Warning! Do not book this hotel under any circumstances!

At Mia Berre Hotel, two brand-new, sealed packs of cigarettes were stolen from our room, and our suitcase was clearly rummaged through. This alone is unacceptable – but the hotel’s reaction made it even worse:

We immediately reported the incident to the reception. Instead of taking it seriously, they brushed us off. The cleaning lady boldly claimed that the packs were empty (even though they were still factory sealed!) and that she doesn’t smoke. The hotel simply accepted this ridiculous excuse, took no responsibility, offered no apology, and made no attempt to resolve the situation.

Here, theft is covered up instead of protecting the guests. This behavior is disrespectful, unprofessional, and makes you feel unsafe and abandoned.

Conclusion: Stay away from this hotel – brazen, dishonest, and absolutely not trustworthy!

Terrible Experience – Heartless Staff and No Support for a Mother with Children

A mother with two small children — one of them in casts on both feet — was turned away late at night by Mia Berre Hotel in Beşiktaş, despite having a reservation. The staff showed no compassion and refused to help in any way.

She was sent away with no support, no offer of a seat, water, or help finding another place. This kind of treatment is inexcusable. No hotel should behave like this — especially toward a family in such a vulnerable situation.

Extremely disappointing. Avoid if you expect basic human decency.
