Hotel BFC Spa & Sport in Bursa

The hotel is unfortunately rather dated and poorly maintained. The rooms are generally well-equipped, but very noisy, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired – everything was quite dusty and in some places dirty. The atmosphere in the lobby was somewhat odd. Breakfast was adequate and acceptable. It's a shame, really, because the hotel has a lot of potential.

I stayed in this hotel from 26th july - 29th july. Everything was more or less acceptable. That means, I got every day the same breakfast... French fries for breakfast as side dish...not a healthy choice, isn't it? Nevermind. Or, at the end, this is a Sport hotel? They should take care of my healthy breakfast...

The level of English they speak...well...that is something I do not want to comment. When something is non existing, it is not possible to discuss about, right?

Okay, at the end this also does not matter, because as a well experienced business traveler I will make understandable and explain and express myself with my arms, legs, drawings.

The situation is the following: When I arrived, the guy/girl on the reception immediately asked me to pay my room. When I paid, I got only a slip confirmation that my card was charged, they did not even give me the slip after I paid. It was not a problem as I asked them to make a company invoice. They told me that they will need the company details and then they will make it.

After I took a shower and went to the restaurant (in the hotel) to have my dinner, I gave them the details of the company I work forin the hope that I can get the invoice, but they told me that when I am going to check out, they will make it. Eww, okay, anyway, I was not in hurry.

But the D-DAY has come. The day of my inglorious check out. In the morning I went to have the same breakfast I had every day, but before, I paid the extras (drinks from the mini bar, extra drinks from the restaurant....). I told them that I do not need invoice for this, as it was my personal "joy", I only need the invoice for the overnight staying in the hotel. And then I went to have my breakfast. When I packed my luggage, and went to the reception to gave back the "key" for my room, I asked them for the invoice. Do you think they gave me?

No, they did not. As I was in hurry, and my colleagues are/were from Bursa, I thought they will come back later the day and will take my invoice. Wish that could happen! Actually, they gave an invoice where they pt my name and not the company details, plus on top of that they sum the amount I paid (company debit card) for the overnight staying with the extras I paid (personal debit card). That would be also not a problem, if they would be able to correct it. But they could not.

They are so incompetent that they did not reply on my email I sent them a month ago. Me and my colleagues called them thousand times, sent them messages and emails, but they are not able to correct their invoice, they are not replying. In the beginning of our conversation they stated that they gave me the invoice when I checked out. Well, that is quite contradictional as:

1) If they gave me the invoice, why would I ask to get it again and
2) If they gave me the correct invoice I would not ask them to send me the corrected one

Very rude behaviour, next time if I have to stay in Bursa and this will be the only one hotel I can sleep, well then I will rather sleep in my car then in BFC hotel.

ps: on the check out day the receptionist wonam told me with a smile on her face that they hope that they will get a nice review from me. Well, here it is. Nothing personal, just the truth.

BUSINESS TRAVELERS do not come here. Keep out.

This hotel is not a zero open buffet in terms of cleanliness and breakfast. They give 3-5 olives and a few greens, so to speak. You don't have a chance to ask for anything extra. The bathroom is filthy, I don't know what to say so you don't come back. But I would like to express my special thanks to Mr. Halil at the reception. But it is not a hotel to be recommended, but rather a hostel style mentality.

Very bad cleaning service. Room is very dirty even after someone clean it. I advise you to stay away from this hotel if you are a clean person.
