Carpet in rooms could stand a renovation. No view window and scaffolding outside. Shower head awful and ancient.  Bed very comfortable. Electrical issues in the room.
The room was cozy and didn't feel dated at all!
Really don't understand all the negative reviews on this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is prime, the service and staff were super supportive and friendly, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and wonderful. I was in town for a conference and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very classy and sophisticated, not outdated like others mention. The holiday decor this time of year...
The room was completely overpriced; it was way too expensive for over 6000 RMB. They didn't even provide a hairdryer, and it didn't meet my expectations.
Me and my sisters stayed here for 4 days during the Christmas period. We were blown away with the quality of service we received while being here. All the staff are so kind and welcoming and make you feel so at home, always available to offer any assistance at any time. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The beds are very comfy and the facilities are very clean and hygienic...
I am currently debating in selecting this hotel for my family. We are coming from abroad looking for a hotel with an antique, old -fashioned charm- something with classic architecture yet elegant vintage details and a warm holiday atmosphere. We would love a room with a high floor, panoramic city views. Since we are traveling during the Christmas season, we are hoping for a hotel that features original...

Great spot and good service from hotel staff. Clean rooms.
Nice hotel situated perfectly The only thing I would say is not enough storage and hardly any amenities
Let's talk about the high-tech aspects. The day before check-in, you can select your preferred floor and room location through the Hilton app. I barely visited the front desk during my stay. Both check-in and check-out can be completed directly on your phone. You can get an electronic key card by opening the app, and unlock your room door just by holding your phone near it. The room's lighting and...
Great location and connectivity to key sights in the city. Room was clean, shower water temperature and pressure were amazing. Elevators were a little slow during peak hours, but everything else was great.
The Hilton New York is located in the heart of Manhattan, offering convenient access to public transportation with several subway stations within walking distance, making it easy to reach various city attractions and business centers. The room size is typical for hotels in downtown New York, with a standard layout and clean bedding, generally meeting accommodation needs. The hotel provides 24-hour...
Great location and a fantastic, modern hotel. Everything was very clean, and our room had excellent views over the city. We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only downside was the lifts — the queues were long and most of the time only one out of four seemed to be working. It would also be helpful if the £10 daily credit could roll over. Despite this, I would definitely recommend the hotel and...

Great location. Cool vibes. Clean and nice room. Service at restaurants and bar were slow, but food and drinks were great.
Room was quiet and clean. Doorman was courteous and helpful. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
Service was not good overall it was mid. Entrance of hotel at night is hectic because of the nightclub in the hotel, should have a different door than guest door (ask you for room card everytime before coming in making you feel like you're trying to sneak in the hotel) Very loud at night. No gym available for guests to use. No dental care available or any extras for personal use. They totally refused...
Everything from the Doorman greeting upon arrival to the check out process is excellent. It is a perfectly located, excellent hotel!
I’m into architecture this was the quirkiest coolest hotel in New York but yet upscale I’ve ever been to.
Our stay at SoHo Grand was exceptional! The hotel was decorated so beautifully for Halloween!! Everyone was so accommodating, helpful and genuinely kind! We will be back!

