Very nice hotel. Small but very clean and a nice boutique look and feel. Staff was very friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable! All the basic amenities provided. Good location for walking to State street and the parks along MIchigan Ave.

I had a great big room that was as clean as they come. The staff was really nice. Free coffee in the morning in addition to the stuff in the room. The fridge was a little bigger than most hotel rooms I've been in.

Bringing wrong car from valet extended our wait to 30 minutes and there’s three valet workers we saw. Loved the room and staff though.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice room…very comfortable and spacious. I especially loved that large bathroom with its great shower! I loved the location of the place…very walkable to museums and the theater district. And the cafe next door has excellent food…we ate there every day ( twice for breakfast and once for lunch!

the location is great:  you can easily find food(shake shack, Starbucks) nearby. It is right next to a bus stop, where you can go to main tourist spots within 15 mins.  I love how the room is decorated, it's pretty and exquisite!  It would be better if vending machines and more modern drinking fountains are introduced. 

Pros: The room is very beautiful, the overall decoration is very exquisite, the breakfast downstairs is very American style, and the portion is very large. Cons: The mattress has been used for a very long time, the support is very poor, there is a very obvious depression when lying on both sides, and my neck got stiff on the first night, and it was not relieved until I changed hotels.

My wife and I were in town for a quick two nights. The Emily was in a perfect location. Several amazing restaurants were maybe two blocks away. The rooftop bar is amazing. The rooms are comfortable.

Yes room was clean and orderly with everything in place. Front desk and dining staff were professional and thoughtful. Music in restaurant was a bit high for volume, more relaxing type of music would be nice. Food was good and happy hour specials were nice. enjoyed our stay.

The Emily is a very nice hotel, but I was a little underwhelmed by it for some reason. Going into it, my impression was “new hotel with minimalist approach that has an artsy vibe.” We did find some art in one area by the elevator but I was expecting much more. We stayed in a King Deluxe and the room had everything we needed but did feel a little drab - maybe it’s the choice of paint color in the hallways...

Nice hotel in a great location. First room smelled of cigarette smoke and cannabis. We asked to be moved and it was better. Bathroom wasn’t super clean with other people’s hair. Everything else, including the water you can get for free and coffee in the morning were a nice gesture. Would recommend, esp if you don’t mind nicotine.

The bartender Renee is the absolute best hands down! She has been there for a long time she needs a decent raise and a promotion. It’s a very friendly and inviting atmosphere plenty of options on food and drinks right in the heart of downtown. 5 stars

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing, so pleasant, and accommodating. Every morning we were greeted by the front desk. The bartender at the Adamus was fantastic. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was that it's a bit dated and shows. The wallpaper was peeling and the carpets were coming up at the seams. But overall a great hotel.

I was disappointed. The bathroom walls were filthy. The vents were very filthy. The frig had a strange smell to it. Not really worth $ 500 a night for 3 kids n 2 adults.

Love this hotel chain. I’ve stayed in a Moxy in almost every city I’ve ever visited. This hotel lived up to everything I loved about the Moxy. This should be a five star review but the ac/heat for some reason was set to a motion sensor. It’s January and I keep waking up out of my sleep because the room would get ultra cold. Idk who thought of that but it’s ridiculous.

me and my friend had the best time at moxys! staff was super welcoming and our room was super nice. i loved how alive it is on friday and saturdays, the dj and vibes are great! not far from main downtown and not too close which we loved. honestly perfect for two people and i would recommend!

Beds are very comfortable and clean. Was given a room with a great view which was very much appreciated. However, the shower had a considerable amount of black mold. Not sure why you would have wallpaper in a bathroom with no ventilation. As someone who is allergic to mold this was a bit of a bummer. The rest of the hotel seemed in tip top condition and the staff were fantastic.

Great location and room for the price. Restaurant downstairs is also very nice if you wanted to grab a meal without leaving. Only a few hundred yards from Blue Line stop which goes right to the airport, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Staff was also super friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were ok for Chicago standards, small but fit the purpose. The breakfast is a disaster - they cater for all these people but they don’t have enough seating for. You had to wait for a really long time because of ill catering. The food was average. There is no water in the room.

Location is Excellent. All Best Shopping Stores Just a Walk Away. Surrounded by Many Restaurants any multiple food Options. Only short coming is Room Sizes are small with only Queen Bed. Only Few rooms with kitchenette Facilities.

Great location...close to everything downtown. Bar was packed and you need a reservation to get a seat. Check in was quick and easy and staff were friendly. Hotel is associated with Best Western but you have to book through their website in order to receive points for the stay.

Check in was super quick and hassle-free. Upon check out they refunded my deposit on my credit card within 30 minutes. The hotel has a nice cool vibe. Cool music playing. The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, comfortable beds, and a very clean environment. The bathtub was easy to use, and the internet connection was reliable and strong. It's also conveniently located very close to the University of Chicago. The breakfast, served from 7-10 AM, was delicious.

It's quite quiet, not crowded. There is a Macy's nearby, within walking distance. The price is reasonable, the waiters are quite enthusiastic, the cleaning is timely and clean.

Really great breakfast options. Not just a muffin and coffee. Mini omelettes, sausage, potatoes, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, coffee, make your own waffle, breads, scones, muffins!

This hotel was located in a perfect spot. The hotel itself was beautiful. The service was great. The breakfast wasn’t amazing but it’s also a hotel breakfast so I didn’t expect much.

We were in town to attend Loyola Universities new student tour. This hotel is conveniently located. We were pleasantly surprised with staff, cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Parking is a little difficult, so we used the valet service (quite pricey). Would definitely stay here again.

It's about a ten-minute walk to the station, and there's a supermarket a few streets away. The room was clean and there were no major issues. The counter staff are also polite and willing to help when needed.

The room is moderately sized, and the sanitary environment and facilities are all good. It is very close to the train station. There is a famous chain pizza restaurant at the door of the hotel. It is also a ten-minute walk from several famous attractions such as the Art Museum and Millennium Park. You can also walk along the riverside trail to enjoy the scenery and go shopping at the Luxury Mile.

The property is a basic small 2-story motel. Nothing unique. The pool-facing rooms are now facing an empty pool, unfortunately. The immediate spaces ( walkways, parking lot, empty pool) are a hotbed for rodents. I encountered large rodents each time I ventured in or out of the unit. Great location for easy access to the Lakefront Trail (cyclists, runners, etc). Metra Electric line is just 0.5 mile away to get back downtown and connect to anywhere else you want to go.
