Ruby Lucy Hotel London by IHG in London

We had a fantastic experience at the Ruby Lucy Hotel. The bar drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious. What really made our stay special, though, was the outstanding service.

Emily was absolutely amazing, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We’d also like to thank Mattia and Vini, who were both professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit.

The team created such a warm and enjoyable atmosphere, and we can’t thank them enough. We would happily return and highly recommend the Ruby Lucy Hotel to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and exceptional hospitality.

Great hotel! Rooms functionally amazing. The decor of the hotel is lovely, edgy and understated but classy. The Rooms - Great linen and lovely shower and products. But what makes this hotel is the staff. Casual and professional vibe and big shoutout to Vini and Melody for feeling like you’re coming home, true credit to the hotel. Can’t recommend this hotel more highly, for the complete package! It will be the go to in London. PS the Bar is 24/7. Amazing beer on tap and wines and solid recommendations.

WOW, what a fabulous experience! Great area near Waterloo station, very walkable area with plenty of places to eat. Hotel was very clean, room was immaculate. Very comfortable bed. The Lobby was cozy, comfortable and I felt like a rock star from the 70’s just hanging out. Cocktails were very yummy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Especially Vini and Emily, couldn’t ask for more kind genuine people. Would definitely stay in a Ruby hotel again!

Legitimately one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly and helpful, in an informal but high service standard way, from the moment I arrived, and throughout my stay. The whole hotel has a very cosy vibe, stepping off the bustling Waterloo street into a calm oasis. It’s very boutiquey in design, and they’ve really thought of every small detail guests might need. I am vegan and celiac, and they accommodated my needs really well, with no annoyance you get in lots of hotels. It’s also on a nice pedestrianised street, which has a great food market and lots of cafes and shops. Plus it’s only 5mins walk from Waterloo station

Lovely hotel next to Waterloo station on Lower Marsh. Super friendly helpful reception/ bar staff, lovely atmospheric bar... Nice spacious room with a good laid out area. The bonus points for me were
- good working a/c and heating,
- plenty of HOOKS for hanging clothing and the hair dryer next to the sink mirror and hand towels,
- MIRROR WITH LIGHTS for make-up (which every hotel should have!),
- and EXQUISITELY SCENTED TOILETRIES for hand washing and hand moisturising, 2 options of shower gel, plus proper shampoo & conditioner also! Heavenly and

Of course plenty of pillows, and a divine mattress too...! ❤️ Our 3 nights stay was very comfortable and I felt spoilt 🥰
Is the owner really a lady called Ruby Lucy? Because the attention to the details, ensuring I could do my hair and my make-up properly unlike most hotels who cater mostly or uniquely for male guests... Seriously THANK YOU! And may I strongly suggest you exert this lovely feminine details influence on the rest of the IHG hotels conglomerate - more mirrors, proper lighting, amazingly luxurious scented toiletries including moisturiser and conditioner, pretty please?

Nice enough hotel. Great location for sight seeing. Lots food and shops nearby. Just rooms are lacking basics you’d expect in a hotel and very basic. Wow room did not wow at all.

Great stay in a lovely location! Staff were super friendly and the facilities were clean! Really cool bar downstairs and comfy bed!

Very nice service and prime location! Would definitely stay here again.
Only downside is no warm (English) breakfast

The room is small, but it’s in the heart of London. Just right beside London eyes. Walking distance to London eye.
Location is very convenient, and there is convenient stall (Iceland) just right beside.
The drink at the bar was fantastic, absolutely worth to try.
They do provide free hot drinks too, that’s sweet
Staff are friendly and helpful
Room are clean and cozy, small yet comfortable
Shower gel and shampoo are brilliant, smell so good
