I had the most unforgettable experience at Lago Hotel in Side! From the very first day, everything was simply perfect — the warm hospitality, the clean and comfortable rooms, the delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere. The hotel has a truly beautiful setting with a lovely beach and a stunning pier that became one of my favorite places to watch the sunset.
But what made my stay truly special was that I received a marriage proposal here! 💍 The hotel staff went above and beyond to organize everything — from the romantic decorations to the perfect timing and setting on the pier. A special thank you to Lola for her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism — she made sure every little detail was perfect and turned this important moment into a memory I’ll cherish forever. It was absolutely magical, like something out of a dream. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful moment.

We spent 2 weeks in Lago. We stayed in a room with a private pool, the all inclusive program provided every comfort and everything we wanted.
everything 10 stars, delicious Turkish food, a huge selection of dishes and extra eastern cuisine, perfect service, clean, azure water in numerous swimming pools, a pebble beach with a sandbank a few steps from the hotel.
Everything organized and furnished comfortably for guests.
Not cheating drinks, great coffee and sweets at every step.
Possibility of well-organized trips - which we took advantage of.
A great place with professional service.
I recommend LAGO to every tired guest.

We had a really memorable stay here as a group of six (three couples), and it felt extra special since we had just gotten married—the hotel generously upgraded us to a private villa with three rooms, three bathrooms, and even our own mini pool. That alone made the trip unforgettable! The buffet food was nice, with a different country’s cuisine featured each evening, and the snack places were fantastic—sometimes even better than the buffet. The whole area was spotless and constantly maintained, the private beach was lovely, and we really appreciated the adults-only N-16 area where staff actually enforced the rules, unlike many other places.
On the downside, the animation team wasn’t really our thing—they came across as a bit too self-absorbed, and at times even bothersome, which was disappointing. In particular, there was a blond (brownish hair maybe), muscular guy (often wearing a cap) who spent most of his time harassing guests, including people in our group. It felt really uncomfortable and definitely not the kind of energy you want from someone meant to be entertaining visitors. Cocktails were also underwhelming; most bartenders seemed to just mix alcohol with jam and add foam, and despite asking for an Old Fashioned several times, we never quite got one. It would also be great if the staff working in the kitchen had proper air conditioning—it looked unbearably hot for them, which was tough to see. There were really no evening activities for adults; everything would shut down at around 11 pm as it is probably more family-oriented. Lastly, two of the main water slides were closed during our stay, and since it didn’t seem like they were reopening anytime soon, it would have been good to know that upfront as big water slide fans.
In conclusion, since we got an offer for around €1100 p/p for a week, it was good. I wouldn't pay more than that and none of us would go there anymore, to be honest.

Our stay at Lago Hotel was truly a delightful experience. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our time there. Everything was clean and well maintained, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel.
One of the best parts of our stay was the food. Every meal we had at the hotel was delicious – from the fresh and flavorful bread to the well-prepared dishes served at lunch and dinner. A fantastic hotel from start to finish. The food, drinks & service are all outstanding. The hotel has everything you could hope for whether you're a family or a couple holidaying. The adults are taken care of with wonderful adult only areas and so much for the kids to do with their own water parks covering varying ages. The swimming pools have separate areas depending if you'd like an energetic vibe with aerobics classes, water sports or foam parties. A relaxing area who prefer to chill & relax just enjoying the Turkish sunshine. All of course with their own bar areas too. There's so much in offer here that it would would need a long post to cover it. Needless to say we cannot wait to return

We are here now. Check in was smooth, staff are polite and very helpful. It’s very clean, we got a duplex suite for our family of five which was great although did have to request a travel cot for a baby. Downsides are the noise! The constant booming from the dj round the pool is a lot, and on the evenings it’s ridiculous, we sat away but you can’t speak to each other, and the rooms with sea view get full brunt of the noise until the early hours. Not ideal. Just could be dropped down a little

A great experience overall! The property is modern and Instagrammable, with a stylish design that stands out. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help—special shoutout to the evening bartenders, who handle the heat and constant flow of orders like pros. Cleanliness and food quality are solid, especially given the high occupancy. Definitely recommend!
