Great Staff, But the Restaurant Needs Work | May 15, 2026
Overall, my stay at the Courtyard Marriott has been a positive experience, and I want to give credit where it’s due.
Front Desk — The front desk team has been consistently professional, friendly, and responsive. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were handled promptly and with a genuine smile. This is exactly what you expect from...
Airport hotels should offer one thing more than anything else: convenience
The 45 min transfer from the airport in my opinion didn’t give me that considering it was past midnight and there was no traffic whatsoever. I was told twice by an operator it will be there in 5-10 minutes…Next time I’ll just uber.
I recommend calling while waiting for the luggage.
Really like the hotel, the location to the city however they need a larger parking lot. I stayed here a few years back and they didn't charge for parking however it's now $30 however I found myself parking outside of the designated parking areas and didn't feel as though the car was in a safe location. The folks inside didn't give me any hassle so that let me know it's normal. Want to end on a positive...
We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott - Logan Airport for a long weekend in late October.
Pros:
Friendly and helpful reception staff.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Restaurant, fitness room, and Mini Market available on site.
Shuttle to and from Logan Airport was excellent.
Restaurant food was great.
Cons:
Bathtub had little to no adhesives. Very dangerous.
One of the two elevators was out of order...
The room is big, clean and feels quite new
It is a 4-minute drive from Logan Base. You can take the airport shuttle for free. There is no breakfast, but you can wash and dry your clothes. The hotel is clean, tidy, sanitary and comfortable.

Very big room, nice location. I spent two quiet nights there and fell good.
Ongoing construction during stay — business center, restaurants, and gym unavailable
Phone in room not working (line issue not fixed during stay)
Safe box not working (couldn’t be repaired on-site)
Overall, multiple maintenance issues and unavailable facilities made the stay disappointing.
Pretty good for the price, and the location is convenient.
A true "home away from home" for a new international student.
As an international student newly arrived in the U.S., Hilton Boston Back Bay was my very first landing spot. I have been staying here for two weeks while navigating the difficult process of apartment hunting—which has been incredibly stressful due to my lack of U.S. credit history and language barriers.
However, this hotel truly gave...
This was the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at during my travels. It was raining during my visit, and surprisingly, the front desk told me they didn’t have any umbrellas available—quite unbelievable for a hotel of this brand. The property was under renovation, which made the overall experience even less enjoyable. The restaurant was also underwhelming—not fancy or memorable at all.
If you're in the area...
Excellent, very clean and it also was very close to nearby restaurants

The room was great, clean and comfortable!
Staff was very helpful, and got us dinner reservations when we realized we made a mistake on the ones we made.
We were able to check in two hours early which was great since we were staying after surgery. Bed was very comfortable and location of the hotel couldn't be better is you're having surgery at mass general or mass eye&ear.
Very good and worth recommending.
Considering the price of the hotel, I am not satisfied with my stay. The room I got was in the old part where there was a lot of noise. On the first night, a DJ who played in the lobby from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. didn't let me sleep well. The rooms in the old part of the hotel are dark and not pleasant to stay in. When choosing a hotel, I was guided by the photos on the website, but they show a new part...
The bathroom was excellent, especially the walk in shower.
The room had a beautiful room of Boston.
The hotel had easy access to the subway.
As soon as you enter the hotel, it is like a nightclub. Many people are drinking together. The breakfast is very bad. The hotel includes only two breakfast options for 58 US dollars, and the portion is very small. In short, the hotel costing more than 600 US dollars per night is not cost-effective. , it is strongly not recommended to live in this hotel

Everything was fine except the management. We asked at the beginning of our stay if we could extend a late checkout because of a late flight and we kept getting told check in tomorrow check in tomorrow and then on the day we’re checking out. Oh sorry we can’t do anything with attitude like we were bothering them. Very rude for a hotel I’m paying $1000 a night for. We won’t be coming back. Everything...
The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. The service staff is very friendly and professional. It is one of the few hotels in the United States with such a strong sense of service. There are many restaurants, shopping malls, parks and other places within walking distance.
Four Seasons Boston was the most satisfying hotel in Boston during our trip. It has elegant decoration and a magical room with unlimited meals for children. Except for the high room rate, everything else received 5 stars.
The front office team & customer experience team was cooperative and supportive, even for last minute requests.

