Asteria Collection Hotel in Side

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at Asteria Collection Side, and I must admit it was one of the best decisions I could have made for my trip. From the moment I arrived, I felt special thanks to the warm welcome from the staff. The receptionist, with a smile, showed me all the hotel amenities and recommended several local attractions.
I can't forget the breakfasts served in the hotel restaurant. They were truly delicious and varied – from fresh fruit and various types of bread to local specialties. The staff were always helpful and made sure guests had everything they needed.
Finally, it's worth mentioning the wellness area, which was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The pool was impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere was conducive to relaxation.

In summary, Asteria Collection Side is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. Excellent service, comfortable rooms, a great location, and delicious food – all this made my stay unforgettable. I will definitely be back in the future! - Best regards, Andrzej Czempion and Margaret

Everything was top-notch. Thanks to the staff and everyone who works at this hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The food was plentiful and varied, including fresh fruit... Pools, sauna, and Turkish baths. There's a free safe in the room, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and on the beach. I highly recommend it.

A luxurious hotel. The sea is a leisurely 3-minute walk away. Food for every taste. Fruit and ice cream are endless. There are two water parks on the hotel grounds: one for children and one for adults. It was impossible to drag our child out. My husband and I also had a great time; the slides were fantastic. The only thing you shouldn't do is choose the restaurant, which you can only visit once during your stay. The food there is limited, and the entire dinner drags on and on. All my friends went to the common room for a decent meal after eating at the restaurant. The sea was also a delight. The water is blue, with some pebbles at the entrance, but the bottom and the beach itself are sandy. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

An excellent hotel for those over 40. I really liked everything: the cleanliness, good service, and convenient location. Most of the guests were older Germans.

A nice, quiet, and perfectly acceptable hotel. The food is no worse than a five-star, with plenty to eat and quite decent. Meat is served daily: lamb, beef, liver, chicken, and turkey in various forms. Room cleaning is so-so, and shampoos aren't replenished daily. Entertainment is available daily except Sundays. The only downside is that they don't speak Russian at all and don't seem to care. The staff is friendly and smiling. They only play music for Germans and locals, although there's plenty of Russian music too.

A quiet hotel for a family vacation. A solid four-star Turkish hotel. We stayed at the end of September 2021. 80% of the guests are quiet German pensioners. Well-kept garden, children's area with 2 tennis courts. A 10-minute walk to the sea. We had Tuborg beer, not that damned Efes. The hotel is definitely worth the money; we loved it.

We stayed at Asteria Collection Side in mid October. There are a lot of pros and cons with this hotel.

Good
Friendly staff, available 24 hours, and a good level of communication in English.
Short walk to the beach, if you don’t fancy the pools available in the hotel.
Room fridge provided - although not great, our drinks were colder than the room was!
Bus available to transport hotel guests to the beach and back.
A large selection of food is available, however if you want meat you will have to go away from the regular buffet area and get it from outside.

Bad
The resort caters more towards Eastern European families, and signs that were not in Turkish or Russian were hard to find.
The pools are freezing. Apparent daily checks on these are undertaken with the temperature logged. They were not 25° as stated on the signs.
Room felt very dated and had clearly just been decorated. The decorators had left tape up in the wardrobe area. Although a fresh kick of paint had been applied, this does not cover up the mould in the shower, and terrible drainage system.
There was a massive extractor fan outside of our room. We measured this at 72dB all day and night. This is similar to a loud car ride.
A transfer service is available within the hotel, however is very expensive. We were quoted €70 one way for 2 people to Antalya Airport - double the price we were paying with a private transfer.

There are lots of local amenities, shops, restaurants etc, and these are only a short walk away from the hotel.

On our last night a patron had a medical emergency, and the staff on scene were very professional and treated the patron with the utmost care throughout.

Overall for the price we paid, we did expect better from this hotel. However, we would go back if we were able to get a different room.

Kivanc we play dart and i really like it here and we dance near the pool through out the day.
