Tough hotel to rate ! The room we had was very small and featureless, and the hallways are always dark (like they are saving power), which is odd. But the breakfast buffet was great and varies, and I appreciated the free water cooler in the lobby. Easy access to galeta bridge and tower. And I like the noon checkout. So i will give it 3 stars!

The carpet in the room is not very clean. The shower is moldy. Great location however. The sound proofing in the rooms is not the best especially at night.

Clean but little bit small rooms

Family hotel. I was surprised when I went to a new breakfast in the basement where a new kitchen and a table were set. Breakfast is not a form of weddings, but an assortment of plates, where the chef cooks you with olives and smoked eggs and cooks one egg. Strange, but actually nice. Tersa with a wonderful view of the Bosphorus. Rooms very small and sparsely furnished.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The room (superior double with sea view - rather a studio actually) was in the adjoining building with a separate entrance, partially overlooking upper Golden Horn. Rooms and quality is great! Location is nice but a walk through streets so not super accessible. We were a bit dissappointed by the service as we had left 2 items in the hotel- which the hotel couldn’t find, so it was a loss for us.

The location is walking distance to quite a lot of eateries and maybe a 5 to 10 mins walk to tuksim centre. But the hotel room floor is a little dirty, we worn our room slipper all the way during our stay. Note: Don ask hotel to call taxi because the taxi driver asked us to pay much higher price than what the hotel counter told us, said becos he helped us carry luggage up the car. Ridiculous.

I went to this beach on weekdays. It's not crowded and I liked that. Just some kids around. This black sea is always wavy. It was windy and a bit cloudy when I went. The rooms are a bit small, but larger than those in other hotels in the old town, and all the necessary amenities are provided. Elele Boutique Apartments is by far one of the coolest places I have ever rented. These apartments are conveniently located within a brisk 5 minute walk of the Balat bus stop or the tram. I highly suggest anyone wanting to stay in Istanbul to consider staying here. Staff is also amazing.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are not too spacious, but ok. Washing machine, stove, fridge are provided. The table was quite comfortable to work at. The bedroom doesn't have windows (only the window that connects it with kitchen). Not so far from the Blue mosque (~15-20min by bus).
