But I don’t think the pictures of the rooms reflects reality. The room was like a shoebox and not with the space that’s seen on the pictures.
Hotel is super close to Karakoy Metro and Tunel- Funicular Station (just steps down) - perfect for hitting Beyoglu, Istiklal, and Taksim (10mins away) 😄. Only bummer: if you're coming from the airport, you'll need to switch at Sishane station and walk down (not exactly trolley-friendly 😬).
However, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re traveling solo. I ended up in a tiny room that couldn’t have been more than 5 square meters. It felt more like a storage closet than a hotel room. The window faced a minuscule inner courtyard (if you can even call it that), with a big pipe running across it—not exactly the view you dream of in Istanbul.
So: charming place, wonderful staff, but unless you’re a hobbit or enjoy sleeping in shoeboxes, maybe look elsewhere if you’re going solo.
