Arrived at the hotel at almost 11pm, check in was a breeze and was nice of the hotel staff for giving us a late check out. Breakfast selection was abundance and excellent. Aside from the room being a little small, the drainage of the sink slow and pillows a bit too soft, otherwise the stay was extremely relax and pleasant.

The room was a decent size, and the location is very convenient. However, we didn't get to explore much on our own this trip. The kids' play area is small, but they do offer 30-minute supervised sessions. The hotel's style is quite refreshing, and the breakfast selection was pretty good.

The InterContinental Hotel's management is truly impeccable, and the service is incredibly attentive. It's also famously one of the hotels where Teresa Teng once stayed. Those interested in her history can visit her former room/suite, which is located within the hotel, though there seems to be an admission fee. A special highlight is their breakfast, which is fantastic and offers a wide variety of options. Furthermore, the hotel's environment is exceptionally peaceful and quiet. For guests who appreciate tranquility, this place is absolutely faultless.

The room itself was just okay. Having previously stayed in a larger Lanna-style room, this one felt quite small. Housekeeping was very subpar. My room wasn't cleaned the entire day I was out! After multiple discussions and complaints, they eventually moved me to a different room. On the plus side, the hotel's location is pretty good, being very close to the night market. The pool was clean, and they also have a smaller kids' pool. Breakfast was decent, but the menu remained largely the same for all three days of my stay, which got quite boring. Other services, in contrast to housekeeping, were much better and more professional. Trip.com's international support was practically useless; I ended up having to deal directly with the hotel. Their overseas service in this regard is not well-executed, so don't count on Trip.com to intervene on your behalf.

This is Teresa Teng's favorite hotel, making it a pilgrimage for her fans. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an excellent location, offering great convenience for getting around. The rooms are spacious, the service is outstanding, and it's definitely worth a stay!

I spent two weeks in Chiang Mai, staying at three different places. The Mae Ping was the only star-rated hotel; the other two were guesthouses. My experience here was excellent; a star-rated hotel truly offers peace of mind in every aspect. The pool and breakfast were fantastic, and I had absolutely no regrets about my stay.

I stayed in two room types: a classic King and a twin. The twin room was noticeably much more spacious. I recommend emailing the hotel in advance to confirm a twin room before booking; this will greatly improve your experience.

The only minor drawback is that there isn't much to explore right around the hotel. However, getting a taxi or using ride-share apps is very convenient, so it's not a major issue.

My tip for visiting Chiang Mai is to try a few different hotels. Spend the first few days exploring attractions and shopping, then save The Mae Ping for your last few days. This way, you can comfortably relax by the pool and unwind. It was truly delightful.

Very very excellent hotel. Clean place, nice breakfast, swimming pool. Staff are all so nice and helpful. Will surely revisit this hotel in the future.

My room was peaceful, beautifully designed, and quiet thanks to excellent sound insulation. The bathtub was a dream, perfect after a hot day out. The pool was serene and uncrowded, the kind of place you could actually unwind without a circus around you.

Breakfast was quality-focused, not overhyped. Fresh fruit, local flavors, good coffee, and actual care put into everything.

In short: this hotel delivers class, calm, and competence.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, and its overall color scheme, especially the avocado green tones, was very soothing. The pool and restaurant were stunning, and the cocktails at the pool bar were also excellent.

The room is clean and spacious. Service staffs always carry a smile and ready to help. Kids club is small but the staffs make it a wonderful place for the kids. Best thing about the hotel is the location. Supermarket, restaurants, bars and cafes and all within walking distance.
