Emin Residence in Istanbul

1) There was no electricity in our room. When we reported it, we were asked to wait half an hour. Without power and in a stuffy room, it was very uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the receptionist at the front desk was busy with his own business and was simply stalling for time. After the third request, he got up and turned on the breaker in one second. 2) The room was overheated due to the lack of electricity and the air conditioning being off. We checked in late and just wanted to get to bed before an early morning layover. The air conditioner is in the kitchen and only works when the windows in all the rooms are closed. This means there's no way to air out the room, and the wait for the air conditioner is long. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 3) They don't have a receipt from the cash register, only a piece of paper with the amount handwritten! This means the hotel is not suitable for business stops. I've never seen anything like this. 4) There are no 24-hour shops nearby, and at the early cafe, they don't speak English at all and don't want to.
