Very happy with the service. Clean, kind, knowledgeable and always brought me items when I requested them. The concierge is always willing to assist, there’s security at the doors. Parking available - use the park and pay package with the room. A small breakfast kiosk on site as well. Easily accessible to the metro and many eating locations. I was happy with the stay for the price.
The room is a 3.5 quality room. Small but cozy. The beds are acceptable and the room is clean. The bedding is clean but not the best quality. I suspect it’s over starched? I bring my own sheets anywhere I go anyways. The windows do open but our side didn’t have screening duo to exterior work being done and they need access to the scaffolding. The curtains block out all the exterior light and the windows are thick and block out 80% of the street noise. But it is New York and a busy place.

I was asked to wait even after being an honors members for checkin. They don’t have much rooms available may be due to the location as it busy.
The rooms are very small and congested. There was a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms one could hear. Overall would rate this 3 stars.
The promotional lady gave some good deals for upcoming stays.

Right at the Heart of the City!

This is a centrally-located hotel right in the middle of the busy city of New York!

The costs are justifiable based on the quality of the hotel. Also, the subway is right around the corner, which can take you to various parts of New York at low fares (is it $2.70?).

The lobby area is beautifully designed with an artistic touch and great for photos!

I can’t remember if they charged breakfast separately!

Also, there are so many pocket-friendly restaurants right outside/opposite the hotel. And, a liqor store right ahead 🙈!

We’ve stayed at this property many times throughout the years. The location is excellent for what we like to do in NYC. Theater, etc. The parking next door is convenient and reasonable, especially this time, as it was combined with our room rate. The rooms are spacious enough, but pretty tired. The hallways are dark. I requested a new shower curtain, as the original one smelled damp and moldy. That was replaced immediately. I’ve had the shower curtain replaced at this property before at previous stays as well. All was very adequate until late last night I encountered a huge cockroach on the floor in the bathroom under the sink. My husband trapped it under a cup and then we placed the wastebasket on top of it. It was past midnight and we didn’t want to call the front desk. By the way, the phone in the room did not work. When checking out this morning we mentioned the bug encounter and were chastised for not having reported it last night. The checkout clerk was totally unfriendly and not sympathetic. No customer service. We were not offered anything for the unpleasant encounter. This was in contrast to the lovely bell staff who have been there for the many years that we have been coming to this property.

The location was excellent and staff were very nice, however the bed and pillows were awful. We didn't sleep well our entire week. The room was clean and our housekeeper was a gem; always asking if we needed anything. I appreciated the gentlemen at the door checking for guest keys in the evening too. Just get better beds & pillows. We can overlook minor decor issues or the need for paint touch ups or a new non-rusting bathroom door, but we do not like to give up on our sleep.

The staff was so friendly. The location was amazing and my room was very clean. The gift shop is pricey however right next to the hotel is a 24 hr food store. We will definitely be back.

We were given early check-in by requesting it after 8am (as instructed at the time of booking) and waiting for the rooms to be cleaned beginning at 9:30am. We got our room at 10am. We were thrilled to get some much-needed rest after a delayed overnight flight from Oregon. We were given a voucher for 2 complimentary bottles of water as the on-site restaurant was under renovation & closed. The 24-hr Times Square Diner directly across the street has amazing service, a large & diverse menu with large portions, and was very affordable in comparison to nearby restaurant options. Our room was a large corner king suite with full-size sofa and a view, but the bathroom was quite small. The door nearly hits the toilet which was snugly against the tub side, so it was uncomfortable for either of us to sit squarely on the toilet. The bathroom does not have a vent, so we showered with the door open. The bed was comfortable, but the carpets could use replacing due to excessive stains. The notepad on the desk still had bank information written on it from a prior guest. It made us question the quality or attention of the cleaning/turnover service. Our view was great as we were situated on a corner looking directly down a busy, marquis-fulled street. It was a great stay for the 1 night and the hotel location will be one we remember for future stays. Highly recommended, because despite any issues.... it has been our best stay in NYC to date. I realize that doesn't say much for the other hotels, but that has been our experience. We can sacrifice a small bathroom for the size of our room. It was fairly quiet until around 8/9am when construction began, but still fairly quiet after as we were located quite far from the noise. Would stay again & would stay longer for a reasonable price.

