Nice front desk staff and staff in general but the other guest in the room do not shower and the room smells like a landfill.

First, the location is inside a bar and hard to discover it without any sign for travelers. Second, they listed lots of rules of penalty fare and required 50 dollars for secruity deposit, which left a very bad first impression. Third, I asked for a bottom bed at online booking in advance, but was assign to a up bed though the bottom bed was available. Fouth, this is the only hotel that doesn't provide quilt. Fifth, I booked a shared dormitry with males，but I was finally assigned to a mixed room. Overall，this is the worst experience I had！

Customer service very bad.I think they should pay salaries on a scale according to good customer service performance and not a fixed default salary. On the other hand, the hostel is in decline and they are no longer interested in providing excellent service because they believe that they will always continue to get clients. However, like me, I will look for other options that treat me better.

Washroom was really stinky and not clean. Also room was smelly. Receptionist was so rude to us when we asked her for parking she didn’t even talk properly. She didn’t check us out properly, had to leave the hostel just after checking out. There is also an unknown fees they charged us for staying near beach area which is not included in the initial booking amount.

Bad experience. Not worth the price. There are many other better options on Booking, with much better counter service than this place, especially from a certain Marta, who doesn't care about you. They also will force you to pay an abusive US$20 fee for "insurance". I have never seen this in my life as a traveler, due to doubting the customer. Stay away from this place if you don't want to ruin your vacation.

I had the opportunity to stay at Beds n’ Drinks Hostel, which boasts an exceptional location just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The hostel provides all the essentials one could need: clean bedrooms and bathrooms that are well-maintained daily.

However, my experience was dampened by several aspects. Firstly, the staff’s demeanor was unwelcoming. From the onset, guests are required to wear a paper bracelet to gain entry. This practice not only feels intrusive but is also impractical for a beach location where it can easily get wet and be lost. Moreover, the enforcement of this rule is often handled aggressively, making one feel more like an intruder than a guest.

Another point of contention is the hostel’s rigid patio hours. The patio closes at midnight, which is problematic given that there is no other common area for socializing. Additional charges such as extra fees for a second towel, a $6 breakfast option, and a mandatory $6 resort fee per night with no clear justification for the latter were disappointing. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit in the room was excessively loud, making it difficult to sleep. Lastly, the strict check-out policy resulted in the loss of a $40 deposit due to a slightly delayed departure.

In conclusion, despite its prime location and clean facilities, the cons of staying at Beds n’ Drinks, including the unwelcoming staff and additional charges, significantly detracted from the overall experience. I would not recommend this hostel for those seeking a relaxed and enjoyable stay in Miami Beach.
