Hyatt Centric the Loop Hotel, Chicago1 / 28
8.7
Chicago, 100 W Monroe St (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is nice and clean. The housekeeping is very good and worthy of praise. Minor disadvantages: The windows are not soundproof enough and the gym is average.
The Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago is a fantastic hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city. Its location is incredibly convenient—steps away from multiple bus lines and metro stations, making it super easy to explore all that Chicago has to offer. Whether you’re heading to the museums, shopping on the Magnificent Mile, or catching a show in the theater district, everything feels close...
Great hotel in the center of downtown. I was able to walk everywhere. I stayed in town for the river dyeing on St. Patrick’s Day weekend and was a 10 min walk from the river. I booked 6 months in advance and got a great deal for 3 nights in downtown Chicago.
My room was very nice. Temperature control was great. I wish room service was available but I did get a chance to eat at the restaurant downstairs which was pretty tasty. I would recommend a stay . And considering future stays
The location of the hotel is very good, and the transportation is very convenient. There are buses and subways nearby. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to fake fifth avenue.
Very nice Hotel. Nice, clean and modern rooms. Location is amazing. Close to tram and metro stops. Bus stops nearby too. Close to the big shopping street, everything in walking distance.

Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Chicago1 / 28

Chicago, 11 E Walton St (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The view from the window was so-so. The lobby was rather small for a luxury hotel and felt a bit dated. I overslept and didn't have time to eat breakfast, haha.
My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago was exceptional. The room was not just nice, but genuinely lovely and remarkably spacious, with the added charm of an open fireplace and stunning corner views over upper Chicago. The beds were incredibly comfortable, promising a perfect night's sleep, and the well-appointed bathroom featured both an independent shower and a luxurious bath. Beyond the room, the...
Just stayed there for a long weekend vacation trip. Most five star hotels have excellent accommodations, what set this one apart is the outstanding hospitality and customer service. Literally everyone, from door man, valet, front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant, are courteous, genuinely caring and knowledgeable, they assured my stay was excellent and it definitely was. I’ve stayed at the other...
I had a fantastic stay at the Astoria Chicago, and I have to give a special shoutout to Holly at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — offering great local tips and making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who truly enjoys what they do,...
This property checks all of the boxes! Moiz at the front desk was spectacular at check in! I was given a beautifully appointed corner room with a balcony, fireplace, and wonderful view. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer Aesop toiletries. They have some of the best in room dining I’ve ever experienced! They are kind, timely, and pay attention to detail. The valet service is stellar! The minute...
The room window has no view but it is very quiet, suitable for rest, good hygiene and service. The restaurant was not booked and there was no seat so I didn't experience it. The hotel is a good one-mile drive away

the only issue i have with this hotel, my favorite in Chicago, is the elevators take a long time when you are in the back tower. front tower is preferred
The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is the most charming hotel in the city of Chicago. My wife and I recently got married in Chicago and one of the highlights of the weekend was hanging out at the hotel! It has a roaring 20's vibe with the dark woods in the main lobby and the large game room which is a fun place to get a drink and play chess/pool. Amazing location close to the Amtrak, Chicago subway...
great hotel with strong history vibe and post industrial style room interior . great location that closes to a lot of major destinations. But for the size and facing of the room(basically looking at the other back of building about 20’ of distance), I think it’s overpriced.
Great stay as always- beautiful property, rooms, Game Room is a gem, and excellent staff; just a couple notes: Bring back The Milk Room! The lobby seating was less inviting with so much turned over to assigned-seating dining. Can the hotel offer at least complimentary coffee/tea for guests? I prepaid for breakfast but still had to pay $5 per cup of coffee.
The lobby is just gorgeous and the location can't be beat, but the rooms could use a bit of an upgrade and better lighting.
The common areas are grand and beautiful. Lovely gothic interior. The room was lacking. Nothing grand or luxurious about it at all. Quite basic and plain. A real contrast from the lobby. No extra amenities or touches as I would have expected in a higher priced hotel suite. Go have drinks there but stay elsewhere.

Very nice location in Chicago downtown with affordable price.
The room size is acceptable, but unless you specifically request it be cleaned, it won't be cleaned.
The hotel was very well located, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
It's very close to all the attractions, very safe in downtown, and the facilities in the hotel are also very good!
Parking garage connected to hotel for seamless in and out! Great hotel!

Newer than many Hiltons, and the lake view is great, but it's just too dry.
The lake view is absolutely stunning.
I was ripped off by this room. The so-called corner room is shown in the picture, haha. The building is too low, the highest being only seven floors. Apart from the lake, there's almost no special scenery to see. It's really not worth the price!
The room is situated in the middle of the lake, jutting out from the land, with a view of the entire Lake Michigan from the window. Nearby attractions include a Ferris wheel and other recreational facilities, as well as numerous restaurants. The hotel room felt very new.
Magnificent views from my room in the morning. A prime location. Recommended for stay to enjoy the sea view.

