This is a good, basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, which is what matters most.

The room was simple and functional. Everything worked, and the temperature control was easy to manage. The bed was decent enough for a few nights' sleep.

We had the breakfast, and it was a standard offering—coffee, toast, some eggs. It got us fueled up without any fuss.

The staff were polite and efficient. Check-in and check-out were fast.

Decent budget hotel in a great location close to the Old Town, with a pool and newly renovated rooms on the 4th floor. For only 40 US$ in peak Christmas season a VERY good value for money.

Right near Chiang Mai gate, the hotel is central to everything. The staff are the friendliest and most responsive of any hotel I’ve stayed at yet on my travels. Beds are comfortable and any issue was fixed with great efficiency. Breakfast was tasty too. Great value for money.

Great hotel with welcoming, friendly staff. We got a delux room for 5 nights and feel it’s the perfect size! Staff helped us up to our room with bags which was greatly appreciated☺️

I don’t normally leave reviews but very disappointed with this hotel. Beds are clean enough but rooms are grubby, cobwebs snd stains above the a/c unit and in the shower. But most of all the shower is terrible - it’s dark and cramped, and the shower head is NOT adjustable in terms of angle or height, and so sprays water all over the floor - even with shower curtain closed because it is too short to stop the water escaping!! Also the fridge in the room is really loud - (measured at 61 decibels) and so hard to sleep with the noise. It is a cheap hotel like many in Thailand but you really get what you pay for this time.

The pool was nice though and the location is good.

Nice hotel about 5mins walk south of old city wall, hence the name.
We had a warm welcome and a nice big room. Toiletries and a couple of bottles of water in the fridge provided.
Swimming pool was out of action so no idea if any good.
Breakfast had a good selection of food with fruit toast, eggs and tea coffee etc.

I booked a hotel because I saw that it had a swimming pool, but when I got there it was closed for renovations. My daughter was very disappointed. Plus, there were only two of us, my daughter and I, so they gave us a room with three beds. When we changed to a new room, the bed sank. The staff didn't ask the customer a single question when we got the three beds.

The hotel has a great location. There are massage parlors nearby, including men's massage parlors. However, all of them close at midnight. Regarding hotel facilities, the air conditioning wasn't very cold.
