The most memorable part of our experience was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. We were greeted every time we passed through the lobby, and they went above and beyond to help us—booking our taxi to the airport and even mailing my postcards! Special shoutout to the lovely young woman with glasses at the front desk and the friendly bellboy—you both made our stay extra special. We truly loved the people here.
Second, the breakfast was amazing! We highly recommend including breakfast in your stay. Although there was a small mix-up on our first day, it was resolved quickly and professionally. The Turkish breakfast spread is a feast—we found ourselves skipping lunch most days because it was so filling and delicious! The highlight? The waffle and clotted cream and honey dip—absolutely unforgettable. I'm already missing it as I write this!
If I had to point out one downside, it would be the cleanliness of the towels. A few times, the clean towels had hair tangled in them. It didn’t seem to be a room service issue, but possibly something from the laundry service—worth bringing to their attention.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. From the staff to the food to the film history, it was an unforgettable stay.
