I liked the room decor, the staff was very friendly and the fitness center was clean, well stocked and light.
Joyce and Jean really made my stay at the Chicago Athletic Association one of the most stellar experiences I’ve ever had. They both went above and beyond to make sure I had whatever I needed and the attentiveness for the staff at large was impeccable. Check-in was a breeze and from there the accommodations were top-tier. The room was wonderfully appointed, and the hotel amenities could not be beaten...
The location couldn’t be better—right across from The Bean. The hotel is gorgeous, old-style elegance with a beautiful, antique-like bar, a cozy fireplace, and fabulous wooden details throughout. The food and drinks were excellent.
The service was outstanding and attentive, from the bellman to the janitorial staff. The rooms are spacious, with a very comfortable large king bed. Overall, a great experience...
Room was great the bar was a bit loud and they now have part of the lobby as restaurant which is kinda annoying but forgivable for how nice the hotel is
The best place to stay in Chicago! Friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Great attention to detail to make our stay memorable!
Everything was great. Location was amazing right across the street from millennium park. Priceless.

My room was very clean. The stay was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. Since my room was ready they even let me check in early!
There are 2 restaurants in this hotel. We had drinks at the one near the lobby and we ate at the ROOF. The food was delish! The environment was fun. We were worried that it was going to be more for the 20 something crowd, but there were adults of every age...
A great experience. Located in the heart of the city, with the station underground, perfect for those heading to the marathon starting line. Traveling to and from the airport by train is convenient and inexpensive. Highly recommended!
Perfect location with a hospitality staff.
Perfect location with a hospitality staff.
This hotel was perfect! Located next to Riverwalk and basically everything in the downtown area. I had the King Spa River view room and it was amazing. The view was perfect and the tub was on point.
I had an amazing stay. The only issue was the rooftop, It was always booked for a private event so hotel guests had no access

Very nice location in Chicago downtown with affordable price.
The room size is acceptable, but unless you specifically request it be cleaned, it won't be cleaned.
The hotel was very well located, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
It's very close to all the attractions, very safe in downtown, and the facilities in the hotel are also very good!
Parking garage connected to hotel for seamless in and out! Great hotel!

Excellent day everything was picture. Perfect love their rooftop bar. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. The price point was phenomenal.
The room was spacious and clean, and the environment was nice.
The Godfrey has a great location. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, just don’t get an end room on the 10th floor. Right outside my end room were the strobe lights for the top of the building. The curtains do not cover the windows fully so the strobe lights come through making your room a rave until midnight. I went to bed around 10pm each night and fought to sleep with the dancing lights...
The Godfrey nails it when it comes to location—smack in the middle of River North with everything walkable. The rooftop bar is a real highlight: great views, solid drinks, and a fun scene without trying too hard.
Now for the con: the bed. It was very soft. Like, sink-in-and-question-your-spine soft. If you're into that, great. If you're someone who likes to wake up without a back spasm, maybe bring...
Went for a business trip, has a very cool rooftop bar and a restaurant. Great rooms, great products in the bathroom as well. Good views depending on the side you get.
Room service was top notch. Although getting water is a pain, the front desk only gives you 2 small bottles at a time.
We stayed at the Godfrey for our honey moon. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel was so clean. This hotel is about a mile from Michigan avenue and other hidden gems such as a wonderful steakhouse. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating it was a little more expensive but I would stay here over and over again! Highly recommend!

It was a great stay! Very accommodating. Super close to the river, bean, and other tourist spots.
I stayed at this hotel during my recent business trip to the US, and overall, I was very satisfied.
The room was clean and well-appointed, and the bedding was comfortable.
The staff was friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, and it was located in the heart of the city, which was perfect.
Nice located place if you’re looking for a convenient hotel to explore the Chicago Bean area.
The room is not soundproof, and the sound from the corridor can be heard clearly. The sanitation has to be urged before someone comes to clean up. Overall it is pretty good and the surrounding area is quite convenient.
Very central hotel with excellent facilities and services. Free coffee and water. Very comfortable bed. There is a bar downstairs. Modern and welcoming.
Location is perfect and a really clean hotel. However, not many amenities provided (for e.g no toothbrush, etc and need to pay for slippers)

