But what made my stay truly special was that I received a marriage proposal here! 💍 The hotel staff went above and beyond to organize everything — from the romantic decorations to the perfect timing and setting on the pier. A special thank you to Lola for her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism — she made sure every little detail was perfect and turned this important moment into a memory I’ll cherish forever. It was absolutely magical, like something out of a dream. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful moment.

everything 10 stars, delicious Turkish food, a huge selection of dishes and extra eastern cuisine, perfect service, clean, azure water in numerous swimming pools, a pebble beach with a sandbank a few steps from the hotel.

On the downside, the animation team wasn’t really our thing—they came across as a bit too self-absorbed, and at times even bothersome, which was disappointing. In particular, there was a blond (brownish hair maybe), muscular guy (often wearing a cap) who spent most of his time harassing guests, including people in our group. It felt really uncomfortable and definitely not the kind of energy you want from someone meant to be entertaining visitors. Cocktails were also underwhelming; most bartenders seemed to just mix alcohol with jam and add foam, and despite asking for an Old Fashioned several times, we never quite got one. It would also be great if the staff working in the kitchen had proper air conditioning—it looked unbearably hot for them, which was tough to see. There were really no evening activities for adults; everything would shut down at around 11 pm as it is probably more family-oriented. Lastly, two of the main water slides were closed during our stay, and since it didn’t seem like they were reopening anytime soon, it would have been good to know that upfront as big water slide fans.
In conclusion, since we got an offer for around €1100 p/p for a week, it was good. I wouldn't pay more than that and none of us would go there anymore, to be honest.
Pluses: Very clean, good entertainment, modern design, separate kids area.
Minuses: Smell sewage in the room, food is similar every day,
Hotel modern and renovated quality of renovation is very doubtful.
One of the best parts of our stay was the food. Every meal we had at the hotel was delicious – from the fresh and flavorful bread to the well-prepared dishes served at lunch and dinner. The variety and quality of the meals really stood out, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into the cooking. Dining at the hotel became one of the highlights of our trip.
The staff was also exceptional. They were always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their warm and professional service made us feel very welcome and added so much to the overall experience.
Overall, Lago Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. With comfortable rooms, excellent food for every meal, and outstanding service, it is the perfect place for both relaxation and enjoyment. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely choose to return in the future.
