- next to the hotel there is a destroyed building and opposite-abandoned. despite the fact of good position,it was terribly scary after sunset. the room I was given was not like in the photo and looked like old storage room,the window was into the stairs. From about 5am each morning there was a rooster,when I came to reception the girl said nothing could be changed with that. the teapot was not included and the one I was given was broken and small and very uncomfortable. So therefore it was not good at all. the food was too simple too,for a vegetarian almost nothing to choose from

The staff was friendly and attentive. However, the cleanliness of the room could be improved, as the shower and floor were not completely clean from the first day. Additionally, there were some noises in the ceiling that seemed to come from unwanted animals. Overall, the stay was acceptable, with room for improvement.

Hotel was in some back alley. Very dark. Lobby was a group of men just smoking. Hotel smelt like cigarettes and cat urine
We had to leave the second night as I am asthmatic and started coughing
Headboards in room was filthy, door didn’t lock properly

The pictures shown don’t match the actual appearance of the hotel — for example, the beds and rooms are different. Also, people smoke inside. Overall, it’s not a good hotel in terms of cleanliness, rooms, beds, and so on.

Located in a port area of the city. The building from the outside is falling apart and there is garbage everywhere. There is no insulation between the walls so you can hear EVERYTHING going on in your neighbours rooms. It says no smoking but the room always smelled like fresh smoke making it difficult to sleep. Bring earplugs if you do decide to stay here.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was small and dirty, and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. When I told the receptionist that the bedsheet was very dirty, he just said, “Here is Istanbul,” instead of trying to help or fix the problem. I felt very uncomfortable and disappointed with the service. I do not recommend this hotel.

Excellent staff, really friendly and great English. Super close to all metro lines. Great location for exploring the old city, real reasonable rates. Walk right out the door and into a shopping district with lots of options for eating.

Staff was excellent, breakfast was so traditional, the room was not cleaning every day , the area was so nice especially the shops and other transportation was so close . I recommend it not five star but fair . Any how I wanna thank the staff, they ware so nice .

Room was filthy. Staff was a mixed bag. Location is good though, easy to get around. But, I can never recommend this place.
