The staff was really nice, the rooms are small but clean and well decorated. It is very well located with some restaurants arounds, and the breakfast is great as well! Had a lovely time there.

The hotel is located in a good location near the Laleli market. However, I do not recommend the hotel itself, and I will explain why. The reception staff are friendly, but they try to deceive visitors. The breakfast kitchen is very small and very cold there. The room we were given was very small, the window did not close completely, the carpet was dirty, all the linens in the bathroom were old, and there were no toiletries except shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. The room had a TV, refrigerator, safe, kettle, and tea accessories. We spent one night in this room and got sick because the wind was blowing from the window. When we asked the reception to change our room, they changed us with great difficulty, but the safe in the other room did not work. When we asked to extend our stay for two days, the manager at the reception offered us an inflated price for a hotel room; in fact, this hotel room cost 2.5 times more. less than we were offered to pay for it. We found a more prestigious hotel near Laleli, where we were completely satisfied with everything.

Rooms are really really small and hard to share with anyone else. Definitely not 4-5 class, more like 2-3 for your BASIC needs and just a place to stay for sleeping and to be closer to tourist destinations. You can definitely hear the beautiful prayer calls throughout the day, and music/entertainment at night that’s ongoing even with windows closed. You will hear people in the hallway. The hotel is very small although the images make them look larger. Double room is 2 twin beds and not double. You need to pay to access the spa and book an appointment (private for family) which is nice to have to
yourself. No Kleenex in room and amenities so bring your own washroom supplies and essentials. Literally the motel is just for a place to sleep and pass through with your travels so do not expect anything out of the extreme for your stay.

If you value your comfort, safety, sanity, or basic human dignity, avoid Danis Hotel like it’s a public health warning.
This place is a masterclass in how not to run a hotel.
The rooms are the size of a walk-in closet, and somehow still manage to feel cheap, cramped, and depressing. I was placed here as part of a medical recovery package after major surgery — and let me tell you, nothing about this place is remotely fit for a patient or even a healthy person.
There are no ice machines, and the “refrigerators” in the rooms could barely chill a glass of water. When I explained I needed a working fridge for my medication and post-op care, the staff shrugged like I had asked them to perform open-heart surgery themselves.
I tried filling a water bottle in the restaurant area and was told I’d have to pay for filtered water, spoken to like I was asking for liquid gold, not hydration after surgery.
The TVs? Pure decoration. They don’t work. Don’t bother asking them to fix it — they can’t.
Opening your room door is like walking into a nicotine-scented punch to the face. Cigarette smoke floods the hallways, seeping under your door like a bad omen.
Let’s talk towels:
There are no face towels at this hotel. I tore a tiny corner from a towel to soothe a surgical incision, and the front desk acted like I vandalized the Hagia Sophia. They called my room, irate, demanding money for a “damaged towel,” and then the man at the desk literally blocked my path to the elevator in a passive-aggressive power trip.
That alone should tell you everything you need to know about the culture of this place.
This hotel sits in a rigidly conservative area where warmth and hospitality apparently came to die. If you’re an international traveler, post-op patient, or someone who doesn’t speak Turkish, prepare to fend for yourself. There is no compassion, no intention to help, no service mentality whatsoever.
If you want actual hospitality?
Go to the Asian side.
It’s a different universe — people there treat you like a human being, not an inconvenience.

During our visit to Turkey, we stayed at Danis Hotel. The hotel has a very good location, which made it easy to move around and visit the main areas. However, our room had a view only of the wall of the neighboring building, so there was nothing to see from the window. At night, there was also loud noise coming from the air-conditioning units of the other building, which made it difficult to sleep. The room was very hot and uncomfortable, and it was also smaller than we had expected. Overall, the rooms definitely do not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.
On the positive side, the room was very clean and the housekeeping team was extremely friendly, which we truly appreciated.

A disappointing stay
Our room felt like a sauna… except the actual sauna wasn’t. It was so hot in the room we couldn’t sleep, and reception’s only solution was: “Turn on the AC, the heating is centralized.”
Using AC in November? Brilliant idea, very eco friendly, right?
As “compensation”, we got a spa session — but the sauna was at 40°C. After 40 minutes it reached 55°C, and right when it finally started warming up, we were asked to leave because our time was up. For the record, a real sauna starts at 70–80°C.
They did not anticipate our spa session at all.
Cleanliness? Also questionable. We found an old pair of socks and a hair clip on the carpet from previous guests.
Overall: hot room, cold sauna, not so great comfort. Would not recommend.

The hotel not as picture it’s old even every additional services like spa and other services they ask additional fee even for drink water in room the ask additional fee 😁I already reserve in turkey different hotels but no one hotels ask every available service extra fee
