Good location, small room, slow elevator.
Pretty average experience. Had an issue with payment that the hotel failed to resolve and had to be done so by trip.com. Room wasn’t very clean and we weren’t provided with towels - which we didn’t realise until we returned late at night. Partial landmark view is a farce. You can see the top of St Patrick’s Cathedral… from behind a service deck. Apart from this, it’s relatively well priced for NYC...
Basically as expected, comfortable and pleasant.
✅ Space was just enough for a couple. ✅Clean ✅Nice bed ✅ They provide toiletries ✅ They have a blower ✅ Good AC ✅ With coffee & water ✅ Near Timesquare ✅ Nice staff ❌ No free toothbrush/toothpaste ❌ No slippers

Dream Midtown, by Hyatt, New York1 / 30

New York, 210 West 55th Street (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
First time staying in NY overnight! This hotel is clean, stocked with good quality essentials, and in the heart of NY close to subway for cheap travel. I’d like to thank Dragana in maintenance for being so kind and helping me stock my room, the hotel is lucky to have such a hardworking employee!
Our experience was great, they let us check in early when we arrived around 11 am. Their staff was very friendly. Location wise, everything is just around the corner. A lot of restaurants in the area. Train subway is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
This place does feel like a Dream, from the convenience of being in Midtown, to the small elevator and long hallways, stunning rooftop views, I'd stay again and recommend others. My stay was comfortable, slept well, some noise, the blinds helped defuse the lights outside the room window. There was a mix up with 3rd party payment however the staff was patient if reviewing payment history and effortless...
We checked out today. The hotel and rooms could use some TLC, we had a queen bed, and the room was kinda tight. It kind of felt like we were on a cruise; however the staff was incredible. Housekeeping kept our room nice and clean every day!! Absolutely Loved that!! Mike at the front desk was so caring, courteous and extremely nice. Location could not be better, short walk to Central Park, shops, Columbus...
They didn’t have any soap, or hand washing soap.
This was a nice quick over night stay! Fish tank is so pretty. Love the fact there was a robe!

The location is great. Nice staff.
Good location. Paid $100 for late checkout.
Old hotel, perfect service, but poor of service like a bottle of water
It was a decent stay at Hotel 57. Natural advantage given location of the hotel, with tons of food options nearby, and walking distance to most of my meetings in midtown Manhattan. I find the design of the room sub par. For instance, the TV is above the study area, and the latter is kinda boxed up. The tap lever in the toilet needs to be pushed in to on the water supply, which is unintuitive. There...
The hotel is quite good, and considering its highly advantageous location, other flaws seem acceptable, such as the small room, tiny windows, an old plastic coffee machine, lack of drinking cups, and no toiletries set, etc. The service is excellent, very efficient and convenient. The gym on the third floor is fantastic and spacious, and the business room is thoughtfully equipped with computers and...

Our family visited at Christmastime and stayed in a King Suite. The rooms are nicely furnished with a modern flair and I appreciated the hardwood floors vs carpet. The bathroom is nicely tiled in marble but could be bigger. There isn’t a countertop for toiletries or cosmetics. The location is great but the street noise on Lexington is very loud. We heard sirens and horns late into the night. I would...
We travel to NYC often with family for mini-vacations and usually choose this Benjamin midtown location which is very convenient. It very walkable to Rockefeller center and shopping areas during Christmas time. Subway stations very close by. The rooms and suites are decent size with comfortable beds. We particular like staying in their suites, which has a kitchenette with a microwave oven. We feel...
I stayed with my family in this wonderful hotel. It’s very well located. The service is very professional at all times. The rooms are luxurious. It has a mini kitchen, with microwave and refrigerator among other things. I recommend it if you want a fantastic experience.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel Friday into Saturday. Every staff member we interacted with was well trained, friendly, helpful and service oriented. This hotel has a great location in midtown and has easy access to restaurants, theaters, shopping and site seeing. Our room was very nice, freshly renovated and had everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable...
This has been a fantastic hotel to stay in. Mid-town is perfect for getting everywhere, but you can escape the busy uptown and hang out in some great bars and restaurants locally. We were spoilt for choice. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful, warm and welcoming. Special mentions to Jonathan on the door and Dimitri in the bar, who really looked after us. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and...
Rooms are decent if not a bit dated. The towels are great, and I'm a stickler for good towels. They have pillow options which is cool. However, the hallways and doors are super noisy. The housekeeping staff was going in and out of some staff room late into the night and it kept me awake with the door constantly slamming. Sleep isn't that restful. So I can't rate this highly, which is a shame.

We love the location of the hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful with suggestions on local restaurants, shopping and transportation. Rooms are clean, extra towels -no problem! The penthouse restaurant is the perfect way to start or end your day in the Big Apple.
Once again The Kimberly did not disappoint. The staff, rooms and overall hotel were wonderful. We love spending time at The Kimberly during the holidays. Will be back again next year.
Room was clean, updated and very spacious. Staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay. A lot of street noise from our room on the 5th floor made it difficult to sleep, but not the hotel’s fault.
Our room felt like a well appointed suite - I loved the separation between, kitchenette, living space and bedroom. The boutique hotel was charming. Truly the staff made the stay earn the excellent rating. I felt like the most important guest. I only stayed one night but will return for all my visits to New York.
Excellent hotel and excellent service attitude from all hotel staff, special thanks to Katy at the reception and to Arian at the roof-top restaurant for their great attitude and professionalism.
The Kimberly hotel is charming. I stayed in a suite and it was very large and nicely decorated in a sort of antique style. The lobby is pleasant, and there is an amazing aquarium outside the restaurant. The staff was consistently pleasant. I have only two suggestions: first, one of the elevators is broken and apparently has been so for some time. Get it fixed. This is NY. Hustle. Second, I recommend...

