De Lanna Hotel in Chiang Mai City

Room, was nice and spacious. Only given 3stars because the pillows where like concrete and there was no plug sockets beside the beds.

I had to use the service to get into my room a few times due to me leaving the key on the room. Staff where very happy to help n no questions.

Couldn't have asked for a better location every you need is at your doorstep. I would recommend the café/ restaurant just two doors up from the hotel 10/10 food. Loads to do within walking distance. I would also recommend getting a scooter its well worth it

Looking for a good hotel in Chiang Mai? Look into De Lanna Hotel, right in the center of the old city. We recently stayed there on two different occasions and loved it. Great price, location, staff. Very good rooms and nice pool.

Conveniently located with attractions, restaurants and massage services within walking distance. Rooms are a little old but still functioning well. Biggest issue is the intermittent internet connection. Impossible to do any work there if you need the internet.

I spent two nights with my father and my brother. It was very nice. Breakfast was a little bit poor but whatever we had was quite good. Other from that it was nice location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Everything was by foot
and we liked it.

I was quite surprised when I entered this hotel. Very well set up. With plenty of outdoor seating, a swimming pool, a restaurant & Cafeteria, laundry on site for 40 Baht washer and 60 Baht Dryer. Well equipped rooms with large televisions, large bathroom, shower and tub, toilet equipped with Bidet which I Love, wardrobe for clothes and it looks to be that that each room has a terrace and the lower levels have mini ponds going along all the rooms with Frogs and fish. Very unique and beautiful design...

Probably the first time in my life that I ate Ham by mistake was at this hotel. They had the ham diced up sitting next to vegetables in the omelet station.... Everything was Un-labeled. So me, like a fool, suspecting that it was a Vegetable, I told the chef put everything in the Omelet. All their OTHER FOOD items at the hot table were LABELED by the way, which is why i assumed this was a Vegetable. How would one suspect 1 out of 6 items to be pork lol... (none of the vegetables were labeled but you can clearly see they are all vegetables. Meat should always be labeled.

If you eat Halal/Kosher... There are some vegetarian options for you IE Eggs, but make sure to specify to them NO PORK lol... They had Pad Thai for breakfast, but it was not Kosher/Halal. Too bad, this would have been my favorite choice.

Over all, you will find some Halal/Kosher options throughout Chang Mai so it's all good! And I did enjoy my stay at this particular hotel. It's quite central to some Temples, night markets, restaurants, massage parlors, bike rentals and everything else is accessible through GRAB App or local taxi. I would indeed stay here again.

Quite old furniture but well maintain and clean
Location is great near to wat prasing. In the moring parking is full and lot of van waiting for tourist

Get the room with a nice balcony facing the pool and courtyard!! Easy walking around old town.

We enjoyed our stay !
Bed was comfortable, room was big, nice balcony
Big bathroom but it had a confusing shower wand and shower head.
Room did have a step up in the room to a raised floor
About 8 inches.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant so we can’t help with that !

Excellent location especially for first time visitors to Chiang Mai: it's within walking distance but not right on top of the intensely tourtist areas. Beds are soft. Service is unobtrusive unless you have a problem, you will not see anybody between check-in and check-out. There are some really good fish ball noodle places nearby for breakfast. Which you should skip at the hotel. It's not terrible, but as in so many hotels in Thailand, I'd gladly give up 1/2 the dishes they offer for a decent cup of coffee. It's just horrible. That's one star off. It used to be if you asked them for a decent coffee they would make it, not anymore. And there's a great coffee place just to the right, just outside the hotel.