I have stayed here several times. It is indeed a good choice. I prefer the old Four Seasons to the new Four Seasons. The room is clean, the breakfast is good, and there is a girl at the front desk who can speak Chinese, which is great.

Nice hotel
Always my top choice
This is a very reliable hotel. Although rooms are not particularly special in terms of their hard products, they do a great job adding a sophisticated touch. Also, food at Henrietta’s table is very delicious with a lot of local ingredients used.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the location is convenient to Harvard and to restaurants and shopping. Housekeeping was very attentive the first 2 days of our 5 day stay, but then fell off. At one point, we vacated the room so they could clean only to return to full trash cans and dirty towels. We also had issues with an inability to stream video to our TVs, poor air/heat circulation...
Upscale hotel with a great location.
Very walkable to Harvard Square.
Relatively busy bars and restaurants as it seems to be a meeting place for many people. Room was nice, though I could definitely hear the person walking (and showering) in the room above me. Other than the noise (and the high price), a nice hotel.
Room spotless. Coffee maker a bit fiddly but fine when we figured it out. Faucet water pressure a bit weak but shower pressure was fine. Bathroom fairly compact but with good fixtures, not cramped and shower itself quite spacious. Mattress extremely comfortable. Parking $50 a day, but then again this is Cambridge. Dinner at Henrietta’s very tasty with excellent service. Room service quick and efficient...
This is the first time I've encountered a hotel booking through Ctrip that I couldn't check in. The hotel refused to check me in because they couldn't settle the charges with Ctrip. Lovely hotel with convenient T-stop right outside the door. Check-in was welcoming with recommendations of things to do in Boston. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint is there is no where to put toiletries in bathroom. Got a good rate for the room and parking on Travelzoo.
I had the absolute best experience staying here for my son’s wedding weekend, and I have to give a special shout-out to the incredible Alexandre at the front desk and Norman the doorman. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like royalty. They were warm, welcoming, and endlessly complimentary — the kind of people who turn a nice stay into an unforgettable one.

My stay at the Colonnade was great! We came for a concert. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. Alexander was wonderful! The rooftop pool and bar were a great plus. The only complaint I have is the amount of yellow jacket bees that are swarming the pool and the lounge chairs.. We ordered food and could barely eat, due to how many bees were around. The staff were very helpful in trying...
We recently stayed at The Colonnade while attending a girls’ hockey camp at Northeastern University and were extremely pleased with our experience. We booked through a discounted rate provided by Northeastern, and the property exceeded our expectations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Colonnade Hotel, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with my experience.

The location is great, in a very nice and central part of town with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Also not very far from the airport so convenient when flying in and out of town. Very impressed with this hotel. One of the better Courtyard Marriot’s I’ve stayed at. Everything was updated and the hotel and room were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful - both the front desk and bartender. Not a lot of dining options on site - but was not expecting at a courtyard. Location was perfect. I will definitely stay here again when in Boston.
This is by far one of the nicest Courtyard hotels I've stayed at in Marriott's portfolio. This property is historic and has been tastefully renovated, there's a grab & go shop in the lobby with a few pre-made food options, there are microwaves on the guest floors, and the expected amenities in each room.
The restaurant on-site serves breakfast buffet food until around 10/11am, and it's your standard...
We stayed a week and it's a great location in Boston. The rooms are a bit small though, no drawers, very little room for wardrobe. Bathroom is ok and the hot water is ample, good shower. Valets don't do much and there's no bellman either. Close to boston common, restaurants, 711, cvs, dunking, beer store is next door. Cute Pocket park down the street.
Had a wonderful stay at this Marriott property during my first visit as a solo traveler to Boston. The hospitality truly stood out from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to Gina at reception for her warm welcome and thoughtful recommendations that made the city feel like a second home. I also really appreciated Gina and her manager Anne for kindly helping me to preserve the flowers I bought...
Amazing location first off. Right opposite the Wang theater. Close to T stations, easy access to uber rides, and very close to Chinatown.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
Our room was clean and spacious.
The breakfast at Post 10 was great; lots of options and attentive wait staff.
The valet service and check out process was seamless and very fast. Highly recommend.
The bed is very soft. The chair provided is an adjustible comfort one which I think it's good for most people but not for us. I prefer a simple chair.

