I got bad experience with the room, the property over book so my room not ready for the first night, but they try to accomodate with other room similar

We’ve stayed for 4 nights and it was really excellent for the price. The staff were really quickly to check us in, provided good travel advice for places to visit and eat. As for the room although not the larger it had all that could be required for a comfortable stay. Bathroom with all the amenities, fresh bedding and towels along with bottled water daily which was a great plus considering it’s not advised to drink tap water. On the penultimate night of our stay we have made use of the SPA facilities. The saunas and swimming pool were a good addition, for me it was excellent as I like a cold plunge after using the sauna but for my travel companion the water was a little too cold. I also had a full body massage and in all honesty it was really good, the masseuse knew exactly which muscles needed the right pressure and in the right places. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a stay especially due to it’s central location and excellent staff.

We stayed at this hotel for the past 3 nights and were very disappointed. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.
We stayed in two different rooms on two different floors. The walls are paper thin (you can hear every conversation from the adjoining rooms and corridor). The WiFi does not work. The bathrooms are poor (things falling off the wall). There is no hot water. The breakfast is very poor, we ate somewhere else. The pillows and beds are rock hard. The swimming pool in the basement is hardly spa quality.
But the worst thing? There is no fire exit or staircase from the rooms on the 3rd floor. Only a lift. Even really basic hotels have this simple level of safety covered!!!
Would really not recommend staying here, in fact would actively encourage you NOT to stay here.
Please note also, that on Google Maps this hotel has two pins showing in same location - Great Fortune Hotel and Great Fortune Concept Hotel. These are the same hotels. One picture is of the back door and the other of the front door.

I accidentally made a wrong booking and immediately contacted the hotel to request a free cancellation or at least a partial refund. The hotel was extremely rude and refused to help at all, even though my stay is still months away and they clearly have enough time to resell the room.
Trip.com tried to negotiate with them three times, and I also personally emailed the hotel, but they completely ignored every attempt. Because of this experience, I ended up cancelling my entire Turkey trip.
I lost around USD 1,200 because of their lack of flexibility and poor attitude. After checking other reviews, I realized many guests faced similar problems — unprofessional staff and terrible service.
Avoid this hotel if you don’t want to waste your money and regret your trip.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations and did not match the information provided at the time of booking.
When I arrived, I was surprised to be offered a room with only one bed, even though my booking clearly included an option between a single-bed and a twin-bed room. I was told the hotel was fully booked and that the room could possibly be changed the next day — but that was not even the worst part.
The room itself was extremely small; it was barely possible to move around the bed without turning sideways. Contrary to the booking details, there was no balcony, only a window.
Regarding the breakfast area, the glass windows were dirty and covered with bird droppings, which made it quite unpleasant to sit and eat while facing such a view.
However, the most shocking issue was the bathroom, which was made entirely of glass, with partially transparent sections — offering no privacy at all. This was extremely uncomfortable, especially since I was sharing the room with a colleague with whom I am not that close. In addition, the toilet seat was loose, the shower cabin was extremely small, and there were no paper tissues provided in the bathroom.
The situation was so unacceptable that we decided to leave the hotel after just one night, even though we had booked and paid for three. Ironically, we paid the same rate at another hotel and received far better service,view,cleanliness, and room space.
Given these circumstances, I believe it is only fair to request a refund for the unused nights, as the service and conditions provided were far below the expected and advertised standards.
I hope you will handle this matter seriously and respond promptly.

Rooms are very clean and staff are always on hand to help if you need any extras. Ahmed, Gurkan, Efe and Yasin are a great team and made the trip an absolute pleasure - we will definitely be booking with them again if we decide to come back. They helped us find the best deals for all tourists attractions which is very hard to find if you’re not a local!. The location is perfect. 1min walk from sultanahmet tram stop - less than 5 min walk to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. 3/4 min walk to the grand bazaar. Getting to the Asia side takes 5 mins on the tram so you can visit the Galata tower etc. the area is also super quiet so you can sleep well. I have had a hamam in London, Antalya and a few places in Istanbul and the hamam I had here is the best I have ever had!! Guests of the hotel get 20% off which is great too. I’d highly recommend staying here !

First I would like by thanking : Bedra the manager ,and his team :Sha , Bilal, Mustafa and the tall guy with short hair that I don’t have his name. You guys were amazing and made me and my gf stay amazing always offering us water, tea, and helping us with our luggage to Sha and Bilal helping us plan our trip to Cappadokia from the hotel. The hotel is in a great location , you go up the hill and find the Main Street to all the stores and everything. Breakfast was great served every day fresh and the hotel over all was very clean. Thank you ! Istanbul was amazing and everyone at the hotel made it even better.
