We booked a premium room. But it's far from premium. Firstly, the room is extremely cold, the air conditioner is old and barely working, the electrical outlets are sticking out dangerously, and the light fixture is rusty. At night, the room smelled of something unidentifiable. We went out for breakfast, and it was so-so. Everything was old, and the staff didn't even try. We repeatedly mentioned how cold the room was, and they said it was the top floor. And that's it! I don't know why everyone is praising it, but the hotel is definitely not up to par.

We liked the hotel; our room was for three—two full single beds and one double. It's conveniently located three minutes from the metro, and an 8-10-minute walk from the main attractions. Overall, the hotel is in a good, safe location. The rooftop pool is closed in winter, but we used the sauna and pool once, which was very useful after a long day of walking around Istanbul. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of choice. We also went to the Venice restaurant and really enjoyed it. We think we chose the hotel wisely and had a wonderful six-day vacation in Istanbul.

Stayed here in July with my 7yr old son. I found the pictures posted on booking sites to be quite an accurate reflection of the current state of the hotel. The room and bathroom were well kept and tidy as was the rest of the hotel. Good cleaning service each day.

Breakfast was well stocked with multiple food options even during the busier periods.

All the staff I encountered were excellent, friendly and helpful - spoke excellent English.

The outdoor pool is a bonus for a city hotel, although it is quite small with only a handful of loungers so was quite crowded during the day - but we were there in the busy summer period so it's to be expected.

I agree with other reviews that you can here noise from the street during the night - but again it's a city centre so it's to be expected and it personally didn't affect our sleep. My only negative point is that due to the open nature of the internal hotel you can hear noise / banging doors from all floors.

Location is great for exploring the city. A 4 minute walk from the tram stop and about a 20-30 minutes walk from some of the main attraction areas.

Good value for money. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel for the price and very polite staff! The staff was always very polite. The rooms were clean and tidy. I also liked that the cleaning staff was very customer-oriented. They noticed during cleaning that we had bought a couple of coffee bags and gave us more of their own coffee so we wouldn't have to buy more, and they also provided extra cups. The food was excellent. We also had dinner included, which had delicious dishes, but we never managed to finish it all. It was delicious, but a lot. Apparently, someone still eats it. Overall, the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can't hear street noise if the balcony is closed. If it gets too hot, there's air conditioning in the room. There's free Wi-Fi, which is also very important.

I'll start with the cons. The price is steep, about $100 a night. If you have to check out early, you'll have to pack a few extras (an apple, water, juice, and a plain bun). Otherwise, everything is great. The rooms are mostly clean. The staff is attentive. The breakfasts are extensive and delicious. The rooftop pool is a nice bonus. There's a restaurant on the hotel—I recommend it. The Istanbul salad is fantastic.

The hotel is excellent value for money. There's a sauna and a pool, and the breakfast is good. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. They generously checked us in early, helped us with our suitcases, and were always polite. There's a tram nearby, which takes you to the city center in just a couple of minutes. A small drawback is that the restaurant across the street plays music until 11-12 pm, which affects my husband's sleep. However, the rooms facing the courtyard are excellent (we asked the neighbors). The sauna and pool could use some updating, but everything is functionally fine. Overall, we're very happy. It's a good value for money.

Staff were friendly and helpful in resolving a room issue which was dealt with promptly and without inconvenience or fuss. There was a good breakfast selection and we found the hotel location excellent for the old town tourist attractions. The only minor negative was the late night noise from surrounding bars but this is unavoidable in such a central location and was not overall too detrimental to our stay.

1-Star Google Review for Hotel Vicenza, Istanbul

I stayed at Hotel Vicenza and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

The room was only clean on the first day — after that, housekeeping was poor and inconsistent. The breakfast was terrible: old food, the same limited selection every day, and nothing fresh. The spa facilities were also a big letdown. The steam room was closed, there was no gym, and the indoor pool was dirty. Even after they closed it one day "for cleaning," it remained unclean. The sauna smelled awful, and the rooftop pool area was also dirty and poorly maintained.

The music at the rooftop pool was extremely loud, always Turkish songs at full volume — not relaxing at all. The service also got worse the longer I stayed. At first, the staff were polite, but after one day, their attitude changed and became unhelpful.

The restaurant outside the hotel is overpriced and the food was not good. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel — there are much better options in Istanbul at the same price or even cheaper.

Hotel Vicenza – Istanbul Review

Our stay at Hotel Vicenza was wonderful from start to finish. The location is truly unbeatable – right in the heart of Istanbul, with many of the city’s most famous attractions just a short walk away. It made exploring the historic sites and vibrant streets so easy and enjoyable.

The room was the perfect size for a couple – comfortable, well-kept, and thoughtfully arranged. It offered just the right balance of space and coziness, making it a great retreat after a day of sightseeing.

A special mention must go to Zehra from Customer Relations. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was smooth and memorable. Her warm approach made us feel very welcome and well looked after.

Overall, Hotel Vicenza exceeded our expectations. With its ideal location, comfortable rooms, and outstanding service – especially from Zehra – we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