Walking into the standard based off a friend's recommendation i was immediately impressed by the beautiful lobby. Very chic and stylistic. The Gingerbread house aka living room area was nice when we arrived early and out room wasnt quite ready yet. Once we were able to get settled in our room I loved how it was designed, styled, and furnished. Little touches go a long way. Big beautiful windows overlooking...
I had been wanting to stay at this hotel, and I'm so glad I did. All of my interactions with the personnel were so kind and respectful. They team really went above and beyond at this hotel. I also love the location -- I was in town visiting from DC and it was very close to Penn Station to get home. The neighborhood was also a prime location and views were beautiful. I'll be staying again here soon
I had a wonderful stay at The Standard Hotel in NYC. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable, everyone we interacted with was kind, polite, and welcoming. A special shout-out to Rosa, who went above and beyond with so much care, patience, and professionalism. She was exceptionally helpful, gracious, and always delivered service with a smile. This place has a lot of charm. The decor and overall vibe is historic New York meets modern day. There is wallpaper around that calls to yesterday. The artwork in the room is cute. There is a bar and restaurant on site. There are multiple entrances which is helpful depending on how you arrive. The staff were welcoming on arrival and departure. The low rating is because it advertises as a 4 star hotel...
Stayed on the busiest weekend of the Christmas period and yet managed to get a reasonably priced room that was a good size for the 4 of us. The decor is lovely and the bed sheets soft, clean and the beds are very comfortable. On a less positive note light sleepers could have a problem with the outside noise and the noise from neighbours above and below. Our room was at the very end of the corridor...
This is my second time staying. The restaurants are good and service wonderful. My room last time was amazing, although a little loud due to the proximity to the street/bar across the street. This visit I requested a room with a larger desk so I could work. They were accommodating. Sadly the room is very dark, even with all of the lights on. It sounds like there is a Subway train under my bathroom...
The hotel is in a great location near multiple subway lines but closest to the #6. Nicely decorated, pleasant staff. At the time of our stay, the Redbury was able to arrange parking at a nearby garage for a discount under regularly charged rates. We didn’t eat at Marta unfortunately but the smells from the restaurant were always inviting, and there was lots of activity into the evening. We didnt have...
A very clean hotel with a restaurant in the lower East side. I didn't spend the night here however, the vibe I got from just visiting the hotel was very positive. The bathroom on the ground floor was elegantly done and it seemed like they were constantly cleaning. Nice reception, hopefully can spend the night there one day.
Staff gave us five star treatment. Excellent complimentary gourmet coffee every morning. Room upgrade with empire state building view. Nice complimentary champagne for hubs bday. Great location. Great vibe.

Clean rooms, delicious restaurant
The hotel is in a very convenient location, with the subway nearby or within walking distance. There is no special hotel service, the room is very small, there is no special night view outside, the decoration is a bit too simple, and the wall at the head of the bed really surprised me
Friendly front desk, bottled water available in the lobby on the 6th floor, some guest room towels have odor, convenient for travel
The location was perfect for our trip, right next door to MSG! The rooms were nice enough, just poor insulation from outside noise or inside odors of late night extracurricular activities. The staff was helpful and nice. The restaurant was delicious. I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again.
This hotel was just a mini getaway for the evening. The only issue I didn't like is there isn't a microwave to heat anything up. The concierge were very pleasant.the view was beautiful I would recommend anyone to give the hotel a try. The ambience was beautiful & the beds are very comfortable.
The location is good, the subway is well connected. You can walk to the Empire State Building and Times Square. You can go to the Statue of Liberty directly without changing subways, Line 1. Clean and sanitary, the bed is comfortable.

I had a great stay at Arlo Soho! As a solo traveler, just for a few days in NY for a work event, Arlo was the perfect spot! All staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant onsite is really good! Location is great! Easy to walk around with lots of restaurants close by. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom door is no really a door, it doesn't completely close. Since I was alone...
The experience here was fantastic. If I could give extra stars for service, I would. Our trip encountered a curve ball (nothing to do with the hotel) so Andrew & Al went above and beyond to help us out (so great). The rooms were clean and the umbrella came in handy! Bonus: if you require a spot to do some work, there is plenty of space for that (which we did). Bottom line: we'll be back.
Al at the front desk treated me like I was checking into a $1k/night room - just absolutely stellar service. They granted me early check-in. There’s an excellent co-working space just beyond the lobby. Minuscule room - barely bigger than the bed. But well-designed, considering. Immaculately clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this is a solid spot. I will...
I stayed in January & absolutely loved it. The staff was nice, personable, & accommodating. We ate at Lindens & the food & drinks were so perfect that we didn't bother getting food anywhere else. We even had a coursed out meal in a heated cottage on our last day. The location is great for shopping & site seeing as well. I've thought about the trip every week since & can't wait to go back.
Perfect location. If you prefer staying a bit away from the busiest tourist areas, this hotel is an excellent choice. SoHo and Tribeca are charming neighborhoods with beautiful streets and architecture — simply walking around already feels like an experience. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and bars, and it’s close to Bleecker Street, where you can find live music venues featuring...
Room and sheets were very clean and I was given a quiet spot which I was really happy about. Water was well heated and pressure was perfect as well. The room was tidy, bed very comfy and a great location. Easy check in and check out, front desk team were very helpful. I’ll definitely be booking again.
Nice hotel, beautiful rooftop bar where you can relax. There is also a nice lobby downstairs where you can work or have a drink at the bar. The hotel room is on the small side, but despite that, we had a fine experience for two people. Lighting, TV, and air conditioning can be adjusted via iPad, which works well. The hotel is quite centrally located and easy to reach, including from JFK airport.
Cozy hotel. Good breakfast and coffee. Room is quite small though
Room was very clean, staff was super helpful. Missing one star because the in room bathroom wasn’t great. The door didn’t fully close, no shelving/hooks, very few amenities. Additionally, the ‘light cleans’ provided by the hotel were just making the bed. I would have appreciated trash being picked up, etc. Great neighborhood though!
The hotel was excellent in several ways: great location, beautiful and funky decor, everything was very clean in the hotel and my room, which had a comfortable bed and was very cozy. The lounge /bar areas on the downstairs and top floors were amazing and the view was spectacular! Most of all, the staff were very kind and helpful, going out of their way a couple of times to help me. I would like to...

