Destination Patong in Patong

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. We arrived on time but were made to wait outside the room as it wasn’t ready yet. The rooms are very old and dirty- the towels and curtains were torn, bedsheets were stained and everything felt very unhygienic. The bathroom is too small and not convenient to use- there is not enough leg space as the commode is just close to the wall. The basin is also very small. There is no separate shower space and the entire washroom gets watery when the shower is used. There is no elevator in the hotel so we had to carry our heavy luggages. The only good thing about this hotel is the it is close to patong beach.
Overall we had a very negative experience. athere are much better hotels in similar or lower price ranges. We felt like we were scammed.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING other than the location is good about this hotel. They charged more than what a premium 3 star hotel does and provided the worst service. The entire premise was dirty, the rooms were dirtier somehow. There were no amenities inside. The checkin time was 2 pm. We arrived at 3 and still the room wasn’t ready and they cleaned it with us standing outside the room. They took a 1000 baht deposit for the room which i have never seen before. There were spots on the bedsheet, the curtains were torn and dirty. The rooms were just not maintained. You can get far better deals than this

Please do not even think about this place, if you cant climb stairs, this is not for you!
We stayed one night, due to late arrival from Australia.
The rooms are tiny, dirty, bed was comfy, holes in walls, blind to window was broken, floors dirty and shower and toilet looked like it hadnt even been cleaned.

**SCAM WARNING – Stay Away From This Hotel**

This hotel operates in a very dishonest and unprofessional manner. We booked a *2 queen-size bed room* through Agoda, but upon arrival, the staff immediately claimed that our reservation *did not exist* in their system. They did **not bother to check properly** and made no effort to investigate further. Later, it became clear that *Agoda had booked the room through another third-party provider*, something the hotel staff themselves seemed *unaware of* or unwilling to understand.

Instead of resolving the issue, the *female receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive*, while the *male receptionist at least attempted to listen*, though no real solution was offered. Despite our *original room being visibly empty*, they *refused to give it to us* and insisted the booking was invalid. After *nearly four hours of arguing*, we were forced to pay an *additional 5,000 baht* just to get a room—*not the one we originally booked*, but a *random, inferior room with one bed*. This completely *ruined our day* and disrupted our travel plans in Patong.

The hotel itself is *old and poorly maintained*, and the rooms are *nothing like the photos shown online*. The *bathrooms and balconies are extremely small*, and only *a few rooms actually have a beach view*. The building feels *unsafe*, with *doors that do not have proper locks*. Overall, the staff seem *clueless about their own booking system* and more focused on *extracting money from tourists* than providing honest service.

New and clean room. Nice ambience and the beach was just across the street. Surrounded with different Restaurants, bars, massage parlour and convenient stores. It's also very near to the famous 'Bangla Walking Street'. But we had a very bad experience with the female manager of the hotel. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She seemed very lazy to meet our needs. The hotel is a 4 storey building and it didn't have an elevator. So when we requested for extra towel or mineral water, she bluntly told us to come down and take it by ourselves. She also asked us not to call the reception but instead come down straight to the reception if we need anything. We were also told to surrender our room keys if we were to leave to hotel for shopping. But we refused cause we had some valuables and she demanded us to pay extra for refusing. But we somehow talked through it. Apart from that, the other 2 male receptionist were very friendly and helpful with all our needs.

This host continues to message me after leaving a negative review. His listing was inaccurate and the host Kekin has threatened me and harassed me. I would not recommend this hotel based on other reviews along with my own personal experience. Thailand is beautiful, but please be aware that not all listings are accurate. Book at your own risk - the pictures listed do NOT represent what the rooms look like. Also - rooms smell like cigarette smoke - and mold is present (black). Pictures to come when I return to the states.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Air BnB was gracious enough to consider this posting mid-classification after showing them the pictures of such a grimey - dirty place. The bathroom was filled with dried urine stains all over the toilet - rust also. The sink was rusted and the shower had no curtain or door. Not to mention - the bathroom was rusted and had grime everywhere. I can’t tell you when the last time it was cleaned. Even air bnb support agreed it was disgusting. Past the bathroom - the inside of the refrigerator was molded (black). There were stains and holes in the linen. The room was damp and smelled of mildew. Not to add - the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was truly disappointing and the nastiest air bnb ive ever stayed in. The host - or lack thereof - would not allow us into a clean room. My friend and I slept in hoodies and a pair of sweats - just to feel somewhat clean. The air bnb was listed as Mis-classification by the air bnb support team after sending them pictures and videos of this place. I read the reviews prior to coming and thought it would be great - I’m super simple and easy to please. It was a true disappointment and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I was fully refunded my money based on their inaccurate listing. Until they are able to change their pictures - and description - to reflect accuracy in the property they shouldn’t per air bnb be allowed to host. The host was not very informative. He took us to our room and gave us the key to get in. He also showed us the pool - but it had hair and dirt in it so we decided against it. It’s also a salt water pool. Outside of that - our taxi driver passed this place 3 different times as the main (only) entrance is located through an alley - but BEWARE. There is an infected stray dog that lives there too. We tried to ask for direction - however - the host was slow to respond to our air bnb messages. Also - the front desk was not manned and also the host was not very accommodating. Seriously the place was disgusting. Think boutique hotel - you should know it is more of a hostel. The most disgusting place I’ve stayed in Thailand. ALSO - once we reported the inaccurate listing to air bnb - the host acted in an unprofessional manner and sent me a personal message stating that I was a scammer. Pretty sure I’m not a scammer for the listing of your price. I’ve traveled from the USA and have been all throughout Thailand. We are corporate professionals - not broke backpackers. The location is not beach front. It’s alley front. It faces buildings. Not the beach. I’d never book here again or with this host. The value is horrible and so is the place. I honestly wish I could post the pictures and videos! I will be reviewing on any other sites as well for future travelers.