VERY LONG, but for anyone wondering if they should stay at this Hilton location-- no questions asked. YOU SHOULD! (very clean & AMAZING staff) Here's my personal reason why:

When I first arrived and checked into NYC i went to my Hilton Garden Inn Times Square hotel and I was greeted by the SWEETEST woman that worked the front desk. As she checked over my information she saw on my reservation that I flew in from Tampa, Florida (she also picked up on beat red face from crying previously because of all the news I was hearing throughout the day about Hurricane Irma moving westward). After she kindly apologized for the circumstance and tried lifting my spirits, she went to the back to get her manager who too was also one of the KINDEST humans I have ever met. They not only cut the price for my stay for any additional time I needed at their hotel but offered myself & my team any kind of voucher they had to make our stay "as comfortable as possible". After all was said and done at the front desk, the manager personally walked me all the way to my room and consistently offered his prayers and anything else he could give to help our situation which I was so incredibly appreciative of and taken back by his more than customer service hospitality. Before he left me at my door, he said something that I will forever remember which was "I know you're very sad and scared right now but just know that people care".

Moral of the story- It might not seem like much, but when you're in a position that you feel so helpless and someone is kind enough to show compassion and empathy to a stranger, it restores your faith in humanity and makes you realize of how there really is more good than bad in this world. It seems like today's news & society is filled with so much negativity and hostility that it's hard to believe that in big city like NYC, there are people kindhearted enough to tell a random individual that they genuinely "care".

So to wrap this up, a huge THANK YOU to the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Manger, Maurice and front desk worker, Ms. Audowa. I am beyond grateful to have met you both at the time I did :)

+ Location.
- Do not include the breakfast, it's really bad.
10.11.2019 Haleigh
+ The location was great, a very short walk to all subways and Times square and surroundinng areas.
- The front desk wasn’t helpful at all and when I had an issue with the room, I was treated very poorly.

Cheap slice. Worth the price for a quick bite

Overpriced pizza, had subway instead

Pizza was ok but not great, and overpriced at $5.75 a slice.

Worst pizza ever, and it's difficult to mess up pizza. Staff were incredibly disrespectful, and I will never eat there again.
31.08.2015 Olle
So I went in and I picked the slice that looked most delicious. And it was delicious, no doubt! Yum! But it was $6,50. For one slice. Isn't that... kinda unethical? Like... is that cool? Even for Times Square. $6,50. Just think about that for a minute. Six dollars and fifty cents for one slice of pizza. It didn't even upset me, I was just genuinely astounded. I still am. I'm dwelling in astonishment as I write this. Wow... Wow.

Excellent food and service. Our food was at our table less than 10 minutes after we ordered. All the servers were nice. Our water glasses never had the chance to get empty because the water server was consistently checking on us. Absolutely impeccable service! You MUST try the pumpkin ravioli. Very close to the theater district, so it is the perfect pre-show meal.

This resturant is an upscale seafood reasturant with great seafood and exceptional service. But despite being a seafood restaurant, Blue Fin manages to surprise me with one dish, there steak. I love steak and have had steak in many places but I have to say this steak was the best I have ever had. It was juicy but not fatty a perfect balance between juicy and tender. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Service was great- and they were accommodating towards a pre-theatre dinner. The drinks were EXCELLENT... however, was very underwhelmed with the sushi rolls. I was not a fan of the different flavors and sauces that they put into the rolls (mangos in one, mint in another- yuck). For the price point, there are much better places in the city for sushi!
15.11.2017 Braulio
Went there for the first time the decor was nice. Can't say much for the waitress that complained to the bartender about a customer buying a drink at the bar because she was taking too long to serve him. I think it's very rude and unprofessional for waiters to complain about customers especially in front of other customers and asked did he pay on top of that smh. I would have thought this would have been a high class spot but with the unfriendly staff well I should just say waitresses I could see why not. Thank God I only ordered takeout and didn't take my wife there. It would have been very unpleasant stay. I think McDonald's staff have better service and better attitudes than the staff at Blue Fin.

Although it was two years ago, it was a date I still remember to this day. The food was excellent. Our host and server was attentive, polite, and his recommendations were on point. Sorry some didn't have the experience I had. We saw a great show, had cocktails below before dinner; and were quickly seated, because we had dinner reservations. I'll never forget that wonderful evening!

A group of 7 of us had to meet here for breakfast before a client meeting. 5 of us had bags. They fed us, let us hang out for another hour and checked our bags for us while we took a meeting in the area. Such friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t ask for much more.