Excellent day everything was picture. Perfect love their rooftop bar. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. The price point was phenomenal.
The room was spacious and clean, and the environment was nice.
The Godfrey has a great location. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, just don’t get an end room on the 10th floor. Right outside my end room were the strobe lights for the top of the building. The curtains do not cover the windows fully so the strobe lights come through making your room a rave until midnight. I went to bed around 10pm each night and fought to sleep with the dancing lights...
The Godfrey nails it when it comes to location—smack in the middle of River North with everything walkable. The rooftop bar is a real highlight: great views, solid drinks, and a fun scene without trying too hard. Now for the con: the bed. It was very soft. Like, sink-in-and-question-your-spine soft. If you're into that, great. If you're someone who likes to wake up without a back spasm, maybe bring...
Went for a business trip, has a very cool rooftop bar and a restaurant. Great rooms, great products in the bathroom as well. Good views depending on the side you get. Room service was top notch. Although getting water is a pain, the front desk only gives you 2 small bottles at a time.
We stayed at the Godfrey for our honey moon. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel was so clean. This hotel is about a mile from Michigan avenue and other hidden gems such as a wonderful steakhouse. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating it was a little more expensive but I would stay here over and over again! Highly recommend!

Still under construction so no amenities, paper thin walls, no house keeping at all, unaccommodating staff, I will be staying elsewhere next time. Better options in this price point.
Always a great stay at a Virgin hotel. The location in Chicago couldn't get any better. Only a few hundred meters from the river, close to Grant Park, many high-end shops, the Riverwalk, and too many grwst restaurants to ever visit in 10 trips! The rooms are spacious, clean & well-appointed. Everything you would expect from the Virgin brand. If you're in Chicago, check this place out.
The roof top bar was closed. Last year the hotel had events at the bar and roof top. This time everything closed early (bar) or was shut down (roof top)
The extremely courteous and helpful staff! From the Valet to the check in and even the bell hop, all made our stay enjoyable! Keep up the great work!
A flawless grand king room having three contiguous but separate and spacious rooms: a living room, large bathroom and bedroom. Each easily closed off from the other by a sliding door. Amenities in the room were unique and practical for a guest or traveled. The shower is large with bench seat, central shower ahead and detachable head. Premium scented cleansing accessories and two separate vanities...
Was charged $70 of amenity fees and upon showing up was told the rooftop bar was closed. Still charged the amenity fees. Staff kind of just had no answer for this at all when so brought up it was pretty ironic that I was charged $70 when the staple amenity wasn’t even open. Rooms were clean and nice but was disappointed no rooftop bar as we were looking forward to it and it’s why we booked the hotel...

We had a remarkable stay at The Felix. Our check-in agent, Marina, was amazing. She always greeted us with a warm smile and hello. She made the best cocktails. Marina went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and the bed was so very comfortable. Never had stayed at The Felix, but it’s great location and friendly staff will be are go to for our next trip to Chicago.
good location, clean and neat place. extra city tax(26$) per day was a surprise, informed after the booking.
The hotel's location was great, close to Liverpool North and Jeoncheon Station. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that there was a water problem on my last day, so I had to shower with cold water...
The hotel is very clean, Sanitation: Very good Service: Enthusiastic, the overall experience is very good, Environment: Beautiful. Overall, the service is very good, but there is no hot water for showering, which is not very convenient. The location is good, it is very convenient to go anywhere, and it is also close to other places on foot.
The room is small, but the location is good and convenient for going anywhere. Everything else is OK

