Konak Saray Hotel in Izmir

Affordable but the bathroom smells bad (humidity and black mold), no hot water at all, poor quality breakfast, the area around the hotel is so dirty and not safe, nobody change the towels or clean anything. Absolutely not recommended, pay more and stay in a better place!

Hello everyone. Think 100 times before booking this hotel. I was there for a week, but it was a nightmare. The reviews on other sites, like ******* or ***********, are completely different. The furniture is old and not like the kind you'd find in Germany. The bathroom faucets are rusted, the toilet won't flush, and once you press the button, the lid won't come back up. There was hair everywhere, and the toilet seat was in the bed. Oh my God, it's so awful, I have to repeat it all for you. We changed rooms four times. Room 103 was the worst. The neighbors in the other rooms had a huge row for almost two hours. It was so loud, even reaching reception. During the night, they said we'd get another room in a different hotel, but that never happened. Practically speaking, you have no choice but to change rooms. Each one is worse than the last.
