As a Marriott Vacation Club member and regular user worldwide, this was by far the poorest my wife and I have stayed in and at iver $800 a night. You are paying for a very good location but no restaurant, no proper facilities etc. tiny bathroom, tiny wardrobe (about a foot wide) and very run down carpets etc. and not even a decent worktop to do any work. I stayed earlier in the week in Marriott Courtyard...

The concierge kept trying to sell us on Marriot vouchers. They did not offer to help us with our experience, they were trying to sell me more. I felt hounded by staff upon entering and exiting hotel every time. That was annoying. The room and facilities were great

I love the sack breakfast but I didn't care for the apple every day. Room was clean and cozy. Lobby is always packed with people!! Hard to find a seat to have a quick breakfast in the lobby. Clean, very comfortable, staff wonderful and the location was great for Central Park and the subway and upmarket shopping. The only drawback was this hotel doesn’t have any breakfast or hotel bar facilities. We had to walk a fair way to get breakfast that suited our tastes.

Great place to stay in NYC We loved our stay at the hotel! The room was roomy, nicely appointed and the bathroom was nicely arranged and sized. The staff was terrific and the services met our needs. So-so. The hygiene was decent, and the facilities were okay. Service was really slow, which wasn't great. The location was also pretty good. They were flexible with a slightly late check-out, and the deposit was refunded quite quickly.

The location is great, close to Koreatown and Macy's, and the 1 train at 28th Street is just about a 2-minute walk away. There are lots of food options nearby! The hotel isn't too tall, so the elevators aren't usually crowded, and all the staff are very nice! It's also super convenient for temporary parking right in front. We had a great stay at The Evelyn! Our first stop for NY and everything had a great vibe; the rooms were beautiful and the Tusk Bar was the perfect way to unwind. This is considered a very good hotel in downtown New York City. Lots of Japanese people. It's also very safe to walk around at night. It's very close to Central Station, about a 5-minute walk. There's a super delicious breakfast shop next door. The hotel breakfast is okay, but the chocolate shop downstairs is amazing.

Great staff - professionals, welcoming, and accommodating of special requests. The room is good - spacious and clean. However, the hotel lobby and hallways probably needs upgrading as it is becoming dated and sad looking. Maybe new carpets, lighting fixture, and art work would brighten up the place to keep its high standard.

Our trip to New York wouldn’t have felt complete without our stay at AKA Central Park. The location of the residence made so many spontaneous, last-minute plans wonderfully easy—whether it was stepping out for a walk, a meal, or an unexpected discovery in the city. From arrival to departure AKA was ideal for us. So near Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping, art galleries, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Centre, theatres. The accommodation couldn’t have been better - roomy, with excellent service from front desk as well, plus a cafe and gym. I highly recommend AKA Central Park.

We loved our stay at AKA Central Park! My husband and I visited NYC for two weeks to celebrate our birthdays and see the city at Christmas time. We wanted a kitchen and living room but also a hotel experience, with people at the front desk to greet and guide us when we had questions.
