Hotels with beach in Ko Samui

Owners are amazing, cannot do enough for you, one of the best hotels we have stayed at during our month of travelling Thailand, clean rooms comfy beds and good pool area, access to the beach with sunbeds provided for guests, where owners husband runs bungalows and restaurant and his also very helpful and friendly, would stay again and recommend to others

Good hotel, but the price is a bit high, because of this there are few visitors. Across the road is a hotel with a bungalow, the price is 2 times cheaper and there are a lot of people, it is not boring, the first line

The bungalows are comfy, beachside and cheap! You get exactly what you pay for - no issues. A lot of people complaining he is rude and stops people walking along. It’s his home aswell as his business

Speak to him like he’s the human he is, he’s extremely friendly, has great stories, generous and the food he cooks at his little restaurant by the beach is amazing. I couldn’t vote this place enough

You need to go around to the beach, I tried to go straight, the owner of the hotel attacked me, shouted that this is his house and you can't do that, I had to be threatening and go anyway

Also, he has plenty of signage directing people to access the beach by the public roads

Quiet, shady, beach to swim But the floor may have some stones. The house is a large house, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a common area

This resort is not bookable online but it’s not closed as suggested on google maps. It can be done directly or via travel agencies in Samui. The variety of birds, butterfies and fish make this place feel like paradise

Bangkok airport has lost our luggage and the owner made everything possible to help us find and retrieve it. She also helped with bike rental and took us in her car to the recommended place, which was excellent

The place has wonderful atmosphere, elements of luxury and style. It’s excellent value for money in Samui. Every night we had fantastic sunsets. You need to rent a bike or a car to travel around

Good place for a relaxing holiday. Well-groomed territory, cozy houses, a pond with fish. The sea is not bathable, but beautiful - very calm and with beautiful sunsets.

We stayed in this wonderful place for a month and I was very satisfied. The bungalows are excellent, the owner and staff are very kind and helpful

Great location, quiet and near the beach. Good food with lots of options, fast delivery. The staff was really nice, provided super fast laundry. The gym had a good functioning AC and the equipment worked well

My service is with the yoga vikasa but the location and nice staff are worth it, silver beach is just 12 minutes walk and can always download grab. The sounds of birds and sea view is just amazing

A royal portion of American breakfast, accompanied by coffee, fresh orange juice and a glass of water with ice. Big plate with perfectly baked sunny-side-up eggs, sausage and "real" bacon slices

I came here for retreat and this place was incredible! The best view and sunrise in the saltwater swimming pool. The staffs are friendly and very helpful, the food so good

Imagine it would get quite busy during peak periods. Decor is a little dated but still very nice. Beach front rooms are brilliant. Step out of the private pool onto the beach and into the ocean

The location of our HPV was just perfect, and for a little more money (or even the same amount, depending on when and where you book) you get a pool you can actually swim in, not just a tiny plunge pool

We stayed at the Pavilion for a week and loved it from the moment we arrived. The staff are very attentive and helpful, taking excellent care of their guests. The room and plunge pool are breathtaking

There is a party ship not far that plays music at night, the basses of which can be heared and felt. Though for me, not in a way that disturbs sleep. Some one star reviews complain of not getting access to the beach

We had the bungalow right on the beach. Great! However, we had bad luck with the weather and the waves were high – very loud, which you could hear even in the bungalow

Good Air Conditioner and Nice Bathroom and nice New TV. This hotel won’t suit everyone as a little bit quirky but we thought all the old wooden style of the room and traditional Thai furniture just added to its charm

Those who are light sleepers should keep this in mind. The room was a bit dated, but that didn't bother us. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was great

You get waitress service at breakfast and order from a menu which was a nice change from the usual buffet

The house is right on the beach and there are restaurants on the beach or restaurants nearby that we could reach on foot. We will not forget this time in this beautiful and special house

When the tide is out, there is an expansive sandy beach though

The house was even nicer than in the photos. Kevin was always there for us when we had a question and he organized excursions for all of us. He was in the background, but when we needed him, we could always contact him

The best swimming pool overlooking the sea and a private beach, a pristine and romantic villa, and lush jungle garden. All with fantastic restaurants at the doorstep. 3 stays and counting!

Kevin is also an amazing host and made our stay very comfortable with great local recommendations for food, activities and unique experiences. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit

We spent a week at one of Kevin’s villas. Absolutely stunning with every luxury you could wish for in a very quiet and peaceful beach location. We will return.

Wonderful place to stay in koh samui ,Jon and his wife were the best hosts and the location of the place is very close to the beautiful ban tai beach , Everything worked well in the villa,The rooms are , clean, comfortable and have a excellent wifi

Great lovely villas that are well-maintained and clean. The owner is very friendly and everyone always goes out of their way to help you. I spent a wonderful 2 months here and can't wait to head back again soon!

