My silver status name tag of Cathay Pacific was removed by staff and gone missing after check in and left luggage on the side. Very upset. Otherwise service is efficient.

To me, a hotel's true 5-star status isn't tested when things go perfectly; it is tested when things go wrong. It is about how the management team works together to turn a stressful situation into the premium experience you pay for.

My stay had a rocky start with some room location issues and a significant kitchen mix-up with a dessert. However, the way the team handled it was exceptional.

I want to specifically commend the Duty Manager, Mr. Mustafa. He didn't just apologize; he took ownership. He immediately upgraded me to a Sea View suite (which completely saved the trip), personally corrected errors on my mini-bar bill, and ensured I was comfortable.

Furthermore, when I had an issue with a food order, I didn't just get a refund—I received a personal apology from both the Chef and the Supervisor. That level of accountability is rare.

If you are looking for a hotel that actually listens to its guests and cares about their satisfaction, FIVE Palm Jumeirah delivers. Thank you to the team for turning this around. The pool is excellent and very well maintained. The pool area is beautiful, clean, and surrounded by a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed right away. Everything around the pool is nicely organized and visually appealing.
The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, always smiling and making sure guests feel welcome.
The food and drinks are delicious, fresh, and well presented, with a great variety to choose from.
Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy great service, and spend quality time in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