the location is great:  you can easily find food(shake shack, Starbucks) nearby. It is right next to a bus stop, where you can go to main tourist spots within 15 mins.  I love how the room is decorated, it's pretty and exquisite!  It would be better if vending machines and more modern drinking fountains are introduced.
Pros: The room is very beautiful, the overall decoration is very exquisite, the breakfast downstairs is very American style, and the portion is very large. Cons: The mattress has been used for a very long time, the support is very poor, there is a very obvious depression when lying on both sides, and my neck got stiff on the first night, and it was not relieved until I changed hotels.
The room was clean and very nice
Nice room, affordable price and good location
The location is very good. The buffet breakfast is average. The breakfast served is delicious.
The hotel is nicely decorated and relatively new, but the downside is that the soundproofing is extremely poor! The hotel was in a great location. The staff was helpful and professional. When we first got there, we were confused because the hotel lobby is on the second floor, but we were directed to where we needed to go. Great Hotel and friendly staff
Wonderful and affordable location in the heart of Chicago. The reception is very friendly. You can save lot of time for the activities in the downtown. Everything was on the walking distance. If they can improve their breakfast options a bit, that will be great. Definitely recommend it.
I stayed here on Labor Day weekend. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and gave great service. They all even greet you when you walk in or leave. The hotel has a free two-hour long happy hour and continental breakfast. It was in a great location, not far from Michigan Avenue. The room was really nice. One cool touch they had was Tumi soaps. I’ve never seen a hotel with that. I want to...
Really terrific stay! Room was spacious, clean, and updated nicely. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast were a pleasant surprise. The staff we encountered were extremely hospitable. The icing on the cake is the location in River North—fabulous. Would happily stay again, highly recommend. My one critique is only with the website—it’s glitchy. It gave me a lot of grief when I tried to book directly...
My boyfriend and I were in town just for the night. We didn't check in until almost 6 p.m.--it was convenient to have some good restaurants right across the street, by the way :) Our room was spotless. I stayed at the hotel for two nights and three days in late December 2025. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The heating system in my room was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. During my entire stay, there was no housekeeping service or towel replacement, which was very inconvenient. The building also feels quite old; even the elevator rattled whenever it moved...
I could overlook the minor inconveniences, such as the poor service and occasional rudeness of a receptionist, but two major issues made my stay uncomfortable. First, my room was extremely dark as it faced an interior courtyard with little natural light. Second, there was pet fur everywhere, which was especially problematic since I have allergies. I did not see any prior warning that these rooms allowed...
Our room on the 8th was spotless and well-kept. Location was perfect for easy access to the Lyric Opera Theatre. Our only complaint was the breakfast. Plan on bringing your own or eating elsewhere.
Breakfast without eggs, bacon and cheese, 😩😩😩
It is near the bus stop, convenient to travel, breakfast is ok, room is clean.
There is a refrigerator, microwave, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. The shower head is fixed to the wall. The location was good. I recommend it.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities that feel kind of luxurious. We especially loved the huge tub in our room. Also, the staff was amazing. One gripe we had is that we paid quite a bit more for a lake view room and we were on the eighth floor, which did not really afford much of a view. We called the front desk to see if we could get a higher floor and they said there was nothing available...
✨An Unforgettable Stay at Park Hyatt Chicago ✨ I had the absolute joy of celebrating my mom’s retirement with a special staycation at the newly renovated Park Hyatt Chicago — and I can honestly say, it was perfection from start to finish. Everything about this hotel was perfection. Front desk service was the best Ive experienced, their conceirge was so sweet and kind, all of the front door-men were courteous. I spent 6 nights in May 2025, experiencing 2 different rooms. The stay was overall fine but far from being perfect. The rooms are the highlight of the stay. They are specious, feels luxurious, providing a great view (for the tower/lake view ones) and very good bathroom. The Spa is a true disappointment for such hotel: the steam room and pool feels tier 2 and old, miles away from any equivalent other...
We stopped in in Chicago a few weeks ago for a few days and stayed in the Park Hyatt hotel and with the ocean view. Very nice hotel and rooms are great. Well thought out design like automatic night lights and large tub, and one of the few Park Hyatts I've been to recently where the light switches make sense and were easy to use. Breakfast at NoMi was fantastic. A little disappointed at the checkin experience though, but perhaps that was an outlier.

Make sure to ask about parking in advance. The hotel is right in the city center, next to the Chicago River. From the floor-to-ceiling balcony, you can lie back and watch the scenery and people passing by.
The hotel's location is fantastic! The rooms are well-equipped and artistically decorated. It's very close to several famous attractions, all within walking distance. Highly recommended.
Absolutely best hotel for the trip. Top notch on comfort level. The only complaint I have is the hot chocolate at lobby was not available during our stay. Sad.
The location is excellent, right in the city center by the river, and the hotel's design is very unique. The room is spacious and extremely clean. The staff are also very nice. However, the area felt a bit unsafe at night, and there were holes in the bedding, which shouldn't happen at a hotel of this caliber.
Wonderful location. Right by Chicago Riverside. 3 minutes from nearest CTA Train (7 minutes walk to Blue Line Train for ORD Airport). Breakfast in onsite restaurant, Perilla, tasty and substantial, with 10% off for hotel guests. Staff friendly, accommodating and genuine.
Stylish, Thoughtful, and Worth It Loved our stay at L7 Lotte Chicago! Perfect location, super clean, and the bed was incredibly comfy. This hotel is on its last leg. If you’re looking for a place to just rest your head at night, it does the job. It’s one of those places that if you touch it wrong it’s gonna break.
