Boston, 15 Beacon St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
My partner and I spent a long weekend at XV Beacon, and overall, the hotel has a lot of wonderful touches that make the stay feel special. We loved the complimentary bath salts, premium in-room coffee, bottled water, and even the fireplace — all small luxuries that added to the experience. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome....
I had a wonderful experience at the XV Beacon Hotel. The room and bathroom was modern and updated. I also thought the gym was clean.
After reading all the great reviews we were looking forward to our stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is very dark, dreary and depressing. The rooms natural light is blocked by the building next door. Couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature. Impossible to put makeup on in the bathroom light. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on and kept me up all night with back pain...
Wow, really nice find, perfectly positioned to walk everywhere in Boston, super nice staff, cozy boutique style hotel, nice room, Moo Restaurant attached, great breakfast. Could not fault this place 5 stars!
We have just stayed 3 nights in this hotel room 602 Everything about it is excellent. The location is perfect for the lovely Beacon Hill area and the park, also not far from the wharfs. Our room was clean, comfortable with every amenity, lovely decor and relaxing to put up your feet after a days sight seeing . There was a little road noise but hey its a buzy city. We enjoyed having room service for...
XV Beacon is located right in the heart of Boston directly next to the State House. Whether you want to walk to the Commons/Public Gardens or Quincy Market and the North End, this hotel is situated in the perfect place for you. It’s a boutique hotel so it doesn’t have the same grandness as other comparable hotels in the area, but for the money, it’s hard to beat. Will definitely be back.

Great location, close to everything, free bottles of water at the front desk, very comfy beds and pillows .
I am at the residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Boston Seaport, and this hotel has the best service I have ever experienced. I only wanna stay at Marriott hotels if they’re going to have this level of service special shout out to Ashly for answering every annoying question I had thru chat with graciousness and thoroughness. To Veronica & Widelfry for going above and beyond to accommodate parents...
Beautiful hotel. Newer Residence Inn with the designed rooms giving some old Boston charm. Clean rooms. Upon entry there are cookies by the wonderful and kind reception staff. LUCKY'S is a half block over and a great late night choice. Many places to eat surrounding the hotel. Parking garage is very close, but they also don't mind if you unload your car and stay in the driveway a few minutes. Very...
Cool hotel. Very new and well maintained. They upgraded me to a suite which was nice. Such a cool part of town. I’d definitely stay here again. It was a bit pricey for a residence inn… ~$650 / night. But the hotel and staff were all wonderful. So no complaints from me.
My husband and I have a home in Vermont we try to visit every season (we live primarily in South FL) and have found it easier since having a baby to fly direct into Boston, spend the night, and drive the rest of the way the next day. Our son is a toddler now and therefore we have spent many nights together in Boston at this point, and have tried a variety of different hotels. This location became our...

It's decent, given the price point.
Wifi not working, no key during the stay because key system went down for 2 days. Noisy at night.
This was a good place to stay, not too far from airport or cruise port. Easy check in/out. Included breakfast was good . Appeared to be an older building, with a outdoor pool in the middle, but in good condition. Perfect for my needs. Will stay here next time I cruise out of Boston.
A motel style of hotel, quick check in check out service, breakfast was good simple continental. Easy access.
Pros:
We like the complimentary breakfast. We also like the free shuttle service to/from the metro station.
Cons:
The internet is very slow.
Staff is good and very friendly

Room smelled like dirty vacuum. Blanket was old and too thin. Gross duvet cover. Not enough parking
Staff great in all ways. Bed could have been warmer re: blankets, etc. Parking was limited though we got a space and we recognize that it is in Boston/Cambridge. Breakfast was very good. Entire facility was very clean
Staff seemed nice. Check in was smooth once we figured it out. (The website given in the email to check in does not work. Perhaps the app provided more info, but I did not download it.) Park in front in the turn around, go in and get your room keys, which will be used to get into the first come/first served parking garage. (There's another garage right next to the one you use for the hotel. Don't use...
Pros: Free parking and excellent free breakfast. Rooms were clean once we got the right one.
Cons: Housekeeping is every other day, and the TV channel selection is limited.
Great stay, convenient location. The room was spotless, breakfast was great, and your staff were friendly and helpfull.
The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and of a comfortable size. The breakfast selection was also quite good. It was great that it was within walking distance to TD Garden, and although I had to cross a bridge, I felt safe even when walking late at night.

