B2 Suthep Night Market Premier Resort in Chiang Mai City

We wanted to like this hotel. It probably used to be a nice hotel back in the days. But unfortunately, the hotel has not been maintained well. My husband saw a big rat as he was going to the general hotel bathroom (not the bedroom bathroom) while we were waiting for our room. We were also shocked to find out that the hotel didn't provide any hand soap. The hotel just wasn't very clean overall. The windows are small and they face the hallway so there's no privacy and no natural light coming in. The AC was leaking constantly and we couldn't sleep well because of the very loud constant noise outside the room.

I booked this room just two minutes ago and realized I had chosen the wrong date. No matter how hard I tried to contact the hotel, they wouldn't let me cancel, even though it was more than ten days before my stay. So, I had no choice but to check in. It turned out the photos didn't match the actual room; what looked like a balcony was actually a corridor. The facilities were old, and the hygiene was very subpar. The room was really dark; if I left the door open, people would constantly walk by, and if I closed it, I'd have to turn on the lights even during the day. The disposable slippers looked like they'd been used by countless guests. It definitely wasn't worth the price, and the location was very remote too. If you don't believe me, go ahead and step into this trap. I only ended up here because my friend lives nearby, which made pickups and drop-offs convenient.
