It's in the desert, so it's nice to have a place to rest. The facilities are relatively old, but they are actually very good in the local area. The air conditioning, hot water and toilets all work normally, and there is also wifi. The breakfast is filling and the swimming pool is good for swimming. It is very convenient to set off to visit the Sahara Desert and is recommended to those who come here

Avoid hotels that cannot be cancelled. Do not make reservations unless necessary. Otherwise, you will lose money without negotiation. Hotel business in Tunisia is very slow now. You can find accommodation in minutes.

The hotel is great, set in a seaside location. The palm trees and swimming pool area looks stunning. The food is excellent with choice of huge selections. Matured trees and exotic plants create a beautiful atmosphere. On the flip side, the lift needs upgrading and the rooms need renovation. The location is a bit far from Sousse shopping area. Overall, it is a great place for relaxing.

Marhaba Palace is a lovely hotel and we had a truly special experience during our first visit to Tunisia. The hotel is large and well-equipped, with many guests and beautiful decorations. The room is spacious with a balcony and a separate shower and toilet. However, the sink was a bit clogged and the showerhead wasn’t in great condition. The hand soap bottle was also empty (oops). Old hotel with poor maintenance. Location ok, nice beach in front. At the reception I found a not very welcoming lady, who looked me up and down. The hotel environment is first-class and the sea view room price is very favorable. It is recommended to stay. The only unpleasant thing is that when checking in, the receptionist insists that you send him a confirmation email for the reservation. This is very strange. No hotel has such a requirement, and giving him a screenshot of the reservation is not enough.

We witnessed staff creating relationships with the guests through Facebook, telling them how poorly they are paid, getting into online relationships when the guests have left and then asking /begging for money. The last day the room was not cleaned at all and we even did not have towels. This is not acceptable for a 4star hotel.

Exceptional experience at this hotel! The staff, waiters, the beach, security, everything was truly amazing. Never had issues finding a spot at the table to eat, never had issues finding a spot on the beach, good location close to the city, easy to get around. Lovely people of Tunisia, we had a great time at Occidental.

Currently at The Djerba Golf Resort and Spa hotel and myself and my gf are loving it here. We have a lovely room, the staff are wonderful and the food is varied and plentiful. Can't find any faults at all with this hotel

Just back from a week at Djerba Golf and cannot fault it. We swapped at the last min after our original choice had building work and were not disappointed. The hotel is very clean and staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with daily maid service. Public areas clean and well maintained. Didn't use pool as it was early season and a bit cold but it was cleaned...

Hotel is good, food is okay, people are very nice. Animation team is good and funny. Overall nice experience, we might be back in the future.

My partner and I stayed for 11 nights, both had a very enjoyable time, very nice food and staff, the entertainment team were great and by the end of our holiday we felt like we were leaving behind good friends Thanks you a for everything!

My partner and I had a great time at this hotel. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team are so lovely and always made sure we were happy, especially Youba. We had such a great time dancing with them and watching their shows. The food range is excellent and very good quality. Plenty of sun beds around the pool and at the beach. Beautiful, well-kept grounds and white sandy...

It was great fun. There was a lot of dancing thanks to the animators. I had a really nice time there. Very nice and friendly people
