It's fine. Very nice location, staff were mostly nice. The hotel looks very nice, but actually the rooms aren't that comfortable. They are really dark, not very private, the shower is a hole in the ground. Soundproofing does not exist, hope your neighbours are quiet. Not sure i would stay again.

Traveling as an older couple, we especially appreciated the breakfast. The facilities were very clean, and the soundproofing was excellent.

Friedly staff and nice location in central Chiang Mai, walkable distance to many restaurants and cafes, specially at night is more lively. The room has everything needed. Decent quality at this price. One thing to note that, the room isn’t soundproof. You can easily hear people walking and talking. The floor is made of wood so you will hear cracking sound. So far it was good for 1 night.

Owned by Chinese, the service was excellent. However, the breakfast was very limited. The location was convenient for getting everywhere.

The hotel was amazing, room was huge and had a bath and a shower, balcony too. Cleaned daily.
Breakfast buffet wasn’t too big but had great selection of food choices.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
We came for my friends birthday and Loy Krathong festival.
They kindly brought a cake to my friend birthday morning.
They also had FREE Loy Krathong celebration that you can sign for the day before the actual event, and it was much better than expected, multiple performances and free food.
Would recommend to everyone!

Clean and aesthetic. Traditional architecture made of natural materials. Close to temples, cafes, restaurants, and shops. Very polite and helpful staff. The lanai is great to hangout in at daytime when the sun is hot and you don't wanna walk around the city until the temperature gets cooler.

This is an incredibly nice old style building. Service was excellent, rooms clean and well presented. Hotel boasts a small gym and small pool for basic physical exercise needs. Location is fabulous with a short walk to tae phae gate and old city as well as the busy markets. Staff superb in terms of being welcoming.

Trace Hotelistro blew me away! The hotel design, the chill vibes, and the amazing staff were all incredible, and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night.
Our room couldn't have been more perfect. The bed was so comfy that we didn't even want to go out to explore, and the balcony was an awesome bonus. The staff were also some of the nicest people we've encountered at any hotel, so we will be recommending this place to everyone we meet. If you stay, make sure to get smoothie bowl in the morning, because they are out-of-this-world amazing. I got the Lychee berry one and can 100% recommend it.
Thanks for a wonderful last night in Thailand, and we will definitely be back in the future!

Great community feel here, with great Smoothie Bowls and Thai-inspired cocktails! The rooms are super comfortable and minimalist which is what you need in Chiang Mai. Close to everything so relevance. Definitely 5 stars!!

I had a great time at Trace. Everything was just perfect. The bedrooms are very clean, and so beuatiful! It is a quite place, with a lovely staff. Trace is close to the night bazaar. They also have Smoothie bowls and cocktails that are just amazing! If you are going to Chiang Mai, i would definitely recommend to stay in Trace Hotelistro.

We went for a cocktail night, but we couldn't resist to try their amazing smoothie bowls! Make yourself a favour and try the snickers smoothie bowl, it's so good! 😍 The environment is super cozy and picturesque and the bartender was really nice. The prices are affordable. The cocktails are super different of what we are used to, but that's what made the experience so fun at this bar! My favourite cocktail was the "Miss..." (the orange one), with a strong cinnamon flavour. The cocktails' presentation was so beautiful (as you can see by the photos). Totally recommend!

The design here is beautiful. It feels rustic and contemporary, as the owner converted a 150 year old bakery into a hostel. If you're looking for a place that has character, look no further. The quaint jazz bar and restaurant below are an added bonus. In between the night bazaar and the old city, it is an ideal location.
