It takes some time to walk to the subway. The hotel has 4–5 steps at the entrance, and we had to carry our heavy luggage by ourselves. There is a service lift, but it was locked and not available for use.
Facilities: Pretty good, relatively new.
Cleanliness: Decent.
Service: Average. We requested a double bed, but the hotel wouldn't let us change it in advance; we had to wait until we arrived to do so.
Environment: The location is alright, but not as good as the Marquis.
Flight got delayed and when we arrived, the room we booked was not available. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade us to a suite on the highest floor and overlooking the hudson river. View was fantastic. Room was spacious but just a bit dusty in some corners. Overall, a nice experience.
It is in a good location in Downtown. Starbuck is plus and their tickets to attraction points are great. We choose Mercer Labs.
Marriott hotels are always our top choice when traveling. The location is excellent; we could see the Statue of Liberty from our room. It's super convenient to the subway station, and there are many restaurant options nearby. All in all, we were very satisfied.
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, making it easy to get around. There are many restaurants nearby, each with its own unique flair. Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal, and the World Trade Center are all within easy walking distance.

This is on par with a budget hotel. The staff's attitude was decent, and the place was clean. The breakfast area got a bit chaotic due to the crowd. The room was really small. For two adults and one child, I'd recommend booking two twin beds instead of a king bed plus a sofa bed. Once the sofa bed is pulled out, there's no room left for luggage.
My stay at this hotel was pleasant but my expectations of Hyatt are better. That’s the best way to describe it. I stayed in NYC for 8 days/ 7 nights. For reference, this was my first trip to NYC, so I had limited information on the area and research was limited. I will start with what I think should be improved and end with a positive. The rooms are very small. I would say, this is ideal for a couple...
In A Nutshell:
-This Hyatt Place is in a great location close to great shopping, popular spots to sight see & walkable to Central Park.
-In addition, there are several subway stations nearby that will connect you w/ the rest of NYC.
-The free breakfast buffet was decent, but it's like being on a cruise ship, college campus or military dining facility.
-It's crowded & can get hectic, the earlier you...
The hotel is conveniently located near Times Square, though the area can be a bit noisy. The room was very small; I was traveling for business and found it difficult to work, as there wasn’t enough space to set up my laptop comfortably.
Breakfast was on par with the typical complimentary options you often see in the U.S. The dining area is relatively spacious, so finding a seat shouldn’t be an issue...
Located in the heart of the action, Hyatt Place New York City / Times Square offers a solid, reliable stay for tourists who want to be in the center of it all. The primary draw is, without a doubt, its unbeatable location. You are steps away from the dazzling lights of Broadway, major attractions, and countless dining options, making it incredibly easy to explore on foot.
The rooms are modern and...
Crowded during breakfast time and limited choice of food.

Great location. Clean room. Under renovation day time will have noise but acceptable
The hotel is ok, but the bathtub has several hairs from previous guest I guess. Location is perfect for me as I love Koreantown.
Had an amazing experience despite the snow storm in NYC. Arif, the staff was really helpful and kind. Our stay here was memorable because of him and his team.
Convenient location and room is acceptable size and clean. Staff at the lobby isn’t the most friendly and would ask for tips if you haven’t offered.
Staff were all very friendly and super amazing location

The crew was amazing.

Didn’t stay at the hotel. It’s a pity. Will try to book again.
Excellent location, very convenient for exploring nearby attractions. However, service was practically non-existent; the front desk staff were consistently aloof and unhelpful. We booked two rooms, but only one was ready for on-time check-in; the other wasn't available until after 4 PM. There's a mandatory $40 daily resort fee per room, and even Wi-Fi comes with an extra charge. Considering the high...
We stayed here over a weekend in the summer. We arrived a couple of hours early , but even by 4pm our room was still not ready, which was frustrating. We booked a family suite , but the room was sparsely equipped. We had to wait over a day for the coffee maker / hot water kettle. The sofa bed mattress was very thin and not very comfortable. The master bed bathroom sink water was either cold or...
The room was dirty. There was no bell service and no concierge. While the Times Square location is acceptable, it definitely didn't live up to the usual W Hotel standard.
The room was in a fantastic location with a great ambiance. However, the service definitely needs some improvement. I had pre-paid for breakfast, but wasn't given any vouchers during check-in. The next morning, I had to make two trips back and forth to the ground floor for breakfast because I didn't have a voucher. This made for a rather inconvenient and frustrating experience.

