Hotels with beach in Ko Samui

The only thing I could say was the beach was a little rocky, the pool was great tho. We would definitely come back if we ever come to Samui again!!!

Everything was wonderful, and I plan to return in a few months. The location is ideal for travelers who prefer a peaceful and relaxing environment

The view from my room was stunning, with beautiful beach and sunset scenery. There is a 7-Eleven conveniently located across the street, and the Thai restaurant next to the hotel (I forgot the name) serves amazing food

Super relaxing 2 night stay at The Beach. After 10 days travelling through Vietnam we were in need of relaxation and The Beach didn't disappoint

Just keep in mind that it's located in a quiet part of the island, though there are plenty of restaurants nearby and even a 7-Eleven right across the street

Location is great, quiter part of chaweng beach but short ride from the main nightlife ( about a 20mins walk). Rooms nice size, clean, maids came daily to ensure all was ok

all staff friendly and spoke relatively good english. Breakfast served overlooking the beautiful beach. Infinity pool which was huge and clean

I have stayed in a few resorts in samui and they were definitely 5 star but the samui beach resort gets a 4 star rating because its beads are like concrete and rooms are very small

Very bad services, the hotel is calm but its quite dirty, their in room towels are greyed out from being old, their room service is like a home cleaner not a hotel!, breakfast is horrible, not fresh and they removed the food as soon as we reached though we had 1 hour left!! The front desk staff are friendly

Their swimming pool is pretty and the nice thing was it was right in front of the beach (maybe a 100m walk)

Could not have had a better stay at the hotel. The staff are so attentive and helpful, the room was absolutely incredible (even got a free upgrade), the food was delicious and the cocktails very well made

Excellent choice for families. We brought our 7 months old baby and the staffs were very accommodating and even allowed us for early checked in.   The staffs there were very friendly throughout our stay

We contacted the reception team on WhatsApp and they acted immediately and went out of their way to help us and made sure to send it by ferry and with a courier to the hotel on Koh Phangan where we are

It was not The Biggest breakfast selection we had in thailand but you can easily find food that fits your taste. The biggest Infinitiv Pool i ever saw. And an Amazing view to Koh Pangan

Admittedly the room could have been cleaner - bed and bathroom was clean however floor needed a mop. The resort itself is very pretty with access to the beach and a decent pool. Breakfast is available but we never had it

As for the location, the hotel, both in terms of Beach road or the beach itself, for me it is the best one. Certainly I would stay there once again if the prices were similar to what I paid this time

For the price, Chaweng Resort is the best in Chaweng beach north side

My stay took place during a period of very low occupancy, so some hotel services were not working, such as beach facilities, or working with limitations such as the restaurant/bar

Not expensive hotel, first line. Checked in at 8am no problem, breakfast was good. The sea is gorgeous, 2 pools, enough sunbeds. I will definitely come back again.

Chef Anne’s food is exquisite , beautiful breakfast and lunches. I will dream of the fried rice with chicken for many many months after I leave this beautiful resort

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Zara Beach Resort, Koh Samui! We had an amazing time at Zara Beach Resort, it truly exceeded all our expectations! Even though it’s officially a 3-star resort, the experience felt like a 5-star stay thanks to the incredible people who run it

The restaurant is also great, they serve delicious fresh cocktails and iced coffee. The pool area is really nice, and the beach is just a short walk away. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer

The hotel manager was always available, ready to give advice or help with taxi services and activities. Overall, Zara Beach Resort is a comfortable, well-located place

I had a great stay at Zara Beach Resort. The location is perfect, the beach is right in front and there’s a massage salon just around the corner

There are also many beach bars and places to go out within walking distance, so it’s easy to enjoy both relaxing and going out

A big night market is nearby with lots of food options and a bar that has live music, which made the evenings really fun. I stayed in Villa number 2, which was very spacious and had a beautiful sea view

It’s a nice quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the main ***** in Chaweng. It has a lovely corner of the beach to itself, which is great for relaxing. I highly recommend here.

Location right on the beach, room dated but fine for a 2 night stay

Unfortunately it's also a pretty shabby looking places, the bathroom was frankly disgusting, and on more than one occasion the bathroom ceiling leaked liquid like a waterfall, as though the person above was overflowing a running bath

This happened even after staff came to fix it one night. The staff are really nice and the housekeeping team are good, it just really needs a full renovation

Overall it's a really mixed experience. The room was comfortable, and the AC adequate

I had a great time staying here. I liked the breakfast; you could choose what you want to eat. I liked the swimming pool at the beach. Near beach, shops, pharmacy and restaurants. All staff is helpful and friendly.

Every day we received fresh water bottles and two sets of towels – one for the bathroom and one for the beach. A truly relaxing holiday – we would definitely come back!

The resort is right on Maenam beach. Spacious room and clean with access to a nice pool as well.