Room was clean, friendly staff, perfect location for hockey fans attending a game
The hotel is on the older side, but updates are many and it is a decent place to stay in Boston.
Fantastic property. Old and charming but well maintained and very clean, comfortable and great location.
Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
Excellent service from friendly and welcoming staff. Convenient location to T stations and highways.
Would return and recommend.

Very cute hotel, good value for money.
This hotel is the best, the staff is extremely helpful, great rooms, really convenient for concerts and all the things happening around Fenway. The parking is a highway ripoff, but that's not a complaint of The Verb, it's just what the market is. But $73 to park a car for a night is ridiculous, There are garages for a fraction of that across the street.
Great personnel. Friendly and very professional. Room was awesome
Super unique experience exceeding our expectation. Everyone was super nice and accommodating, from check in to breakfast service. The music theme was well done, not cliche like Hard Rock. Got to borrow vinyls for the room which came equipped with record players. Would definitely stay here again.
Verb has its own bar, swimming pool and other facilities. It is comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly. The location is convenient and it is close to supermarkets such as Target and Star. I recommend this hotel.
Although the corridor is a bit narrow, the room is ok. I will consider staying here next time👍

Wonderful location. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant has great food too.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the Bell Hop Edison and the parking valet and ready to help!!! The car was tagged and taken and Edison helped us into the hotel lobby. He was great. Checking was easy and we went off to find a very clean and appointed room. The stay was very good, and checkout was just as good. Great experience!!!
Room was comfortable for the price and location closest to the TD garden. Staff were great! Allowed early check in which was so wonderful with no issues. I really appreciated that because we were exhausted from our flight.
The entire staff at Indigo was fabulous! Taliah, Ryan, and Jonathon were amazing bartenders at Blakes! It became our own "Cheers" for a couple of days. I will recommend to everyone I know heading your way!
Staff was great!! A king suite with one bathroom left us wanting more (teenage daughter needs her time) location is amazing!!! Very walkable to so much! Overall we would for sure stay there again.
Strategically located near the North train station and nearby pubs. Super love this hotel - its quite small but cozy. Will definitely go back here as this is also near Little Italy.

Wonderful staff, comfortable clean and boutique feel. Highly recommend for business travel. Great location too
Design of the lobby in the room, quality of the mattresses, friendliness and responsiveness of staff.
The only problem we had was the TV could not connect to our phone to play Netflix; the receptionist said another room was having the same problem and it could not be solved at that time
We arrived exactly at check-in time, but the room was not available until half an hour later.
The room was wonderful, the bed was heaven. Room service was delicious and the overall aesthetic and ambience of the lobby and common areas were fabulous
The front desk (Joyce and her coworker who wears glasses) helped to resolve the issue that my booking of two queen beds became a king size bed in the hotel system. It took some time but Joyce and her coworker eventually helped resolving it.
So what a hotel. A small issue was handled with disproportionate kindness! The ambiance is lively, the space is luxe, the team from bellhop to GM were all exceptional. Thank you all for my short stop with you

