Anthemis Hotel

Especially the location was perfect. A room was small but clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and friendly. The view from the breakfast restaurant was so nice. I also recommend the restaurant dawn stairs and you can get 20% discount if you stay this hotel.

To anyone travelling to Istanbul I would highly recommend this hotel for you to stay. Located in the heart of Istanbul this beautiful spot is located close to both tourist attractions (Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, etc.) and some of the most delicious restaurants around, we were cared for through the entirety of our five day stay and there was never any concerns. The rooms were neat, clean and just as shown in the photos, the staff were very engaging to any requests we made and helped us navigate the city. The tram station is close by as well if you wish to traverse the city faster and get to far locations, otherwise there is plenty of taxis around, would recommend the tram as your number one go-to overall. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best views from the terrace they have, plenty of food choices especially for those with dietary requirements.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anthemis Hotel. It’s right in the heart of the old city, surrounded by lively streets, shops, and restaurants, perfect for exploring Istanbul. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was simple but decent, and overall, we found it to be good value. We’d happily stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Anthemis Hotel! The location is absolutely prime, making it easy to explore the city and access nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. So glad we chose to stay at Anthemis. The hospitality was beyond impressive. The employees treated us like family, and also seemed to love seeing our little toddler run around. The hotel is located a 2 minute walk from Aya Sofya mosque and the tram. It's also only a 15 minute walk from the ferry dock.

Our room was clean and had a beautiful view. It was standard size for a room in Istanbul, which might seem small but is pretty standard. Good selection at breakfast that rotated daily. The pickup from the airport was smooth and the van was clean. We can't wait to stay again!

From the moment we checked in at the Anthemis Hotel, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional Turkish hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start.

The location was close to everything the blue mosque, hagia Sophia etc and the tram line few steps away so even easier to access everything.

The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities with traditional Turkish touches. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and attention to detail in every corner of the hotel.

Breakfast was an absolute delight! The spread included a variety of fresh and delicious options & local Turkish delicacies. The food was beautifully presented, and the staff ensured that everything was replenished and guests were well taken care of.

The genuine hospitality of the staff truly stood out. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, offering personalized recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. It’s evident that they take pride in ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience.

Nice hotel to stay,

Wow! I’m almost lost for words. Istanbul is a beautiful city, full of history, breathtaking scenery and an incredibly vibrant vibe. The flavours, smells and awe inspiring architecture from across the centuries must be experienced to be believed. Anthemis hotel is, in my opinion, the best place to experience Istanbul. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the nearby Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque and a panoramic view of the Bosphorus while being treated like Sultans, by the amazing breakfast restaurant staff, led by Sinan bey. Nothing is too much trouble for Sinan bey, his friendly smile greeting us every morning and taking the time to answer our questions about the Istanbul landmarks, as we enjoy breakfast. Chef Altin made us tasty fresh omelettes and Dogan bey at reception gives great directions. We will definitely stay at Anthemis hotel again and also recommend to all family and friends. Anthemis hotel is within a very short walking distance of so many must-see sites, yet set just off the main road, away from the noise of the trams. We are sad to be leaving, but are looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you to everyone at Anthemis hotel.

Excellent location, right in the heart of all the tourist destinations!
Rooms were a little small but the location and friendly, helpful staff made up for it.

We stayed 1 week in this hotel as a couple, we had a room on the top floor with a fabulous view of the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The room was comfortable and well cleaned daily. Very good breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with an amazing view. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to what was overall a very pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, at walking distance from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. Tram line T1, stopping nearby, takes you everywhere you want to go. Highly recommended!