Great Hotel and friendly staff
Wonderful and affordable location in the heart of Chicago. The reception is very friendly. You can save lot of time for the activities in the downtown. Everything was on the walking distance. If they can improve their breakfast options a bit, that will be great. Definitely recommend it.
I stayed here on Labor Day weekend. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and gave great service. They all even greet you when you walk in or leave.
The hotel has a free two-hour long happy hour and continental breakfast. It was in a great location, not far from Michigan Avenue.
The room was really nice. One cool touch they had was Tumi soaps. I’ve never seen a hotel with that.
I want to...
Really terrific stay! Room was spacious, clean, and updated nicely. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast were a pleasant surprise. The staff we encountered were extremely hospitable. The icing on the cake is the location in River North—fabulous. Would happily stay again, highly recommend.
My one critique is only with the website—it’s glitchy. It gave me a lot of grief when I tried to book directly...
My boyfriend and I were in town just for the night. We didn't check in until almost 6 p.m.--it was convenient to have some good restaurants right across the street, by the way :) Our room was spotless. I liked the hotel. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was cute. The location is fantastic.
We had a remarkable stay at The Felix. Our check-in agent, Marina, was amazing. She always greeted us with a warm smile and hello. She made the best cocktails. Marina went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and the bed was so very comfortable. Never had stayed at The Felix, but it’s great location and friendly staff will be are go to for our next trip to Chicago.
good location, clean and neat place. extra city tax(26$) per day was a surprise, informed after the booking.
The hotel's location was great, close to Liverpool North and Jeoncheon Station.
There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly.
The only downside was that there was a water problem on my last day, so I had to shower with cold water...
The hotel is very clean,
Sanitation: Very good
Service: Enthusiastic, the overall experience is very good,
Environment: Beautiful. Overall, the service is very good, but there is no hot water for showering, which is not very convenient. The location is good, it is very convenient to go anywhere, and it is also close to other places on foot.

Wonderful staff and amazing hospitality. Will definitely be coming back ☺️ .
Room was small. Over rated on social media. After checking in about 20min after being there the front desk sent security to our room to tell us only 4 people can be in the room which is also plastered on the wall before going on the elevator and in the docs to sign when checking in. Me and my daughter along with her 2 friends were there to celebrate her birthday and that was not a nice start to our...
Amazing service, rooms a little dated but very comfortable and clean.
I will definitely be staying there again
I love that The hotel provides a bowl of clean water and treats for dogs at their entrance
Lovely 🌹
The hotel was in a great location. The staff was helpful and professional. When we first got there, we were confused because the hotel lobby is on the second floor, but we were directed to where we needed to go. The hairdryer in my room didn't work, so I let the front desk know so that they could get it replaced. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the rooftop wasn't available...

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and three days in late December 2025.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
The heating system in my room was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep.
During my entire stay, there was no housekeeping service or towel replacement, which was very inconvenient.
The building also feels quite old; even the elevator rattled whenever it moved...
I could overlook the minor inconveniences, such as the poor service and occasional rudeness of a receptionist, but two major issues made my stay uncomfortable. First, my room was extremely dark as it faced an interior courtyard with little natural light. Second, there was pet fur everywhere, which was especially problematic since I have allergies. I did not see any prior warning that these rooms allowed...
Our room on the 8th was spotless and well-kept. Location was perfect for easy access to the Lyric Opera Theatre. Our only complaint was the breakfast. Plan on bringing your own or eating elsewhere.
Breakfast without eggs, bacon and cheese, 😩😩😩
It is near the bus stop, convenient to travel, breakfast is ok, room is clean.
There is a refrigerator, microwave, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. The shower head is fixed to the wall. The location was good. I recommend it.

Room was excellent. Everything was clean and the amenities were fantastic. Staff was very warm and helpful. Will go back
This is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities that feel kind of luxurious. We especially loved the huge tub in our room. Also, the staff was amazing. One gripe we had is that we paid quite a bit more for a lake view room and we were on the eighth floor, which did not really afford much of a view. We called the front desk to see if we could get a higher floor and they said there was nothing available...
✨An Unforgettable Stay at Park Hyatt Chicago ✨
I had the absolute joy of celebrating my mom’s retirement with a special staycation at the newly renovated Park Hyatt Chicago — and I can honestly say, it was perfection from start to finish.

Everything about this hotel was perfection.
Front desk service was the best Ive experienced, their conceirge was so sweet and kind, all of the front door-men were courteous. I wish we could extend our vacation!