Love the ice machine and the bay window seats Beds were okay Shower pressure was excellent Rooftop bar has good drinks but very salty food
The room is old, but the location is good, close to the subway entrance, commercial district, convenient to MIT and Harvard University, quiet, no noisy places
The room is very clean, the environment is clean, the service facilities are good, safe, and the facilities are complete. However, the room is not soundproof. If someone in the next room talks at night, it will affect your sleep.
It was clean and very nice, especially the location, but the only downside was that the wifi didn't work well. If it weren't for that, I would have liked it completely. I think I'll use it again next time.
The location is very good, relatively safe, and convenient for eating. It is also close to MIT and Harvard within walking distance. There is a target supermarket nearby, and there is a Korean supermarket with a lot of things, including fresh fruits and vegetables. There is also a self-service hot pot restaurant, which costs 27.99 dollars/person and is very crowded. However, it seems that the hotel...
A real gem in the heart of Cambridge! Convenient check-in/out, the app is really useful, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Nice clean spacious room. Great location. Coffee in lobby in morning. We didn’t spend much time there other than sleeping but we’re pleased with accommodations, staff was nice and helpful.
Everything was beautiful, clean and top notch! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Would stay here again and again!
Boutique hotel was cute design. Restaurant had great food and service. I was assigned a room facing another building within a few feet of small window in room. Felt like a college dorm room. Bathroom was nice and modern. In sum, just disappointed in the room assignment since I paid $700+ a night.
Awesome location & very clean with convenient food options & walking distance to shoreline as well as little Italy
Bed not comfortable and toilet low. The shower was cold more than hot. The room was clean and staff friendly. Valet parking on site. Restaurant had good meal but not a lot of options on the menu, Enjoyed the time near TD but would probably opt for something closer to bus station.

Clean room and clean facility. Nice for the price point for a quick overnight stay. Convenient location and nearby MBTA stop.
Small boutique hotel, which translates into a converted studio apt, sans kitchen. Lobby is a desk and elevator door. It’s basic. But, well kept, except carpeting starting to wear. Bed and pillows comfy. Good linens and towels. My window was 4th story of 6, right on top of the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston St. Room was surprisingly quiet. Nice neighborhood. Staff were friendly and accommodating
Great guy at desk enabled an early check in ...have been here before .great location, simple small room w nice view of library across Boylston..ez walk to everything and Copley T stop 3 minute walk.. restaurant looked great but we had other plans w an old friend!

The hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality.
However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests.
During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information...
Location was central to Newbury St, Copley Square and not too far away to Boston Commons.
Rooms were decent but the windows did not do much to keep the noise out. So you would be hearing a lot of noise that may disrupt your sleep.
Toilet were a bit small so we'd need to balance out toiletries across various ledges and railings.
Also, the window of our room was broken so we couldn't lift the window...
A very nice, clean hotel. It's very centrally located, about a 10-minute walk from the public garden. Despite this central location, it's a very quiet area with beautiful houses and streets nearby. It can get a bit noisy downstairs in the evenings, as the hotel bar is quite popular (even with non-guests).
Conveniently located hotel located a few blocks from the commuter rail backbay station. Hotel staff were great and allowed us to check in early upon arrival and store our luggage at check out so we could further explore the city. The rooms are small, bedding is best for someone under 5’9, otherwise it was a great home base for a weekend trip to the city.
This is a lovely thoughtful hotel and very comfortable beds. Loads of funky or slightly different amenities....that do make your holiday feel special and help out a lot.
Thank you for the great service and hope to stay again
Love it. I come here for Boston Marathon. It is so convenient that I walk like turtle after race and arrive the hotel within 15 minutes. I can rest and take a nap immediately after race.

