The receptionist was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. When I arrived, she was busy talking loudly in a group chat on her phone. She didn’t even look at me or greet me. I said “hello” and got no response at all—she just pointed her hand to ask for my passport. Even after returning it and giving me the room key, she continued shouting into her phone.
My room was on the 7 or 6th floor, and there was no elevator, which was very inconvenient. The room itself was very old and poorly maintained. The air conditioning was terrible—it took 3–4 hours for the room to feel slightly cooler. I also noticed small insects in the room.
I travel very often, and this is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you have any other option, I strongly recommend not booking this hotel.

However, during the rainy season, the area can get flooded 😭 (though thankfully, the water drains quite fast).
What I didn’t like was the bed—it was quite hard, and I could feel the springs, which made it uncomfortable to sleep.
On a positive note, the Burmese receptionist was friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a decent budget option if you’re not too picky and want to stay near the busy areas.