I spent 6 nights in May 2025, experiencing 2 different rooms.
The stay was overall fine but far from being perfect.
The rooms are the highlight of the stay. They are specious, feels luxurious, providing a great view (for the tower/lake view ones) and very good bathroom.

We stopped in in Chicago a few weeks ago for a few days and stayed in the Park Hyatt hotel and with the ocean view. Great location, highly recommendation 👍
The environment didn't match the pictures.
I’m not sure if this was a problem with Trip.com, but when I booked the room, the photos showed a microwave and a refrigerator. However, when I got the room, neither was there. It was my first time staying at a hotel without a fridge. The bed creaked so much that even when my child moved, it made loud noises, especially around the edges. The room was also very small and not great overall. The only...
Staff and location great my only complaint which has been mentioned was the elevators only 2 small that took only five people for a 12 floors + cues at check in and check out as well as the staff but overall great stay
I was so pleased with my stay at the Hotel Saint Clair. I arrived in Chicago very early and they allowed me to check my bag until check in. After a morning of exploring, I came back to the hotel tired from traveling and they were able to get me in my
room an hour early. The room was cozy and clean. Great location, friendly staff, I would definitely stay here again.
The location is excellent. The only minor issue was a bit of a wait for check-in and check-out during busy times. But honestly, considering the price, location, and facilities, there's nothing to complain about.

The hotels location was great for going to the Chicago theater. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was very fast and efficient. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Only downside was one of the elevators was out of service so there was a little bit of a wait to use the only working one.
Totally surprised by all the great reviews. The location was great and the staff was friendly. Beyond that this was not what we were expecting and was not a pleasant stay. The room was not as pictured. No chair or table or anywhere to sit other than the bed. Our room was directly above the entrance and loud music played continuously which could be heard through the wall all night long. One elevator...
Make sure to ask about parking in advance. The hotel is right in the city center, next to the Chicago River. From the floor-to-ceiling balcony, you can lie back and watch the scenery and people passing by.
The hotel's location is fantastic! The rooms are well-equipped and artistically decorated. It's very close to several famous attractions, all within walking distance. Highly recommended.
Absolutely best hotel for the trip. Top notch on comfort level. The only complaint I have is the hot chocolate at lobby was not available during our stay. Sad.
The location is excellent, right in the city center by the river, and the hotel's design is very unique. The room is spacious and extremely clean. The staff are also very nice. Still under construction so no amenities, paper thin walls, no house keeping at all, unaccommodating staff, I will be staying elsewhere next time. Better options in this price point.
The location was great and made it easy to navigate about the city. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and the perks of staying here were great. They offered a complimentary item from the coffee shop and hosted happy hour during my stay. My room was neat and well kept and a great place for me to land.
Room was great, staff was incredible and so friendly! Location was awesome-restaurant was closed during our stay so -1 Star but would recommend.
Staff were great but the water temp through the shower was hard to control. Even on cold it was really hot water coming out of the shower head. But otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Accommodations were comfortable overall with a couple slight disappointments. Certain aspects of the room had not been maintained (the vinyl flooring was in desperate need of repair and cleaning). Other amenities in the room were clean and fresh (such as the bed). Temperature control for the room was great, no issues there. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff at the front desk when checking in....
Our room keys didn’t work and we had to venture back downstairs. Slight inconvenience due to small mistake of writing down wrong room number. Very clean room and aesthetically unique. My husband loved the unique bed frame although the mattress was too soft and sunken. Friendly staff.

Our son attended an event at IIT and this place was a great place to stay. Just minutes from campus. The room was clean and had just been remodeled. Free parking is a bonus. A wonderful hotel, located in the city center. The beach is a 5-minute walk away, which is important to me. The hotel staff was friendly. I really liked the hotel, except that the room service didn't come every day, I had to go to reception and ask for cleaning and changing the towels. It was very well located, close to the subway and a bike station nearby, I could do everything on foot, I didn't rent a car, the breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, I really liked it and would go back.
The location is excellent, by the river in the city center, close to various attractions, cost-effective, the decoration is relatively new, and the service response is very fast. The only drawback is that there is something wrong with the bathroom design. The shower room only has a shower curtain and no waterproof barrier. Newer than many Hiltons, and the lake view is great, but it's just too dry.

I was ripped off by this room. The so-called corner room is shown in the picture, haha. The building is too low, the highest being only seven floors. Apart from the lake, there's almost no special scenery to see. It's really not worth the price!