Times Square and Broadway were both within walking distance! We stayed for several nights, and they, of course, changed our towels daily. It was a fun stay, even with five of us in the room.
The room was not clean. We told the hotel desk and they act like they didn’t care.
The location was great ! However room was below my expectation, you could hear the gym noise all the time, running on treadmill and the weights being dropped all night ! The aircon was so noisy all night, it was like you were on a plane the whole night.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 25-minute walk to the Brooklyn Bridge photo op spot. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including some incredibly good value Chinese restaurants, which are a big plus for Chinese travelers. The front desk staff provided top-notch service and arranged a very satisfying breakfast for us, which was also perfectly suited to Chinese tastes.
There was water available in the lobby, which was great because I could get a cold drink anytime. Also, the bed and vanity were large and very convenient to use.
The facilities are complete, and the service is good. Although the lobby is small, it's cozy. Getting around by subway and bus is super convenient, and shopping is great too, plus the Barclays Center is nearby.
convenient loaction, the room is clean.

The hotel is older and smaller than I expected. The shower drain was blocked with hairs. Very disgusting! We couldn’t continue to use the shower because the water gathered a pool in the shower area. The maintenance guy came to fix it quite quickly however it left a mess in the bathroom, with hairs on the floor and dirts on the shower mat. I had to call again for cleaning. Considering it was our first...
The room is too small and the equipment is a bit damaged
6.9.25 fabulous customer service, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. My bed was very comfortable and, finally, this hotel had comfy pillows. The fan was loud enough to block out any city traffic noise. I gave the room a 4 only because of how dark the room felt, and some of the accessories were 6. The hallway was very dark coming off the elevator. The room was modern and comfy, and...
At reception we were rudely informed the rooms were not available for check-in before even greeting us, checking our name, or booking, in which we had previously informed them of our arrival at 11am. The shower drain backed up and when...
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a lovely experience! I was a bit nervous after reading some recent reviews, but everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms had everything we needed. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the nightly $40+ service fee…which wasn’t clearly explained and didn’t seem to include much (no breakfast or water). I just...
I like this area, so AKA is a better choice in this area. Convenient transportation, quiet in a busy area, and many delicious restaurants around. Excellent location. Don't expect much from a convenient hotel in New York, with great service and amenities.
A beautiful hotel right in the centre of midtown Very comfortable, great rooftop bar with a great view of the Empire State Building
Everything is great, the location, the hotel itself, the room... The downsides are only one elevator that goes to the ph floor and the lack of a full-length mirror in the room
Great location, a minute away from metro.  Large rooms with ample space.  Really friendly and attentive staff.  Always greeting and available.  Free tea and coffee all day and great machines with flavoured water at your desired temperature and sparkling or not!  They also have free fruit, biscuits (if you're quick) and a coffee/hot choc machine available from 1pm for a few hours.  Black Tap burger...

Everything and i mean everything was amazing about this hotel every single staff member is super sweet and friendly, rooms are spotless and big and prefect, prices are great if you bundle. There is plenty to walk to around if not train right down the road the only thing that was bad was the parking ill never ever take a car again no where to park at all.
We are torn about this review. Partly because we cannot do printed justice to how well you run the place and partly because we don’t want anyone else to know how well run it is so that we keep availability all to ourselves whenever we need you. Hmmm. What to do what to do….
The staff at 3 PM was a highlight. Everyone was professional. My issue mainly was the room and the fact that this hotel did not show adequate photos of the room prior to my day the room itself was clean. There were a few damages that could easily been fixed some spackling work.
Close to the 7 train. Nice neighborhood
The room was like a stylish apartment, had two bottles of water in the fridge, sofa bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping was friendly too. Someone was always there to open the entry door for you. Would have loved to have a few snacks and drinks in the room (would have been happy to pay!)
Polite, front desk, clean room Downside room was not ready at three for check-in heating and air conditioning. System was so loud. It woke up multiple times at night as well as the overhead fan.

The staff service was average. The view from the room was fantastic — though I think that might only apply to the higher floors. The location is great and very convenient; you can walk to the pier, so the access is perfect. However, the walls are quite thin. You can clearly hear noises from the hallway, as well as from the rooms above and next to you.
Stayed for five nights. The location is very convenient. It is very close to Broadway and Times Square. The room is clean and hygienic. I highly recommend this hotel and will choose to stay again

The hotel is in a perfect location, right next to Times Square and the Subway stations. The room however was in rough shape. It had staining in the bed, along the walls and in the bathroom. Clean room and wonderful staff. One thing missing were snack and beverage choices in the first floor executive lounge. I will return to this Hilton whenever I visit Brooklyn.
The room was fine. However, we were misinformed as to the Valet parking as it related to in and out. We were told that Valet parking didn’t have in and out parking, when the website clearly said it did. Additionally, the towels were cheap and shedding i got piece of cotton all over my body drying off. I recommend they reorder new ones.
Great location in Brooklyn. Have stayed here before and will again. Our king bed & mattress in our 5th floor room was heavenly.
The staff were super friendly, helpful and very accommodating. My only disappointment was the timing of the room service, ideally a midday cleaning service would’ve been preferred o

Even Holiday Inn has tea in the room. I never would think to provide my own tea at a nice NYC hotel. There was no coffee in the room, either. They did bring some up when we asked.

The weather was extremely cold but the hotel and our room was lovely and warm. Will definitely stay here again.
The Michelangelo Hotel is a nice traditional hotel. It’s clean comfortable and quiet. Staff are very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay there.
Cons: Noisy. During Thanksgiving, the noise from the street continued until midnight. Pros: Very large rooms, good value for money, close to Times Square, subway station, and Broadway theaters.