Only minus point is that its a bit off the beaten track, so if you check in late/don't have any transport there are no shops nearby to get water etc. Maybe a couple of bottles in the fridge could be a nice touch

Villa itself was lovely, clean, comfortable and honestly the softest sheets I ever had the pleasure of sleeping in! Would definitely book here again to enjoy the place as it should be enjoyed

Everything worked well in the villa, and they were always responsive if we needed anything. Other guests were also nice, all rooms built around a refreshing pool so a little community

We also had a private plunge pool which was perfect for cooling down in the hot Thai afternoons or sitting around to have a cocktail. The staff are all fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful

Poy was friendly and incredibly helpful and patient with all of my questions ahead of the trip. She always greeted us with a smile, a story and ensured we had a perfect spot to enjoy our meals

Not remotely an issue - and fantastic given we were a family with young adults. The separation was ideal but worth knowing if you are a family with younger children

Our trip from Canada took a very long time and we found SeaDance was exactly what we needed to start our Thai adventure and adjust to the time change

Great location on the beach, staff very friendly and helpful! Helped us to hire a moped so no deposit or passport needed. Did have to request clean sheets as ours was stained but these were replaced straight away

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the furniture wasn't new but it was okay, the breakfast was very good, the hotel's architecture was very nice, the pool was beautiful, and its location was just a second from Lamai Beach and close to all the central cafes

Great hotel right on the beach. Good clean rooms, excellent breakfast but lunch and dinner not recommended, you can get better much cheaper in town. Only a short walk to town and beach bars

The resort is perfect, the pool is right off the beach, the location is close to all of the restaurants, bars and shops in Lamai. The breakfast is excellent, we really enjoyed it everyday

We will definitely stay at The Hive the next time we are in Koh Samui, which I hope is soon. We will also recommend to anyone we know who is going to Lamai Beach in Koh Samui

Plenty of loungers, spoilt by guests who seem to get up at dawn to claim a bed with a towel and then use it for a few minutes later that day

If someone wants to snorkel, then this beach is not for you. Sun loungers on the beach are free for guests of this hotel. You need to take a taxi to the shopping center (300 baht one way)

BUT, I didn't like the beach: because of the silt at the bottom, the water is muddy, low tides in the morning (were in mid-June), very shallow, the water is hot

For my birthday they surprised with decorated the bed and a cake! Felt so special! Right on the beach with insanely beautiful beach. Breakfast was the only thing that needs work

Facilitate guests and courteous as well. Including the chef was cooking very delicious, clean rooms and facilities for the key is to have peace, not chaos. Bang Po beach , although not comparable to Chaweng

The only good thing was we left the place around 9pm and there were no Taxis or people on the road. We started walking and they sent someone to drop us off. I was expecting more when I saw the reviews on this place

The spa was definitely the strong point of this resort. The room was good too, however there was some kind of animal walking on the ceiling (not the roof) during the night

We stay here for 5 days and we love our stay here. I stay in Junior Suite Pool view. In room is well-furnished and clean. The beach here also nice with the restaurant of hotel ,we enjoy have a drink and enjoy our beach

Located in perfect spot by the chaweng beach. I didn't even moved 20 feet from the resort since everything was so close by. Rooms have tasteful decor, the pool stays open till 10 pm and staffs were very warm

Excellent Resort at affordable price. Mind blowing beach side restaurant.

What an amazing place! We staid here for a week in a junior suite and had a marvellous time. The atmosphere at the resort is something we've never experienced before

Best Airbnb I've found in Thailand. Simple, easy bungalows either on the beach, or in the garden courtyard. The owner & staff are absolutely amazing and I felt like I was part of the family from the first night I stayed

Mrs Bobby (the owner) was present and around the hotel everyday, very kind and helpful. You can see the beach from your patio and they keep the place tidy at all times

Night swimming in the sea is great!!! The houses are clean, towels and bed linen are snow-white, the bed is comfortable. Beach towels and a safe are available

The beach is clean, umbrellas and sun loungers from the hotel (not really needed by anyone))), the sea is perfect, there are large stones at the bottom (but you can easily go around them)

We were on the second floor with a small balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the beach was just steps away—it was truly perfect! The staff was lovely and very welcoming

And the beach… beautiful and spotlessly clean! We absolutely loved everything about it and will definitely stay there again on our next visit

Quiet, secluded, almost no one on the beach

In the shower there is a powerful flow-through water heater, giving an excellent pressure of hot water!! Local cats and dogs are present on the territory, extremely cute and friendly (food for them can be bought at 7eleven, which is 10 steps away

Beautiful beach. The water is so calm, perfect for swimming and jet skiing. And you can see Ko Pha Ngan Island right opposite( Tte full moon festival's island).

Very nice beach on the north side of Koh Samui. The sand on the beach feels very soft and there are plenty of palm trees along the beach. It is possible to rent jet skis here also

Lovely quiet beach with a nice view of Koh Pha-ngan on the horizon. It's a beautiful and quiet part of Koh Samui. It's only a bit far from where everything happens on the island.

Their house white wine was a sauvignon blanc, and that is fabulous! Beautiful view sitting there having a few delicious libations. Kept jumping into the ocean for a quick swim since the water is warm

Easy parking on the side of the road, dropped by to try out the loaded teas for the first time. Was not disappointed i had the pineapple breeze. Nice lovely staff

Stopped by to use the sunbeds while on Lamai Beach. The staff were very friendly. Treated me well the whole day I was there. I ordered some food which tasted great and was good value

It's just far away from the bustle of town that you don't hear all the noise and yet it's a 2 minute walk to restaurants and bars. The hotel has nice beachfront with a bar on the beach

And again, the beach is not too busy here. The staff were great - very friendly and polite, and helped with anything we needed. The room was a little dated and disappointing

Service, food, and cocktails were acceptable. Place is nothing special but it was nice to spend the day on the beach

Just note that the beach nearby has coarse, gravelly sand, and you have to walk through the ferry terminal to get there. This would be a good choice if you prefer a pool anyway

Left suitcases at reception and asked for towels until 4pm to use either by the pool or the beach but was told no. I even suggested using the towels from the room which were similar to beach towels but was told no

Well located, near the port, in case you have to take the ferry soon. There are several restaurants and a 7 eleven nearby. The beach is next door and is very beautiful.

Our little cabin was great! The air conditioning worked well and quickly. We had enough room to organize our belongings. The property was under construction- didn’t bother us- we appreciate that they were improving it
