My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience at Hotel Anthemis in Istanbul. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities needed. We especially loved the stunning view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus Strait from our balcony (we had opted for a premium room). The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of traditional Turkish food but also food that catered to the more conservative western palates.
The location was ideal, in the old part of the city and close to the main tourist sites. The entrance to the tram station was within a few minutes walk of the hotel, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.
However, our rooms faced a busy street lined with restaurants, so it was quite noisy until midnight. Unfortunately, we also encountered a few cockroaches in one of the rooms we booked.
