Reviews
We were amazed by the service offered by reception, restaurant and cleaning personnel.
Food was delicious ( attention to weight gain ! )
The sea was close and good to swim.
Unlike at Black Sea in Romania, lifeguards don't come after you to stop your swimming.
Minibuses carry to and from beach at regulated hours. We would love to come again!
They placed us in an unsuitable ground-floor room next to the pool bar, where an unpleasant odor was noticeable. Outraged, we requested a change, and they moved us to an attic room where the smell from the kitchen was overwhelming. The attic wasn’t air-conditioned either. The refrigerator and bathtub there were yellow, dirty, and rusted, which could have led to injuries or infections.
After wasting an entire day demanding to be sent back to Belgrade or given a standard room, they moved us to a “family room” that didn’t match its description or meet sanitary standards. Paradoxically, this room came with an additional 700-euro charge.
This hotel is falsely categorized—it cannot be a four-star hotel, as confirmed by guest comments on the hotel’s website. I must also mention that I got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant’s food.
I warn all potential travelers to avoid staying at this hotel.
The staff was great (except maybe for the grumpy receptionist). They were very friendly and helpful.
The food was good, nothing to write home about but you definitely won't stay hungry and you always have decent options for a good meal.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, the beach is nice and the beach bar is excellent.
The hotel is located in a good spot, close to the beach (cca. 300m) and there is a bus shuttle if you don't want to walk. There is also a Migros supermarket close by and some souvenir shops etc. There is also quite a nice walkway next to the beach that connects all of the hotels' beaches.
The entertainment is close to non-existent (could be because it was September) except for the evening performances in the 'amphitheater'.
The main gripe was with the overall hygiene of the hotel. If the following issues were resolved this hotel would be amazing.
The cutlery, glassware and plates were always stained and never looked properly cleaned, we had to wipe them all with tissues before eating.
The rooms are semi-renovated. At first glance they seem clean but then you start noticing the details, like dust on top of the TV, stains on the sheets, and white spots on the toilet sink and shower. The daily cleaning includes refilling the mini-fridge with bottled water and changing the towels. The sheets were never changed in the 8 day stay.
Overall, a quite decent hotel for the value, but could be great if adjustments to the hygiene routine were made.
- Had issues with getting our booking, no rooms available for us on arrival at 1AM. Was demanding cash to book us a room in the sister hotel Orfeus Queen. He finally gave us a room after waiting for over an hour with 2 young children. Added his picture for reference. He blamed the travel agent we used, and the travel agent blamed the hotel. Regardless, this looks to be a common theme with this hotel. I will never use the hotel or LoveHolidays again.
- Rooms are dirty/old fashioned
- Staff are overworked
- Staff are rude, often complaining about having to put ice in the drinks, etc. All to encourage tipping...
- Pool tiles are like walking on glass in bare feet they're that slippery.
- Permanently towels on chairs, no removal of towels overnight.
- No lifeguard on the pools
- Sliced 3 of my fingers open on the pool slide
- The salad food gave me diarrhea that lasted for 6 days, 3 whilst there, 3 at home.
Things I didn't overly agree from other reviewers was that the food was good, and the air conditioning worked well in the 3 different rooms that we had.
We are from Northern Ireland and will never return to this hotel again. It is between a 2 and 3 star hotel, and it wasn't even that cheap for us booking through LoveHolidays.
The hotel staff was friendly. The greatest praise for Suphi Yavuz. The whole trip looked after and entertained us. Always energetic and helpful. Not only for us and all guests. Big thanks!
A lot of food, varied. Cool! Good black tea. Perfectly clean beautiful pools. Animations every evening. A wonderful Turkish evening. Volleyball on the beach at 4pm. The volleyball player is cool guy.
The rooms need renovation and cleanliness. The hotel has potential.
Spa! It's a fairy tale. Professional masseurs Ferit and Silegman. Individual approach to the patient. Full relax. Memory massage stays for longer! The fish pool needs cleaning. Always a delicious tea after the treatment.
In a beauty salon you have to be careful when you take your drinks. Better to have something twisted in a bottle. When there will be such an opportunity, we will certainly come back without hesitation! 😁
There is also a restaurant on the beach, but they do not serve any alcoholic drinks, they make it only at the bar by the pool. They serve Pepsi, Fanta, etc drinks, some no-brand liqueurs, vodka, gin, etc but no long drinks, you can forget about basic cuba libre, tequila sunrise etc :/
Ice cream is served only one hour a day, and is not served even during dinner. At that time there is a long line for it could be more than 30 people waiting for it :/
Guests are allowed to "block" sunbed at the swimming pool during the night and also for a whole day. So there is almost no chance to get a free one.
If you lose your room card they will charge you 10 EUR.
Dinner starts at 19:00 but at 20:00 they will stop adding new food, so everyone come at 19:00 its very crowded and almost no chance to get a free table. If you come later you get a table but not many options to choose from.
There is no snack bar, where you can get food during the day. We arrived at 14:30 and had to wait until 19:00.
Wi-Fi in the hotel is not really working and we miss Wi-Fi on the beach.
Guests are mostly from Russia, Germany, Poland, and Turkey. Very often around midnight, some guests were noisy.
We really liked the swimming pool, transfer to the beach and free sunbeds there.
