Hotel is near everything- Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, shopping, tram, restaurants, etc. Hotel was clean, safe, and friendly staff - Cute Turkish vibe.

The Hotel Zeynep Sultan is very conveniently located and walkable to the major historical sites eg. Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, etc. The housekeeping is immaculate. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. They were very helpful. Breakfast is in a lovely roof top area. However, the rooms can be very small by American standards. My first room didn't have a closet or wardrobe. To enter the bathroom, I had to turn sideways (see photo). My second visit was in a better and slightly larger room. I would try for larger quarters the next time.

This small and cozy property was tucked in an alley way just behind the Hagia Sophia. The breakfast offered was a pleasant variety. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the grand area of the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet mosques. There is a small convenience shop just around the corner. It is steps away from the city tram, bus stops, shopping and restaurants.

Breakfast service was poor, and stuff was not polite. We had to catch early morning flight and seems like they didn’t care.

My sister and I stayed a week at this small hotel and the best part was that it is walking distance, like 5 to 15 minutes, to ALL the main tourist attractions! We never had to take a bus/tram or taxi. It offers transport to and from the airport at a very reasonable rate, as the airport is one hour away. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was rather small but we managed very well with 2 large suitcases and 2 smaller ones. The breakfast was plentiful but was catered more for Eastern Europeans, I.e. lots of cheeses, cold meats, the room was serviced every day but could have been a little cleaner, but if you are after the best location and excellent value, you can’t go wrong with this hotel. Location is great. Everything else isn't.
Breakfast was exactly the same for 4 days we stayed with bread being old or not fresh everyday so we opted for buying bread at bakery and bringing it with us. Staff isn't unfriendly but isn't friendly either i.e. upon checking in we got plenty of promotional fliers at the front-desk but one city map for 4 of us. When we asked to get more maps the staff said that one is enough for us. Front-desk staff used to smoke cigarettes right outside the entrance and the smoke was coming inside the hotel so cigarette smell wasn't uncommon on first floor and for sure in the lobby. There's no air circulation in the rooms so we were opening our rooms during the night but then mosquitos were coming inside the room and biting us throughout the night. During the night it was quite noisy so for any light sleepers that might be a problem.
Shower pressure was good in our room but shower head was leaking. Nice to have two bags of tea in the room but they weren't getting refilled after room cleaning. We didn't take offense to it but it would have been nice. Small or standard hotel touches were missing.
Given our stay in the hotel and the fact that most of the google reviews are posted by accounts with less than 10 reviews I question whether the reviews are real.
From 5 to 7pm there's happy hour with free tea on the terrace and some cookies.