Close to shops and resturants. Fisherman's Village is approx 10 min taxi. We had a superior beachfront bungalow with an amazing view of the beach and sea

Rooms are spotless and the housekeeping do go above and beyond for you. There is a small pool and just right if you don't like to sea. I would recommend to stay here as its lovely and quiet

Great cottages, good breakfast. But there is no direct access to the sea (down to the water by stairs), you can't walk along the beach.

The morning atmosphere is very good. The staff gives good advice but most of them speak English more than Thai. The room is clean, the bed is soft, and the TV can watch everything better than many hotels

Enjoyed lovely early morning swims across the bay ( I am a long distance swimmer so it was great from this point of view, down some steps and you are into deepish water to start your swim)

I was suppose to write a better post and never did and I feel bad. This is a great vacation spot with beautiful beaches and a great attentive staff. This place had great food and recommendations for day trips

Nice and cozy hotel near the beach. It is located a bit outside chaweng town centre which is nice for a laid back holiday!

We got married here on July 7th 2004. We went back to visit in 2016 and found that it hadn't changed much at all. Very quiet but the beach really is a Coral Bay so be careful!

Beautiful hotel with three smaller pools, all of which are available for use. Most rooms are in the second or third row from the beach, except for rooms 501-505, which are directly at the beach

We took a car, drove around the island and made sure - our beach is the best. Clean, good depth, minimum people. Nearby there are a lot of places to eat with different prices

Rooms can be rented for 28k per month. The beach is nice, but there are only few loungers and the materials are old

Dogs were barking a lot, and the gardener was working with a lawnmower or something similar, making a lot of noise. Cats were in and around the pool beds and were relieving themselves two meters from us in the garden.

Such a nice beach without so much people and the hotel beach has the best sunset view in the entire Koh Samui. The service is quite normal but the hotel is perfect on its own way

This is a quiet place overall with little traffic, few people, few stray dogs, no crowds whatsoever, no beach vendors, no hustle and bustle! Lovely! It's easy to walk or go by a scooter to 7/11 and other restaurants nearby, or to travel by taxi to other places on the island for shopping, excursions and activities, more restaurants, more beaches

Hotel rooms were beautiful, very well equipped with all toiletries , slippers , flip flops , beach towels etc. Very little choice for breakfast and hot food was generally cold

Lots of potential but old and definitely not 4 stars. The location is beach front but no good sea to swim in. Tha rooms are huge and cleaned daily but it are old and not pampering

WOW, what an amazing place to stay!!! Harry's Bungalow far exceeded my expectations! I booked this place as it is 5 minutes walk from the pier and thought it would be a good place for me and my parents to relax before we leave Koh Samui

When we checked in, we had terrible wifi. Once we brought it up to the hotel, the staff rectified it right away and offered another room to make our stay more comfortable. Being in the hotel is like a little oasis

The gardens and the library above the waterfall with koi fish pond was such a surprise! The pool was wonderful also. The hotel is located close to all the restaurants, massages and shops in town

Amazing experience to enjoy a beach side dinner at your great resort. Although we didn’t stay here, we booked a private sunset dinner on the beach. The arrangement was amazing and the service and food was a perfect match

After contacting the manager, we were able to arrange a beautiful beach diner. The decoration and setup was genuinely stunning. We celebrated our engagement during this diner

But you can rent at scooter and go to a more active area. We had a beachfront bungalow. Were moved to a better one when the manager heard a nice. There is only air conditioning in the sleeping room

This hotel did vi pick, because we had to meet up with some the day after. It is good older hotel, close to the beach. It is a very calm area and there is nothing around it

This place is nice enough, with a great pool next to the sea, but location is poor as there isn't much else around, you really need a scooter, staff need customer service training, not like most Thai people.

Lipa Bay Resort is a perfect getaway spot, and the Pool Vibes restaurant makes it even better. The sunset views are breathtaking, creating an unforgettable atmosphere

The hotel had an infinity pool facing the sea which kind of adds up to all the flaws. The food here is amazing try green Thai curry and Massaman curry wow

The entrance to the sea opposite the hotel is rocky; you have to walk a few meters to the left to safely enter the water. Sunbeds and towels on the beach are free, but the staff starts cleaning them at 4:30 PM

The staff were so friendly and very helpful with information we needed to get about. The restaurant served delicious food. As the hotel was on the beach we had free loungers and gave us beach towels as well

We stayed 5 night at the resort. The resort is situated along many high end hotels, We had a family room which had 5 beds, we found the room to be clean and adequate. The real selling point is the distance to the beach

The restaurant as many of the other reviews have mention was amazing. Food was delicious and the fire show spectacular

The view of the yachts and villas is stunning. The restaurant served an outdated menu with high prices, so we ended up going to the next one, which was a bit more expensive but had excellent service and a great menu

Not only is the resort incredibly beautiful with impeccable hospitality and delicious food, it’s a DEAL! Just next door to a much much more expensive private house rental that does weddings, you get the same private beach for a serious fraction of the cost
