I had a wonderful experience at the XV Beacon Hotel. The room and bathroom was modern and updated. I also thought the gym was clean.

After reading all the great reviews we were looking forward to our stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is very dark, dreary and depressing. The rooms natural light is blocked by the building next door. XV Beacon is located right in the heart of Boston directly next to the State House. Whether you want to walk to the Commons/Public Gardens or Quincy Market and the North End, this hotel is situated in the perfect place for you. It’s a boutique hotel so it doesn’t have the same grandness as other comparable hotels in the area, but for the money, it’s hard to beat. Will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and of a comfortable size. The breakfast selection was also quite good. It was great that it was within walking distance to TD Garden, and although I had to cross a bridge, I felt safe even when walking late at night.

This hotel is the best, the staff is extremely helpful, great rooms, really convenient for concerts and all the things happening around Fenway. The parking is a highway ripoff, but that's not a complaint of The Verb, it's just what the market is. But $73 to park a car for a night is ridiculous, There are garages for a fraction of that across the street.

Super unique experience exceeding our expectation. Everyone was super nice and accommodating, from check in to breakfast service. The music theme was well done, not cliche like Hard Rock. Got to borrow vinyls for the room which came equipped with record players. Would definitely stay here again.

Verb has its own bar, swimming pool and other facilities. It is comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly. The location is convenient and it is close to supermarkets such as Target and Star. I recommend this hotel.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the Bell Hop Edison and the parking valet and ready to help!!! The car was tagged and taken and Edison helped us into the hotel lobby. He was great. Checking was easy and we went off to find a very clean and appointed room. The stay was very good, and checkout was just as good. Great experience!!!

Room was comfortable for the price and location closest to the TD garden. Staff were great! Allowed early check in which was so wonderful with no issues. I really appreciated that because we were exhausted from our flight.

The entire staff at Indigo was fabulous! Taliah, Ryan, and Jonathon were amazing bartenders at Blakes! It became our own "Cheers" for a couple of days. I will recommend to everyone I know heading your way!

Design of the lobby in the room, quality of the mattresses, friendliness and responsiveness of staff. The only problem we had was the TV could not connect to our phone to play Netflix; the receptionist said another room was having the same problem and it could not be solved at that time

We arrived exactly at check-in time, but the room was not available until half an hour later.

The room was wonderful, the bed was heaven. Room service was delicious and the overall aesthetic and ambience of the lobby and common areas were fabulous

The front desk (Joyce and her coworker who wears glasses) helped to resolve the issue that my booking of two queen beds became a king size bed in the hotel system. It took some time but Joyce and her coworker eventually helped resolving it.

The room is very clean, the environment is clean, the service facilities are good, safe, and the facilities are complete. However, the room is not soundproof. If someone in the next room talks at night, it will affect your sleep.

A real gem in the heart of Cambridge! Convenient check-in/out, the app is really useful, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Boutique hotel was cute design. Restaurant had great food and service. I was assigned a room facing another building within a few feet of small window in room. Felt like a college dorm room. Bathroom was nice and modern. In sum, just disappointed in the room assignment since I paid $700+ a night.

Small boutique hotel, which translates into a converted studio apt, sans kitchen. Lobby is a desk and elevator door. It’s basic. But, well kept, except carpeting starting to wear. Location was central to Newbury St, Copley Square and not too far away to Boston Commons. Rooms were decent but the windows did not do much to keep the noise out. A very nice, clean hotel. It's very centrally located, about a 10-minute walk from the public garden. Despite this central location, it's a very quiet area with beautiful houses and streets nearby. It can get a bit noisy downstairs in the evenings, as the hotel bar is quite popular (even with non-guests).

Conveniently located hotel located a few blocks from the commuter rail backbay station. Hotel staff were great and allowed us to check in early upon arrival and store our luggage at check out so we could further explore the city. The rooms are small, bedding is best for someone under 5’9, otherwise it was a great home base for a weekend trip to the city.

