Water Side Resort & Spa - Ultra All Inclusive in Side

My honest review… We stayed here for 11 nights from 3rd Aug 25. I was with my mother and my two children 12 & 10 We all had a great time. There are lots of positives. Food… Like most all inclusives it becomes very samey and the quality isnt the best but there is plenty to choose from and you wouldn’t go hungry. The main restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff are a bit too keen to clear your plate and on several occasions took our plates while we were still eating. The desserts look fantastic but sadly did not live up to their appearance, same goes for the patisserie. There was the poolside snack bar open from 12:30 to 15:30, where they also had a lady making flatbreads Ice cream from 2-5 Beach bar also did food and had flatbreads made to order. Then there was “tea time” at the pool bar 16:30 to 17:30 so lots on offer throughout the day. There are 3 a la carte restaurants but you only get to dine in 1 if staying fewer than 14 nights. We stayed for 11 nights so only allowed to choose 1. I feel this was a bit disappointing. We went to the Italian which was lovely. We had soup, salad with tomato and mozzarella and smoked salmon for starter then lasagne came out then you choose from beef or salmon and maybe something else but I can’t remember. Kids don’t get a choice or a starter and get a plate with spaghetti, pizza and chips. It felt weird eating starters when the children got nothing we did share with them of course. Their food came out while we were eating starters. Drinks… my main issue was serving them in boiling hot glasses/cups straight from the dishwasher, I understand sometimes this is unavoidable but they didn’t seem to rotate them to avoid this, it was extremely hot with temperatures hitting 46 while we were there and they were quite stingey with the ice if they decided to give any at all, often had to ask. The drinks were fine in themselves though. Fresh orange juice at breakfast was lovely. Bar staff were great and plentiful so you never had to wait a long time to be served. All around the hotel are fridges stocked with bottles of cold water. Pool… Pool was great, always monitored by the life guard. It did get very slippery but you can see they have tried to reduce this with some Astro type mats around the place. The only thing I would say that let ithe pool down a bit was that it was 1.4m throughout so I don’t think this is terribly great for smaller children it could have had a more shallow end. There is a separate toddler pool. The animation team were good, they did adult only games and children games, they did Aqua gym every morning and water volley ball and water polo every day in the morning and afternoon. They also did darts most days. They did a big inflatable assault course on the Tuesday and a foam party on the Friday. The water park was ok just 4 slides but a nice extra to have. It’s open 10-12 the 14-16 could be open longer in my opinion Rooms… We stayed in 1232 which is a standard double,

I see all the negative reviews on here for this hotel and feel it is a bit unjustified compared to the holiday I had here. I travelled in May, maybe its different then , maybe not. Dont get me wrong there is some room for improvement. However, the food wasnt bad, there was always something nice on the menu and I have been to much worse. The staff are lovely, there is the odd misery guts but these people are only human and you dont know whats going on with them. The entertainment was ok, the animations team did what they could, my daughter loved the pools foam party and the evening entertainment was good enough(apart from the russians singing). My only moan is the drinks, I like a cocktail on my jollies, but the spirits they use are not fit for purpose, they are not real vokdas, whiskeys etc, just sugary alternatives. On the whole though had a great time, would i be back again, probably not but thats because I dont stay in the same place more than once unless its extra special, but this does not mean it is not a decent hotel.

Just got back from water side resort. Hotel was nice not a 5 star more 4 star. Rooms were very nice with a spacious baloncy and air con was a must. Rooms cleaned daily with drinks filled in fridge every day. Main restaurant was large with plenty of room and staff. Food was good but found same choices most days so got abit boring after few days. Staff all worked hard . Have 1 a la carte reservation to use in stay and used fish restaurant which was nice and a change from normal food. Entertainment team was excellent with lots of things in the day to do around the pool area like darts , volleyball me and my son enjoyed it. Night entertainment was also good different themes every night. Location of hotel is next to a river and was interesting watching all the boats mainly pirate themed sail past. Location of hotel is stuck out the way abit not much else in the area. About 2 hour transfer from Antalaya airport. Went with easy jet holidays and would use them again. All in all a good holiday nice hotel plenty of staff and hard working .

Our first time in Turkey for a holiday, the water side hotel and spa our 14 night holiday was first class from day 1, travelled with my wife and 22 year old daughter. Received a room upgrade on arrival to a duplex room with made our stay even better, all the staff from bar, waiter, cleaners were brilliant, very friendly, polite and professional at all times they could not do enough for us, the water side team of fun Edif and the crew where amazing and made our holiday very special, the animation team put on great games to keep us busy in the daytime. The evening entertainment was very good and the food and drink was excellent, the whole experience was brilliant, we had an excellent holiday in a lovely location full of amazing people, thank you all very much for making our holiday so special, we are already planning to come back again asap.

Lovely hotel and nice service. Rooms are also very spacious. I have also had photo sessions with hotel photographers. Pics are stunning and guys know what they are doing. Reasonable price and definitely worth every penny. Memories for life

+ The hotel is in a good location. There is a massive park next to it and it's very close to the sea (3 mins walk but there are services frequently) There are a lot of local transports by the hotel that goes to the nearest town and Side. There is a river on the other side and it has beautiful river/mountain views The food is absolutely amazing! Whether you are veggy or meat lover, there is food for everyone's taste. And all the time! And endless options 😊 We found our pillows too high but the staff changed them for us. Beds were just standard for five star hotel rooms. The view from the balcony was stunning! The hotel provided lots of toiletries/ the fridge was always filled in with complimentary soft drinks and more stuff than we needed. Most importantly it was so clean! The rooms were cleaned regularly. Everything in the room was spotless and the staff was always around if there was anything missing. We stayed in this hotel for two weeks and the hotel staff were always smiling and very helpful & friendly.

We came hesitantly, but from A to Z, it was very nice, the spaciousness of the hotel areas, the connection with a huge outdoor pool and the indoor pool, the cleaning staff, the variety and taste of the food, we couldn't get enough of the pastry, breakfast, lunch and dinner are excellent, nothing is missing since the lamb tandoor.