The front desk staff were very friendly. When you request breakfast, they give you a voucher, which you can use to choose from five menus at Wilson, located across from the front desk on the first floor, between 7 and 10 a.m. The brunch-style breakfast offered a choice of salmon bagels, waffles, and croissant sandwiches. Very clean room. There was chilled water and soda in the fridge, very useful after the hot weather. Downstairs there is a restaurant with very tasty food, no need to go far. Comfortable mattress. Dark curtains. The main advantage is check-out at 12. We were able to get a good night's sleep after a long walk the day before.
The location is convenient and located on a quiet street. The room is quite small. Stuff are friendly and all request are promptly delivered. There is a mandatory daily charge of around $40 every night for WiFi and water/ drinks in the minibar.

The hotel's location is ideal. Two elevators provide access to the room. However, the room lacks basic, inexpensive amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, and a hairdryer. These are available upon request, but are extremely inconvenient if you're staying for just one night and don't have time to wait.
Very bad service ,no amenities and not even a single compliment water for our stay. We book 3 rooms for 6 notes.
Super good location right at Times square where all the buzz is. Everything is right down the hotel from shows to places to eat and Big Bus tour
Overall, it's good. The location is excellent, right in Times Square, New York.
The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and understanding. She allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated since we flew in from CA and with the time different and able to rest for a bit in the room before we start our day was the best ever. Thank you!!!

No breakest with room booking. Air blowing of heat air was a bit noise. Door closing is loud, people not holding the door when closing.
Excellent service, great facilities, and a prime location that makes getting to downtown New York a breeze.
It was okay. It's very close to the subway station, and there are many breakfast places nearby. The lobby isn't very big, and the coffee and breakfast area in the lobby was cold. The room was also small.
We were a family of four staying in a quad room, but amenities like towels and coffee were only provided for three people. The entrance was narrow, and the space between the two double beds and the remaining area was tiny. We couldn't even fully open our luggage; every time we needed something, we had to take it out and immediately close the suitcase and stand it upright, otherwise, we couldn't walk...
This hotel is located in the city center, but there aren't many dining options nearby. The square was also quite empty at night, probably because of the cold weather. The room decor was decent, and it was a nice touch that the front desk had staff who spoke Chinese.
I waited for an hour after check-in time because no room was available. The telephone in the room is broken so can't contact frontdesk and have to come down, the air conditioner is broken, doesn't produce heat at all. All confirmed by technician. And the air conditioner is extremely noisy, can't sleep well.

This place was absolutely amazing! I stayed for a week and didn't encounter a single issue. Thanks to them, I made some wonderful memories.
Overall, our stay was mostly good, although there were a few issues, especially at the beginning and with service. Overall I would say our stay was good. Cute cafe in the lobby with good lattes. Great location, right in between uptown and downtown, which is what I wanted so travel both up and down wasn’t super far. There was a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms one could hear. Overall would rate this 3 stars. The promotional lady gave some good deals for upcoming stays.
Right at the Heart of the City! This is a centrally-located hotel right in the middle of the busy city of New York! The costs are justifiable based on the quality of the hotel. We’ve stayed at this property many times throughout the years. The location is excellent for what we like to do in NYC.