Alright so, everything about this place is mixed. I will explain further. Crew are mixed; polite helpful members and some of them aren't friendly whatsoever. Mixed rooms: definitely clean, but uncomfortable old beds, old furniture and outdated floors and bathrooms. The toilets don't flush properly. Mixed towards almost ugly old fashion decor everywhere. The pros: we liked the area and definitely cheaper...
Location is the best part of this hotel! The room was clean, large and nice, with a kitchenette. The service at the hotel was terrible. Basically none. Carry your own bags, not enough towels, couldn't check in before three ( I don't mean you couldn't get into the room, you couldn't even check in!) No-one to help store luggage, etc. But the location and price are good enough to make me stay there again
It's a very old building with everything very old, including the sink and bathroom essentials. Nothing fancy but decent for your stay. No complimentary breakfast or anything. Room service seems mediocre but neat. It's conveniently located by the water front and the mass general hospital so that's a plus. Don't go in expecting anything great but be assured that it is a decent place.
It looked much better on their website than in person, but I guess that could be said about most places. Parking is off-site and a short walk a way, but still an inconvenience. No amenities to speak of, vending machines or ordering delivery if you want food in your room. Our bathroom had zero counter space, you were either putting stuff on the sink or the top or the toilet, that was it. The location...
The location is excellent. You can get anywhere easily from here. The shuttle is a shared bus, so it is not a "point A to point B service". The rooms are more like dorms, but they are clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They have a full gym and workout center that we didn't have time to use, but it looked great.

Stayed night before flying as we live in WMass. Be aware shuttle only runs hourly or on demand. Just 20" to airport in morning, but getting ride back to hotel on other end of trip took 1 hour. Sketchy neighborhood. I would not plan to stay here again.
There was no internet the whole time and when my key stopped working, which was probably my fault from putting it near my phone, the front desk acted extremely annoyed to have to assist.
Not a bad hotel. We booked this traveling back home, and it sufficed for a one night stay. The room wasn't as clean as I'd appreciate but the bed was, and it was comfortable enough for the night. The staff were friendly and the location was ideal for our needs.
Within the vicinity of many stores and restaurants. The room is quiet, spacious, and clean. Housekeeping is on a daily basis, a rare service seen nowadays. Breakfast is plenty and miscellaneous. Just I wished the hotel parking was free; they charged $10/day.
Nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. There is a shuttle that can bring you to the JFK subway station, we used the shuttle and it was very convenient. Rooms were good. House keeping did a great job. We enjoyed our stay.
My best friend and I recently stayed here for one night. Our check-in experience was quick & smooth. Unfortunately once we got our key and headed to our room we were very disappointed. I arrived late at night and was happy that the hotel offers pick up service from airport. Just need to give them a ring. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is filling with many choices. Coffee is available with choices of light roast and dark roast.
This is an airport hotel with free shuttle to airport and car rental services. It is convenient for our family. There is also a supermarket across the road. Groceries there are cheap.
We had a great stay; the hotel was neat and clean. The beds were also comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The only disappointment was the $25 parking fee, especially considering its location outside of the city.
The room is clean, the surrounding environment is nice, the breakfast is standard, overall it's OK
The room size is OK, but for 1500 yuan, there is almost no service, so the cost performance is not high! If my friend hadn't already booked it and was only staying for one night, I would have just given it a try.
You can park your car for free and also make your own waffles at the breakfast time.

The location is perfect next to Harvard it made visiting my daughter very convenient even in the snow! The staff was top-notch and the rooms weee were nicely maintained ... I enjoyed the complimentary hot tea and coffee located in the lobby, but wish they had partnerships with local restaurants to deliver to hotel (leaving menus in the room to highlight recommendations for guests).
I’ve stayed here many times and I think it’s the best value in the Square. Rooms are immaculate and well-maintained. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Hotel , room, and provided breakfast were very nice and met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely disappointing stay!
For the price I paid, I expected much better. The room was tiny with small windows that let in freezing air — by the next morning, we both had sore throats from the draft. The towels were dirty, the only “toiletry” provided was a tiny piece of soap instead of proper shower gel, and parking was a complete nightmare.
To make things worse, at 8 a.m. we were woken up by...
Good: Great location Gorgeous architecture Lovely patio outback where you can eat food/ hangout Otherwise, at least in our room (34), we were pretty crowded for a group of 4. The digital check in and access was much smoother than I expected and it was helpful to use the lockers in the entrance hall before the room was available.