Love it. I come here for Boston Marathon. It is so convenient that I walk like turtle after race and arrive the hotel within 15 minutes. I can rest and take a nap immediately after race.

Alright so, everything about this place is mixed. I will explain further. Crew are mixed; polite helpful members and some of them aren't friendly whatsoever. Mixed rooms: definitely clean, but uncomfortable old beds, old furniture and outdated floors and bathrooms. The toilets don't flush properly. Mixed towards almost ugly old fashion decor everywhere. The pros: we liked the area and definitely cheaper...

Location is the best part of this hotel! The room was clean, large and nice, with a kitchenette. The service at the hotel was terrible. Basically none. Carry your own bags, not enough towels, couldn't check in before three ( I don't mean you couldn't get into the room, you couldn't even check in!) No-one to help store luggage, etc. But the location and price are good enough to make me stay there again

It's a very old building with everything very old, including the sink and bathroom essentials. Nothing fancy but decent for your stay. No complimentary breakfast or anything. Room service seems mediocre but neat. It's conveniently located by the water front and the mass general hospital so that's a plus. Don't go in expecting anything great but be assured that it is a decent place.

It looked much better on their website than in person, but I guess that could be said about most places. Parking is off-site and a short walk a way, but still an inconvenience. No amenities to speak of, vending machines or ordering delivery if you want food in your room. The location is excellent. You can get anywhere easily from here. The shuttle is a shared bus, so it is not a "point A to point B service". The rooms are more like dorms, but they are clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They have a full gym and workout center that we didn't have time to use, but it looked great.

Stayed night before flying as we live in WMass. Be aware shuttle only runs hourly or on demand. Just 20" to airport in morning, but getting ride back to hotel on other end of trip took 1 hour. Sketchy neighborhood. I would not plan to stay here again.

There was no internet the whole time and when my key stopped working, which was probably my fault from putting it near my phone, the front desk acted extremely annoyed to have to assist.

Not a bad hotel. We booked this traveling back home, and it sufficed for a one night stay. The room wasn't as clean as I'd appreciate but the bed was, and it was comfortable enough for the night. The staff were friendly and the location was ideal for our needs.

Within the vicinity of many stores and restaurants. The room is quiet, spacious, and clean. Housekeeping is on a daily basis, a rare service seen nowadays. Breakfast is plenty and miscellaneous. Just I wished the hotel parking was free; they charged $10/day.

My best friend and I recently stayed here for one night. Our check-in experience was quick & smooth. Unfortunately once we got our key and headed to our room we were very disappointed. We were on the 1st floor and our room door was literally opposite of the elevator. As 2 young girls this did not make us feel very safe and it was also very noisy for us. I arrived late at night and was happy that the hotel offers pick up service from airport. Just need to give them a ring. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is filling with many choices. Coffee is available with choices of light roast and dark roast.

This is an airport hotel with free shuttle to airport and car rental services. It is convenient for our family. There is also a supermarket across the road. Groceries there are cheap.

We had a great stay; the hotel was neat and clean. The beds were also comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The only disappointment was the $25 parking fee, especially considering its location outside of the city.

The room size is OK, but for 1500 yuan, there is almost no service, so the cost performance is not high! If my friend hadn't already booked it and was only staying for one night, I would have just given it a try.

The location is perfect next to Harvard it made visiting my daughter very convenient even in the snow! The staff was top-notch and the rooms weee were nicely maintained ... I enjoyed the complimentary hot tea and coffee located in the lobby, but wish they had partnerships with local restaurants to deliver to hotel (leaving menus in the room to highlight recommendations for guests).

I really enjoyed the proximity to everything I needed. The customer service and ease of checking in and out is great. The rooms were very clean, they are smaller but fit what we needed. The room walls are thin, you can hear everything. However, I was ok with this as I wasn't in the room often.

I arrived at the hotel at 8am, and they kindly accommodated my early check-in. There was a drink bar next to the check-in counter, so I was able to relax and have a cup of coffee while I waited. I would definitely use this service again the next time I visit Harvard.
