very close to all the interesting places, only 5 to 15 minutes walk. The tram station is also in front of the hotel. The most interesting thing is that the breakfast terrace on yop with the Hagia Sophia view, so the view in the morning is very beautiful. The room is just small, it doesn't fit luggage, but it's okay if you don't want to stay in the room all day, going out in the morning and coming back at night. Overall good, can stay here again.

Over 15 years ago I have spent my first vacation in this hotel. My experience was overwhelming. I still didn’t forget the warm welcoming, the view over Sultan Ahmed and Agia Sophia and the great breakfast. I’m happy to see that the same family is still running this hotel and welcoming their guests. Looking forward to my next staying there. Thank you!

Rast Hotel is a nice place to stay with a good location. The hotel is comfortable and convenient for exploring the city.
The top restaurant offers a prime view of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, which makes dining there a special experience.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay with both comfort and a great view.

We have just spent 3 nights here and this is a fabulous hotel. The wonderful breakfast is taken in the rooftop restaurant which has amazing views and very helpful staff. The location is so close to all the attractions, we walked and took local transport everywhere which was very convenient. The hotel staff were so attentive and helpful. If we ever come to Istanbul, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff are all very friendly and go good out of the way to help you. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The Hotel is ideally located for exploring all of Istanbul. There is a tram which runs around the city and only a short distance from the hotel. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the daily selection.

This really is the most wonderful place to stay. We felt completely at ease during our stay. The staff were so very kind, helpful and they went above and beyond expectations. The view from the rooftop is exceptional, and you can sit here at any point throughout the day as a hotel guest without having to purchase additional drinks or snacks. Simply wonderful for a mid-afternoon siesta, leisurely read, to watch the world go by. We can only hope to return!

Really pleased with rast hotel. The staff were amazing. Very central location , really convenient to all major sights. Very helpful staff and would consider it again if ever in Istanbul centre again .

An unfortunate set of events led to us contacting the hotel more than 24 hours in advance, seeking a refund or an ability to change the reservation. Rather than respond to the email, they charged us the full amount immediately, with no communication. The reservation was supposed to be charged the day of service. Therefore they are ignoring the request for refund AND charging the fee more than a day in advance.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL
Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