The hotel is reasonably well located in Midtown. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check-out is at 12:00 PM, which is a good time. The rooms are modern but not very well maintained (the sliding bathroom door was very difficult to close).
In any case, the stay was pleasant, even if the price is slightly above what the hotel offers.
overall is acceptable but the 1 of the front desk black women staff was so rude without any patience.
Mint so nice hotel thanks so much all staff are amazing really appreciate it
Rooms are small l, but that common in NYC , BUT they are exceptionally clean and comfy! Staff was amazing and professional. Loved the lobby area, very spacious and comfortable. The little coffee pastry shop was great for a quick morning coffee, but they also have a full breakfast for a few in the restaurant. Overall this was a great stay and close to everything.
Great location. Located on a quiet street yet close to the heart of the city. Breakfast was good too.
Our room's shower did not work so they switched us to a new room swiftly, but the new room's air was a little stuffy. Opening the window fixed it. Quick check in & check out. Thank you
This hotel made our first trip to New York City truly unforgettable. From the warm greeting as we walked through the door to the heartfelt farewell as we departed, this hotel offered one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Nice central location, which is very convenient. Staffs are friendly and could address your concerns or requests properly. Wish the room could be cleaned more carefully.
I tried this suite for 2 days after a corner room and I have to say it is worth it. The staff could have had me check out at 11am and wait till 4pm to check in but they are very considerate. They saw I was tired and allowed a late check out and when my original room was not ready yet they gave me one on a higher floor so I would have to wait. This was the 52nd floor and it also snowed and it looked...
Hotel is located in a different part of the city, so do not believe any confirmation address or address in the app. They didn't treat you seriously.
I asked to be recalled with info, they should pay a taxi from the address they're providing for a real address. No sorry, no nothing. Additional strange charges at the check out.
The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Manhatton overlooking One World Trade Centre and Ground Zero. We had a room on the 26th floor which offered fantastic views over the Hudson river. Rooms are functional, clean and attractive.
Unstable WiFi
Weak water pressure
We made two separate bookings and asked them on the first day if we could keep the same room without checking out, and they said yes, but the hotel cards stopped working and we had to go to the reception and talk to them about it again.

Really loved our stay here! Right in the middle of Times Square, but pocket side so it's not as noisy. Super easy to commute, go to places and walk towards everwhere. Room was spacious, great value for how much and where it is located! 10/10 would go back again.
Was amazing. Breakfast is actually credit in the hotel store.
Great location, but the price is high during peak season. Breakfast isn't a buffet. Prices are much cheaper during the off-season, so there's a big fluctuation. They're quite accommodating; if a room is available, they'll let you check in early.
The hotel's location is excellent; despite being in a bustling area, the room was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bottled water was also generously supplied.
Overall the hotel was good. However, this hotel did not give the overseas customers the compensations on destination or city tax, unlike other hotels especially Hilton. Secondly, the front desk was not friendly. I requested my receipt to be mailed but I did not receive any. However, the housekeepers are polite and did their job excellently.
Great! Everything you need, convenient location, and a quiet, comfortable room.

Take a step back in time and visit the TWA terminal hotel. It was a lot of fun to spend the night at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the exhibits and things to do were fun and informative.
As a New Yorker I was extremely thankful the powers that be stopped the demolition of the hotel. It’s a monument to a bygone era - we actually did travel dressed as if going to church, not to bed. I have stayed at this Instagram’d overload hotel 6 times. Very limited options - especially if a TV shoot or a party takes over the bar and central area - which is a constant thing. The Gym is great ...
We have stayed at this hotel twice and it is soooo convenient when traveling and just a lot of fun. It is a throwback to the glamorous era of flight in the 1960's complete with an old aircraft as a bar and lots of fun retro things to see within the hotel. The rooms are retro but still have the modern ammenities and are clean and bright. The restaurant also has a retro vibe but has good food selections...
This nice, iconic hotel is just across Terminal 5. Very easy to get with all your luggage after a long trip so you can rest before your final destination. Very clean with wide spaces. Nice cafeteria.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sonam at the front desk is the reason the TWA Hotel lives up to its legendary reputation. After a brutal day of long flights, immigration lines, and the general chaos of international travel, we arrived at the TWA Hotel running on fumes. Sonam was the first person who made us feel like human beings again. His warmth was immediate and genuine — not the rehearsed hospitality of someone going through...

Good stay. One of the things I enjoyed was the complimentary wash for the gym clothes. I run everyday and this is an absolute treat!
It was really good - great value for money. However I must say that the rooms are quite small. We were 3 in a room with two queen size beds and there was barely enough space to open our suitcases let alone unpack our bags. But overall I would go there again. 🗽✨ My stay at the EVEN Hotel New York - Midtown East by IHG was, on the whole, really satisfying.

Very good location. Lexington and 23 rd. Quiet area mid town. Safe. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The cafe downstairs - Smile to go had good coffee and simple breakfast menu that was tasty and affordable. Folded egg muffin was delicious.
I was able to stay joyfully while helping my son settle into college. I would like to come back to this freehand hotel when I visit New York again.

I really like Manhattan, so I feel bad giving this hotel a low rating. However, it seems like they've divided too many rooms to maximize profits, making the hallways extremely narrow.
