When booking a 5-star hotel from the Hilton chain, one naturally has certain expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of those expectations. The check-in was acceptable, though Hilton Honors Gold benefits were not mentioned, with the exception of the complimentary breakfast. Clean room and nice room service

Good hotel for a short business trip. Although I wasn’t really thrilled with responsiveness and service. Property was clean enough though ,I give them that.

Baggage not taken to room, very late check in time, bathroom drain really bad smell, had to ask for robes for the spa area. Taking 100 euro deposit, suggests lack of trust of your guests. Then to be told locking mini bar. Your loss i would have spent money. Won't be recommending or returning to this hotel. Customer Service doesn't live up to the Hilton Brand!

The hotel, room and staff are great! There is something that honestly brothered me.  Anything bought at the hotel bar had a 10% mandatory service charge.  And this 10% does NOT go to the empoles who are there serving, but to the hotel company. Does not seem fair

I bought a subscription for a year to this hotel's gym. I am so happy for that because gym is so hygienic. It is always clean. Mr.Kazım and Mrs.Nur always pay attention to us. Room cleaning was yuck two days without mugs and coffee bags. Body shampoo ran out it took two days until they refilled.  the bed was not that comfortable. I know the original Shangri La Singapore has a superlative reputation but this hotel shoots for that and misses, feeling like an upper mid range hotel trying to be top range but not quite reaching it. I really loved the Shangri-La atmosphere; it blended Chinese artistic flair with French creamy elegance. Combined with the view from the window, it felt tranquil and pleasant, yet full of charm. My friend and I recently stayed at the Gorrion hotel and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I’d like to shine the light on an employee named Can. He truly went above and beyond in making sure all of our needs were met. Going out of his way ensuring we were treated like family. The hotel is located in front of Bosphorus Strait, and very convenient access to the ferry port and the metro stration. Since I used the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW), it took about only one hour from the airport to the hotel by using Metro, without worrying about traffic jams. I had easy access to the Old town side by using the ferry.

Although we love the location and the hotel itself! There are buts!!! It is incredibly annoying that hotel management outsources parking services to third-party people! It seems like the minute you drive in, the Valet Parking guys are chasing you to pay almost as high as 10% of the overnight rate just for parking!!!
