which is calming and proud of its Thai culture. Stunning flower and art displays are thoughtfully positioned throughout the hotel. Delicious food and drinks. But what I loved mostly about this hotel is the warm and welcoming staff team from the minute you walk in. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Thank you 🙏🏻🌺

Exceptional Stay at Ratilanna Resort & Spa – A True Northern Thai Gem!

From the moment we arrived at Ratilanna Resort & Spa, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. The warm and personalized welcome set the tone for our stay—the front desk staff greeted me by name and offered a refreshing traditional northern Thai drink that was both unique and delightful.

The hospitality continued as the staff walked us through the beautiful property, ensuring we felt comfortable and familiar with all the amenities before leading us to our rooms. To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to a spacious room with a private balcony, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay.

What truly stood out was their attentiveness to our family’s needs. My mother has limited mobility, and without us even having to ask, the staff had a wheelchair prepared for her, making it effortless for her to enjoy the resort to the fullest. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made a difference in our experience.

The breakfast each morning was another highlight—an incredible spread of fresh and delicious options catering to a variety of tastes. Every meal was a perfect start to the day, enjoyed in the serene setting of the resort.

Ratilanna Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way, from their impeccable service to the tranquil ambiance. If you’re looking for a place that blends authentic Northern Thai hospitality with luxury and comfort, this is it. We can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort in Chiang Mai, and overall, it was a good experience, but there are some areas for improvement, especially for a 5-star hotel.

Positive Aspects:
• Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and the riverside location of the restaurant created a serene and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Spa and Pool: The spa services were relaxing, and the pool area was clean and peaceful.
• Architecture and Décor: The resort’s design and décor were stunning, blending traditional Thai elements with modern touches.
• Staff: The reception staff were friendly and very helpful throughout the stay.

Areas for Improvement:
• Housekeeping: The room cleaning wasn’t up to standard. Towels weren’t replaced even when requested, and toiletries were not restocked unless specifically asked for each day.
• Room Amenities: The room lacked sufficient space to hang clothes, which was inconvenient.

In general, the stay was pleasant, but to truly reflect its 5-star rating, the hotel should focus on improving these details. With a few adjustments, it could be a top-tier luxury experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Ratilanna from January 10-13. Our experience was made even more special with a complimentary room upgrade, which added a touch of grandeur to our stay. The food at the restaurant was delightful and we particularly loved the extensive breakfast spread.

Our only suggestion would be to include a few more vegetarian options on the menu. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing experience!
