This is an older hotel. Everyone, try to book the Royal Atlantis if you can. The waterparks for both hotels are connected. If you plan to have the buffet, book early as reservations fill up quickly.

Upon arrival, we upgraded to a Palm Island view room. The staff were very attentive. Although our room on the 4th floor was a bit low, it was fine. Our child was thrilled to see the pool. The shuttle service was also very convenient. Just keep in mind that check-in and check-out can take some time, so don't schedule your itinerary too tightly.

The only thing worth mentioning is on our last day, while having breakfast at the Saffron restaurant, right as we walked in, under the first counter on the right where the plates are kept, I personally saw a cockroach crawling around, even on several plates that were about to be used. We quickly left with our family and informed the staff about the situation. It's definitely necessary to change those plates. While cockroaches in a restaurant are somewhat inevitable, I hope they can try to avoid guests seeing them, especially on new plates that might be used.

Amazing stay at Atlantis The Palm! The room was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and everything felt luxurious. The waterpark was so much fun. Definitely a memorable experience in Dubai!

Compared to Atlantis Sanya, this place is a completely different beast. The service is miles apart, and the whole concept is totally different. This time, I felt like the money I spent was worth it for the service I received, and I didn't regret my choice. To be honest, the breakfast selection was pretty average, but the taste was decent.

There are many activities, and it's very beautiful with great facilities. However, we had to call to request kids' toiletries and bathrobes. They should really be provided automatically, especially since they already have our check-in information.

We specifically booked the Royal Club for the water park. The room wasn't particularly large, but thankfully, we spent almost all our time playing when we weren't sleeping. There's a dedicated check-in area and three snack times. However, we only managed to catch afternoon tea on our first day. For breakfast, I highly recommend the G-level area, which is much more suited for Chinese palates, as the club breakfast is English style and the afternoon tea selection is also limited (definitely not recommended). We missed happy hour. The G-level breakfast really has a great variety, so choosing a rate that includes breakfast is definitely worthwhile.

The water park is super, super fun! After checking out, they give you a day pass so you can keep playing. A big drawback is how huge the hotel is! Both the club and the water park are in the East Tower, but our room was in the West Tower, and it was quite a trek! Especially if you want to go back to your room to shower after playing in the water park, you have to walk through a long, very cold corridor. The Lost Chambers Aquarium opens at 10 AM, and you can see everything in about half an hour.

Dubai really gives me the impression that the more ordinary the room service staff and lobby personnel are, the better their service attitude – to the point where I genuinely felt compelled to tip them.

I booked a sea-view king room and specifically requested not to be given a corner room when I booked a month in advance. However, upon check-in, I was still assigned a corner room. I had to go to the front desk myself to negotiate and get moved to a non-corner room.

Hotel Amenities and Environment: The 7-star hotel environment is impeccable, boasting a water park and an aquarium. I saw on Xiaohongshu that beach slippers were complimentary, but unfortunately, they weren't – only a beach bag was provided. The room itself was decent.

Dining: The most satisfying part of this trip was the Club Lounge. It's actually a Michelin-starred restaurant! Breakfast starts at 7 AM, and the afternoon tea selection is also very rich. You can even order drinks during happy hour. Choosing a club room that grants access to the lounge is absolutely worth it.

Service: The service was very enthusiastic. I arrived at the hotel quite early, and after my third inquiry, they finally arranged a room for me just before 12 PM.

This is a massive resort, located at the very tip of the Palm Jumeirah. The architecture is grand, stately, and very well-designed. There are pools, a beach, a water park, various activities like ping pong and a golf practice range, and an abundance of facilities for children. Our room was a high-floor, sea-view room, and standing by the window, the view outside was simply breathtaking.

Even though the resort has been operating for 18 years, it's incredibly well-maintained. Despite the large number of guests, especially children, everything runs smoothly and is very well-managed. All the glass doors and windows are immaculately clean, not a single fingerprint, because staff are constantly wiping them down. We discreetly counted several swimming pools, and one of them alone had eight lifeguards on duty.

There's a great variety of dining options, including Michelin three-star and one-star restaurants, as well as two buffets. Breakfast was generally good. A special shout-out to our dinner at the Michelin one-star Hakkasan – the food was delicious, the quality was excellent, and the ambiance was very elegant and upscale.

Next door, the new Atlantis The Royal has opened, and guests staying here can take a shuttle to visit it.

The staff are all incredibly proactive, enthusiastic, and super patient. They always make sure to diligently complete whatever you ask of them before moving on.
