1. The location is incredibly convenient – the hotel is within walking distance of museums, a park, mosques, and the tram. There's ample public parking nearby.

Breakfast at The Ritus Hotel Istanbul is quite unique, featuring primarily traditional Turkish flavors with limited Western options. The coffee isn't great, but with that breathtaking Black Sea view, all flaws become insignificant.

Beautiful hotel but rooms are very very small, and if you get a ground floor room it can be quite noisy. That being said the staff are wonderful and very helpful and amenities are new.

The hotel is newly opened for 3 months. The rooms are clean and tidy. There is a welcome dessert cart when you check in. The pomegranate juice and orange juice Turkish coffee are pleasant. The breakfast experience is great, and there are special snacks and the stories behind them. It is within walking distance from attractions such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. You can take the airport bus Havaist11 from IST International Airport to the terminal station, which is the center of the old European city of Sultanahmet. It takes 8-9 minutes to walk to the hotel. The price of the airport bus has been rising. It is 275 lira for the outbound trip and 315 lira for the return trip. You can buy a round-trip ticket online for 440 lira. I am not sure whether the limit of 3 days for the outbound trip and 30 days for the return trip will change at any time. Just accept this Turkish price policy when you go there.

Excellent small hotel in the heart of Old Istanbul. Just a few steps away from the Grand Bazaar, Blue and Sophia Mosques, Basilica Cistern and stone away from the promenade along the Marmara Sea, this hotel is the perfect stay to explore Old Istanbul. It is also a short ride from the new District and the Asian side of the city, where there are also a few interesting places to visit. The hotel staff were most helpful, friendly and professional. Love how they blend tradition with the overall stay experience. One area I must comment on, the rooms with Balconies are the best, modern but a bit small. Hence, my 4 star.

We had such a good stay at Hotel Ritus! Every single staff member was so kind and welcoming, and attentive to whatever we needed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The major sites like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are all within easy walking distance. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Istanbul.

We stayed in the twin room with my daughter. The hotel is extremely clean and luxurious. The room was a bit small but convenient. Breakfast and service is 10/10. Thank you to all the staff including reception, Irem, Rojin and Ummu. Would highly recommend. Hotel next door has a roof top restaurant with amazing views. If you’re looking for a clean classy boutique hotel this is the one you should choose. They provide daily free water and have a unique ancient Roman style welcome experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The attention to detail in the hotel was amazing, all the art works and rituals are fantastic. The staff, including the lady on reception who welcomed us, Hadas, the male that walked us to the spa next door to help with our booking and Umy the house keeper. We loved this gorgeous boutique hotel and the location was fabulous. The staff were exceptional.

Honestly… the best hotel experience in Istanbul so far for me was exactly at this one. Beautiful little gem. Sophisticated in every detail. Premium location guarantees you romantic nighty walks in historical Istanbul. Rooms are tiny but offer EVERYTHING… more than you need incl all necessary amenities. And the people working there are super attentive, kind, gentle and welcoming. Everything with good taste! Plus you’ll get a welcome drink and sweet snacks upon check in 🤗

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL
Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