Boston, 101 Harborside Drive (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice, clean place and warm hotel crew, slippers, drinking water in the room and mini bar missing.
Had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor! The views of the harbor and skyline were incredible, especially at night. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and the airport shuttle made everything super convenient. Would definitely stay here again!
The bed was big and the room was clean. But the service was poor. I called room service to send two toothbrushes and two pairs of slippers. The first time I waited for three hours, I got a pair of slippers and a toothbrush. The second time I got a toothbrush and two toothpastes. In the end, I only got one pair of slippers. I was too lazy to call, so I had to take turns wearing them.
It's OK, the service is good, and they will pick you up at the airport. The location is very good.
The service staff were excellent and very helpful. The view from the room was beautiful, offering a great look at the airport and planes taking off and landing. There is a shuttle bus service to the airport, making it ideal for staying before a flight, as it's only 5-10 minutes away from the airport.
What an incredible location! Nestled between the airport and the harbor, the views are absolutely priceless. It’s the perfect escape, offering both convenience and breathtaking scenery. Every time I’m in Boston, I make it a point to return to my favorite spot — the Hyatt. It’s simply a must!

Beautiful property right on the wharf, with impeccably appointed rooms. Staff was professional and attentive. Excellent restaurants and overall outstanding stay.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were excellent and cleaned to a very high standard.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast each day and the staff were amazing as was the food.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was run down and had to pay extra for early check in and a cot. Location was great to get to TD Garden.
Overall clean, a little noisy, the hotel is old
This property is well located near public transport, Mass General Hospital, good restaurants and a Whole Foods which we found helpful. Very friendly and professional
Overall it's good, but the room this hotel gives is not facing the view room, and there is no bottled water. You have to ask the front desk for one bottle a day.
The room is comfortable, clean and the service is friendly. I took my two children to spend spring break. The location is good and it is convenient to go to museums and universities. Both adults and children are very satisfied and happy.
The hotel is located in the Back Bay area of downtown Boston, with a good and safe location. The subway (Green Line Kenmore Station) is next to the hotel, and it takes about ten minutes to walk to the core area of Newbury Street in the commercial district. The lobby on the first floor is under renovation, and the lobby on the second floor is quite small. The rooms are very nice. We paid for an upgrade which wasn't worth it as we were looking at another exterior of the building, no view. Other wise the hotel was clean, bed is very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would like it if the bar stayed open later... 10 pm on a weekend is too early to close.

Everything about this hotel (except for the valet parking and the stupid "resort fee" which I absolutely detest) makes it my new favorite place in Boston. This is probably the oldest-looking Ritz Carlton that I have visited. It is just like a normal hotel. The location is great, but everything else just doesn't look like a Ritz-Carlton. You will feel this the moment you get of the car. However, it is Boston and everything is overpriced.
The location is great. Up to luxury hotel standard in the US. But not comparable to the other Ritz Carlton especially in Asia.
We celebrated our 44th anniversary with an overnight stay in Boston, and for the third year in a row, The Ritz-Carlton, Boston was our top choice—and once again, it did not disappoint. April is such a lovely time to visit the city: the flowering trees and spring bulbs are in full bloom, and the location is ideal for walking through Boston Common, the Theatre District, Newbury Street, and the Copley...
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel, while visiting for almost a week.
I'd like to call out specifically Brian Peatfield, the front desk manager, and Ryan McDonnell, the concierge.

We held a offsite executive meeting at the Le Meridien in Cambridge. Went well! Ashley and Kara took care of every single detail and made the meeting run smoothly without any issues. Thank you to all the staff there, A/V, catering, service! Everybody there! THANK YOU!
Front desk and bell staff — including Ashley and Jacob — are top-notch! Breakfast buffet is good. Onsite ATM is handy.
